Review: The company has added a negative statement to my credit report alleging I owe $88.00. My doctors have no records of using this service and my hospital and doctor bills have been paid in full. This company has not provided me with any explanation of charges.Desired Settlement: Explanation of charges and removal from credit report.

Review: My husband and I had a debt from a medical bill we were calling to take care of. Unfortunately this bill got lost along the way as my husband had surgery and been admitted to the hospital for complications and my son had also been in the hospital, but we were in the process of making sure all payments to all Dr. and facilities were being taken care of. My husband had tried to set up an automatic payment arrangement and get a letter stating the arrangement. We first of all did not receive the letter to sign giving them permission to pull the money from our account and agree too payment or their fees until after they had already pulled the first payment from our account and at that point we never did sign it. Then 2 weeks later they pull the amount again which originally cleared our bank. Unfortunately we had a bank error and our check was returned. There was still money in the account and therefore our bank refunded our NSF fee and apologized. We then contacted J.R. Brothers to make sure the final payment would be completed. She then told us we had to pay an additional $25 now on top of our original amount due to the check getting returned. Again I never signed a paper stating I would pay any of their additional fees and it was a mistake on my banks behalf. My bank however is not going to refund me money for another company trying to tack on fees. My husband tried to speak to Robin about this and even explained we can send a copy of our bank statement indicating that this was not our fault. She was very rude and told him he needed to pay the full amount then asked when he would like to do that. When he answered that he wasn’t sure now that they are tacking on fees that we never agreed to she then became irate and increasingly rude and told him that she would be making sure the credit bureau know that this was a refusal to pay issue and that she would make sure it would screw up his credit. He then tried to get her manager on the phone of which she then claimed she was the supervisor and he could not speak to anyone else. He again tried to get her superior on the phone but she refused. We know she is not the head person there so there is someone else she could have allowed us to speak to however she in turn just kept telling my husband that he needed to pay their new amount and that by not doing so she was going to make sure it ruins his credit, hanging up on him when he said no again. When he called back she then refused to speak to him saying that he was the one with the “filthy mouth” yelling at her and hung up on him again! We are happy to pay the amount of our original bill but not a penny more to a company that is obviously just out to harass and bully people. Had she been a little more respectful and empathetic we might have actually paid the fee and everyone would be continuing on without any issue. Instead she feels the need to belittle and threaten us so I will make it a point to file a complaint with every available agency that handles these matters as well as speak to my lawyer about any and all action that can be taken against the company and even Robin personally! NO ONE deserves to be treated like this.Desired Settlement: My complaint may be simple but I have read numerous reviews about this same woman doing awful things to other people as well. If she's this rude and threatening to us how does she treat the elderly and sick that are just trying to pay their bills as well? I don't want her or this company to be able to harass and bully people like this anymore.

I am in the process of buying a home and JR Brothers came up on my credit report. Rather than wait for advice from my lender on how to proceed with my account, I called them and took care of the bill. About 20 minutes later, my lender called me saying not to pay accounts right now, that we would pay at closing once it went through the underwriters, so it would not affect my FICO score. I checked my bank and the payment had no gone through. I called back right away and spoke with [redacted] (who assisted me on my first call) and she told me the payment was processed already. I then told her that the payment had not been processed because I was looking at my bank. She said "let me go check and see with the girls who processes payments". When she came back on the phone she said "payment has been posted, there is nothing I can do". I told her that I had worked in collections and if I was asking to have the payment pulled, I know that she was able to do that. She told me "you know nothing, you don't work for JR Brothers and that is it" and hung up on me. I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. When I was transferred, I was transferred back to [redacted]. I told her that I would like to speak to her supervisor. She starting yelling saying "I am the supervisor and why don't you call your bank if you have a problem", and hung up. At this point I was frustrated as to not be getting anywhere with this lady. I was trying to explain to her that I would pay off my balance in the next couple of weeks, just couldn't right now. I called back and asked to speak to another supervisor other than [redacted]. I was told she was the only one in. I asked for a manager's name that I could call later. I was placed on hold and low and behold guess who comes back on the phone.. [redacted]. When she answered, this is what she said "We are going to reverse the payment, but you ARE still going to be charged the $9 processing fee" and slammed the phone down. Never in my life have I been talked to in that manner. I will be calling my doctor's office, so he knows what kind of people he has trying to collect his money.

