[redacted] has provided me with the notes pertaining to...

the check,
• A check was issued on September 4 but a signature was needed.
• Since you were not home to sign for it, the postman left a card with information about which post office to pick it up from.
• The check was never picked up so the post office returned the check to [redacted].
Also, I apologize if the customer service you received was less than stellar.
Per our emails, I am happy to enclose $80 in Kroger Family of Stores Gift Cards in lieu of the $77 check and $100 to apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced. The Gift Cards are ready to use.

complaint you made with the RevDex.com concerning being declined for the Kroger Rewards [redacted] Card after being
sent a letter promoting the benefits of the card.  I would have liked the opportunity to explain
the process with you.
 
            The letter states, ‘You are
pre-qualified for a Kroger Rewards [redacted] Card.’ [redacted] never says ‘Pre-Approved’
because there may still be a chance a customer can be declined due to recent
credit activity.  
 
            This may have been the reason you
were declined, however, [redacted] who is the issuing bank for the Kroger
Rewards [redacted] Card has mailed you a letter with the reasons you were declined
issued from the credit bureau along with the instructions on how to get a copy
of your credit bureau information to validate it.  If you have not received the letter or would
like to speak to [redacted], please contact them at [redacted]
 
Please

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  I received a phone call from [redacted] the following day after the complaint was file. Nancy [redacted], from [redacted] and I discussed the issue and she was very apologetic for their company not taking immediate action on my request back on March 1st. She said, she is had a check cut and I should be receiving the check by next Wednesday, June 15, 2016. If I don't receive the check as promised I will contact Revdex.com for further action.

Even though emails successfully get information to an individual, they sometimes lack in capturing tone and sentiment. With that said, I am sorry the bank closed your card but as explained in my email, they did so based on what they could see occurring on your card.

[redacted] has mailed you a check for $571.24, the remaining balance on your [redacted] Prepaid Debit Card. Hopefully; you have received it by now.
Since we have not had an opportunity to discuss what you feel we owe you in fuel points or rewards and to apologize for any frustration you may have experienced, I am enclosing a $100 Kroger Gift Card and have added 1,000 fuel points to your March rewards. The gift card is ready to use.

            I regret the issues...

you had with the
Visa Prepaid Debit Card.
 
            We have confirmed with the bank that
your temporary card will be deactivated and a check with a refund of $100 will
be sent to you in the mail.  We estimate
that you will receive it within 7 to 10 business days. We will be reviewing the
call and making sure that appropriate coaching is provided to that agent using
feedback from the call.
 
           The
card packaging indicates the temporary card needs to be converted to a personalized
card in order for full feature availability. During the conversion your
identity was not able to be confirmed and that is why the agent requested
additional documentation as part of regulatory laws of “know your customer”.
There is also a disclosure on the package stating the temporary card is for use
in the U.S. only.
 
We have enclosed a $25 Kroger gift card
for any inconvenience
and to reimburse you for the card purchase fee. This card is ready to use and
does not expire.
