Review: I want my personal information removed from Veromi.net.No matter how these companies justify their practices on how they get consumers' information, it is THEIR OWN doing to put it on the Internet. I never authorized anyone to put my personal information on the Internet. That is a violation of privacy. I have been successful at removing my information from other sites, but Veromi.net requires you to disclose in writing via regular mail more personal information about you in order to remove yourself from their site. When we run just the first and last name given we get about 50 matches. The reason we ask for the info, is because we need to know which exact record to remove. We do not create these records, these are Public Record Databases. We cannot "enter" any information into Public Record. Public Records are reported by the individuals themselves. Review: On Sunday, June 21st I accepted a free 3 day trial offer from Veromi People Search. On Monday, June 22nd at 10:59 a.m. I sent them an e-mail (their instructions) to cancel the trial offer. While reviewing my credit card I noticed that they billed me $24.95 for the 1st month. I contacted them via phone and later e-mail showing the cancelation date and time stamped e-mail and they stated they did not receive my e-mail until June 25th which is impossible for yahoo mail to take 3 days to deliver an e-mail.Desired Settlement: I want my $24.95 back for a service I did not want.

Review: I have been attempting to have personal information for my wife and I removed from the Veromi.net website. I sent a letter dated June 11 with my request per the company's "opt-out" instructions on their website. I sent a follow-up letter on July 25. I have not received a response from them that my request has been completed. In checking their website, our personal information is still listed. Review: I ordered the minimal service of $.95 to seek an address only. There were 2 buttons to further/enhance Veromi services and I did not push either button because I did not want an enhanced service. I looked at my email and I was charged $39.95 the cost of the enhanced service. I called the company to reimburse this charge and the rep was very curt and rude telling me I purchased the report when I was very cognizant when online to not push the enhanced buttons for that kind of service.