Review: [redacted] from J.R. Bros has verbally harassed my family members regarding a charge that he refuses to explain. Was asked to cease calling my family and hung up on me. Rude, abusive and unethical.Desired Settlement: [redacted] should be fired for harassment.

Please consider what really transpired with Mr. [redacted]. He considered it harassing family members when the phone number provide to us was his Mothers. All we can do is contact phone numbers provided to us by him or our medical clinet.In addition he also stated we would not provide him proof of the bill he has been delinquent on. [redacted] tried to explain it was not scanned into our system as yet and would mail a copy to him immediately. [redacted] asked for a good address to mail it to him and help keep it off his credit. I never furnished my mother's phone number for the purpose of harassment; it was provided for emergency contact only. Mr. [redacted] hung up on me. Everything this woman said is untrue. These people are incredibly rude and unprofessional. There was a lady that used to work there, [redacted], who was polite and respectful. However, since she left, [redacted] and [redacted] are rude and their treatment can be considered borderline harassment. I asked to speak to [redacted] supervisor today. When he asked why, I began to explain that it didn't matter and he said "exactly." I then began to explain how I had been treated in dealing with them and he hung up on me. This is a terrible way to do business as it is unprofessional to hang up on clients.

On may 5th 2014 I received a phone call from [redacted] from JR brothers Financial collocation agency,both both [redacted] and her supervisor [redacted] were extremely rude. hey there used a lot of profanity and made threatening remark.

Review: To Whom it may concern: I would like to file a complaint against J R Brothers Financial Inc their collections agency [redacted] ext. [redacted] as she is VERY rude and unprofessional. On 04-08-14 I called to confirm a balance I informed [redacted] that I would call back after confirming that their records matched mine as far as the balance. When I called back I inquired on how I could make the payment but more importantly asked how I could get a letter stating that the account has been paid in full expedited as Im in the process of purchasing a house. [redacted] went on to say that the payment would take 10 days to process via check otherwise I can pay with money order or cashiers check via mail but continued to stress that a letter couldnt be expedited or picked up once payment is processed. However I notice on the website it states that customer contact can be done in person and even lists the address [redacted], AZ 85051. When I asked to speak with a manager [redacted] was very rude she claimed there were no managers available and says her manager is too busy with other things and wouldnt call me back. Regardless of how much is owed this is NO way to treat a client. My main goal here if within the companies policy is to expedite or pick up the letter of credit stating this account is paid in full what J R Brothers company does with [redacted] is obliviously a JR Brothers issue Im not overly concerned with that as I will not have to deal with this company any longer but if someone could please look into my request and contact me back at [redacted] I would greatly appreciate this. Review: Paid collection debt off in May 2013. Only time I had ever spoken with JR Brothers. Caked today and spoke with [redacted] asking if they would be willing to provide a letter of deletion. Rather than a simple no, [redacted] flips out and led accusing me of calling in several times before and cussing them out asking for the same thing and disconnected the call. That was the first time I ever requested that. They record their calls so they can verify that these accusations never happened.

I was taken aback and insulted at the false accusations and the HORRIBLE customer service that left me shaken up over a simple letter request.Desired Settlement: I would like an apology for the false accusations and the poor or customer service (worse I ever received) and for upper management to consider providing/honoring my request for letter of deletion for am account I willingly paid.

Absolutely awful, disrespectful and rude. Robyn hung up on me twice AFTER I had let her know I had set up payments. Harassment. It takes a certain kind of person to act like that. I feel awful for her that she has to live being that miserable. May she find peace and kindness.

Very Rude! called regarding a debt and when asked how I was going to pay for it right now I tried explaining I cant afford it at the moment. without asking to try to make arrangements. she said this is a refusal to pay. I tried to explain im not refusing the debt and she hung up on me. Worst collection company. These are medical bills not something people chose to have on the credit. These collection agencies need to take this into consideration.

My family is finally starting to get back on track after my husband lost his job in early 2011. Spring 2011 I had a surgery to remove cancerous cells from my body and because my husband was unemployed I was unable to take care of the bill until, well now; next month in March technically. I called and was transferred to some crazy dumb [redacted] who insisted I give her half today and half next month.I told her I couldn't do the entire debt today as I'm moving in the next few weeks and I really don't have the funds outside of what our move will cost us. I told her I could pay in full on April 11th at first, but when I noticed she was getting testy within the first few seconds of the conversation, I said 'well I can do it in full on march 15th.' Thinking to myself -- another bill will have to take the back burner for an extra week or two. Crazy [redacted] started yelling at me told me 'I don't care when you're moving, you pay half now and half next month, nothing else you say matters.' I said look my family is just starting to rebuild, I'm trying to put my best foot forward and sift through all this debt we have and get people what they are owed -- she cut me off -- told me 'i clearly dont understand the process'-- I flat out told her dont you talk down to me I am trying to PAY you what I owe you!!! She said I'm not talking down to you im being realistic! I told her I am trying here [redacted] she cut me off probably didn't even hear me call her a [redacted] -- and proceeded to finish me off with "We've called you a thousand times and discussed this with you -- have a nice day." and HUNG UP ON ME!!!! WHAT THE ACTUAL [redacted]??? I couldn't believe that was another human being on the other end of the line.

I hope crazy [redacted] isn't like that in real life. Must be a sad existence if she is.

Review: I recently was made aware of a bill with this collection agency and I believe the transaction was paid for, but attempted to pay to just resolve the issue. My wife [redacted] contacted them and spoke to Curtis he proceeded to hang up on her 2 times refusing to take payment stating she was being rude. She advised Curtis several times she was just in a hurry and just wanted to pay to resolve the issue. Curtis refused and hung up. [redacted] called back the 3rd time to ask business information about the company and spoke to an unknown female that refused to give her the business information initially, but then gave the information when [redacted] advised her she was filling a complaint.Desired Settlement: I would like my credit report to show this account is paid in full. Again, I believe it was paid but was willing to pay to expedite my credit report being cleared. They refused to take my money and I don't want them contacting me again.

Review: Jr. Brothers Financial is calling my business and work phone to attempt to collect a bill. I don't even know what the collection is about but for them to call me at my school is unethical and not tolerated. They can call my cell phone or mail me a complaint of which I have not received either. The woman's name is Robin P[redacted], I called her and asked her to not call me at work that she could call me at home uin the evening or send me a letter and she said she would continue to call my work because it was not against the law. These harrassment calls could ruin my job as I am an educator. I have asked them not to call my job!Desired Settlement: These people can mail me their collection and what is about by mail. They use unethical practices to threaten and harrass people but they did not leave a message or send me a letter what this is in regards to. I am requesting that all calls to my job cease.

Review: This company is collecting a debt from [redacted]. I have told [redacted] they need to provide something from the insurance company showing the denial of charges. My insurance covered my medical expenses. I spoke with [redacted] at JR Brothers today who told me that no one needed to provide me with anything showing this is legitimate charge. He said he can send me a statement from them showing I owe 840.00 and that is all they needed to provide. I disagreed because again the insurance company covered all these medical expenses. He hung up on me. I will be filing a complaint with the ** as well. The original company is trying to double bill and JR brothers is collecting a debt that is not legitimate.Desired Settlement: Show actual proof of this debt or remove it from my credit reports.

I had an unexpected urgent care bill from June, 2012 and received a call from JR Brother's Financial in December, 2013 informing me of the bill. I thought the person who was calling was my doctor, as I just got released from the hospital having surgery earlier that day. I explained to the person that I was just home from the hospital and asked for a call back when I recovered in a few days. I never received a call back until today 1/29/2014 and I then recalled excerpts from my conversation with her in December. I told her I was going to call the urgent care because there must have been a billing issue since I had two insurances and never had a bill. She said, "So you are refusing to pay?" I said no, that I wanted to clear it up and call back. She again said, "So I'm going to mark this as you refusing to pay and it will hit your credit score immediately." I then asked to speak to her supervisor. She replied, "Ha ha ha...I am the supervisor." I said, "Well you must report to someone and I want to speak to your supervisor now." She said, "You do not tell me now," and laughed again. She then put me on hold and transferred me to her supervisor, [redacted], who was also useless. He reiterated that she was a supervisor and I said I wanted him to know that I was treated horribly. He said, "Well how do you think you were treating our clients by not paying your bill?" I told him I didn't deserve, nor did anyone deserve to be treated this way, especially when the incident was a billing issue. I told him after he was rude again that I was going to report him to the Revdex.com. He said he was going to report me. I told him good luck with that since I'm not a business and hung up. When I called the urgent care, I clarified the situation and they realized it was a billing issue as both insurances weren't billed. I informed them of the type of people who work for this company and that if I were a business owner I wouldn't want my clients to experience such brutal treatment. She stated she will pass the information on and talk to the owner of JR tomorrow.

Review: Continue to call me and do not send itemized billing and/or proof of debt. Have requested they do not call me, family and/or work.Desired Settlement: Stop contacting me via phone, send billing so I can see if owed, give me enough time to pay if owed and if I owe it I will pay it within my budget guidelines

Review: I contacted jr brothers financial on July 6th 2015 in attempt to pay a medical bill. I tried to use a hsa card which I was informed May or May not work. I reviewed a call back on July 7th stating that the card did not work and if there was a mother way I could pay. I told them no not at the moment I can call back at a later date and make a payment. They informed if I did not make a payment at that moment or by august 1st they will mark they account as refusal to pay. I told them I am not refusing to pay I can't pay at this moment I can call you back and make a payment. They ended up hanging up on me and I tried to call back and speak with a supervisor who hung up on me as well. I have called a total of 20 times to work out a payment arrangement and they answer the phone and hang up.Desired Settlement: I need to pay my account in collections so I need to get in touch with the company and for people to know how disrespectful and rude they are!

Review: On 1/25 I contacted JR Brothers Finance located at [redacted] regarding a collection debt appearing on my credit report of $100.98. I spoke with a very pleasant women named Robin in the office who helped me track down and locate the issue with the debt. After some back and forth with Robin we were able to come to an agreement that if I could pay the debt in full, JR Brothers would be able to remove the debt from my credit report. I agreed happily to pay the debt in full in return for having this mark removed. I proceeded to authorize a check over the phone of $100.98 to settle the debt and receive assurance from Robin that if the debt was paid in full, that JR brothers would have no benefit or interest in maintaining the blemish on my credit report. On 1/26 the check for $100.98 was cashed and cleared.

My only concern with JR Brothers at this time is that I have not been offered a statement saying that the balance has been cleared even though the debt has been paid in full, nor have I received any assurances from Robin that this blemish has stopped being reported to [redacted], the credit reporting agency. If these two matters could be addressed I would consider my experience in dealing with JR Brothers Finance 100% positive.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive a statement of balance being cleared with JR Brothers of $100.98 through check over the phone.

Review: I went to a dentist in June of 2014 and provided my insurance card. About three months later I get a bill for 84.00 and I called my insurance who said there was a billing issue and to have the dentist submit the bill again. (They did pay 60.00 of it). My husband called and told them to submit the bill to insurance, and thought the whole thing was taken care of. We get another bill in January. We call the insurance again and they said it was never resubmitted. Then we get a notice from JR Brothers Collections. Now we are getting letters and calls for a bill that we don't owe. It was the dentist who didn't do what they were supposed to do, and didn't submit the bill properly to [redacted]. I refuse to pay a bill I don't owe and I don't accept a credit ding because of someone else's mistake or negligence. I also refuse to deal with abusive and nasty collection agencies who operate on the very fringe of being lawless.Desired Settlement: I want no more contact and that there not be a negative credit report as this is a bill I don't owe.
