Review: My wife and I bought a dishwasher from Warehouse Discount Center and they came to install it. My electrical in the kitchen was working fine before the install. This includes the refrigerator, dishwasher, garbage disposal plus the outlets and switches working fine. After the installer (not an electrician) they sent add to, rewired and poorly changed the electrical we had major issues with our electrical in the kitchen and appliances. We had to get the electrical fixed and replace three appliances that were damaged by the terrible job. We contacted Warehouse Discount Center about reimbursing us for the damages.The Warehouse Discount Center then lied to us in an email stating that their installers never did any work to the kitchen electrical. That all they did was plug in the dishwasher to an existing power source. We have pictures, written documentation and witnesses of everything done. We sent them an email with an attached copy of the invoice that states in detail all the work the installed did along with that we explained how much damage he did when he worked on and rewired the electrical. Warehouse Discount Center said that there was nothing they could do for us. We told them that we are going to file a lawsuit for the damages. They said go ahead.List of damages and replacements:$360.00 Electrical work (fixed wiring and added new parts that are up to code)$1,299.00 refrigerator (with free delivery) $686.68 Dishwasher (not including install)$210.99 Garbage disposal (including install)Total asking for price:$2,556.67Desired Settlement: We need them to pay the damages in total of $2,556.67

On 5/29/2015, Mr. J[redacted] provided WDC with a receipt from Fasco Electric that is NOT dated and contains a list of electrical repairs that were done to his home. The dishwasher was installed over a year ago and we are just now being notified about this issue.

Michelle Moir of Warehouse Discount advised Mr. J[redacted] on 6/2/2015 to contact the installer directly, given the installer is not employed or affiliated with Warehouse Discount Center. The customer has been insisting the installer caused damage to the electrical wiring in his home. If this is the case, the complaint and any legal action should be taken up with the installer directly, not Warehouse Discount Center.

Again, Mr. J[redacted] will need to contact the installer directly.

Again, please note WDC did not collect any monies from Mr. J[redacted] for the install. He has not been able to provide a name of the person he spoke with at our Burbank location or any written proof from WDC stating we would pay for damages. WDC only provides, in writing, guaranteed reimbursement for damages, etc., not via telephone--Mr. J[redacted] does not have proof of either.

According to a statement from the installer, Mr. J[redacted] seemed to have several existing electrical problems before the dishwasher was installed. He will need to contact the contractor who did the install. WDC is not affiliated with this installer.

I am rejecting this response because:

Attached please find the proof I sent WDC before and I am sending again. I did provided written proof of the contract with WDC multiple times, It states that monies were exchange,

that they would be installing the dishwasher. It clearly states on the page, “

INSTALL ASAP CALL WHEN IN. COD $50 DEAL PER PETEB INSTALL AND PARTS.”

Therefore WDC is lying

again.

I have provided plenty of proof for WDC and I will be providing it to the

courts in Los Angeles if they don't take responsibility for their damages to my

kitchen. There were no issues or problems with my kitchen before the installer

installed the dishwasher. I have witnesses and proof of this.

The WDC company has

several complains online where they have done similar things to other

customers. My family is one of many families they have done this to but I will

not just let them get away with this illegal activity. This is their last

chance. If they refuse to make this right then I will be taking legal action

against their company this week.

Review: purchase a gas stove that was shipped damaged, they say truck line damaged the stove, the truck line says they pick it up damaged i'am caught in the middle with damaged stove.Desired Settlement: ship another stove and pick up the damaged one

Review: Supposed manager terry carlton was extraordinarily difficult to reach to explore replacement of frig. Cavalier attitude and failed to return calls, did not / has not replaced refrigerator. He is one excuse away from his next lame excuse. I paid $3800 for a defective refrigerator that I have twice sought to be repaired but wdc - terry carlton in particular said aposrefuse serviceapos. Product was represented to be something it is not - it is defective and wdc refuses to replace itDesired Settlement: Replace refrigerator immediately with brand new unit

Review: On 7/19/13 I purchased an Electrolux Refrigerator from Warehouse Discount Center in Chatsworth. On 7/23/13 it was delivered. Everything appeared okay. The only thing we could not check was the Ice Dispenser as it takes 24 hours before it may have enough ice to work. After two or three days it would not dispense ice, only water. I called to complain but Warehouse Discount Center said they can not handle a the call because they no longer had a Manager at heir location. (I had actully bought it from the manager)They refered me to the Manager, "John" at their Agoura Hills location.He took my call & wanted me to get it serviced. I told him the service company would not be able to make a service call for five days & that was unacceptable. I said I want to return it. He said he would call me right back. He never did. The service company called & offered me the same date for a service call, on the following Friday. Out of frustation I scheduled the service but still wanted to return it beforre the service.The next day I called back to speak to "John" & they said he would call me back. He never did. Thursday eve the service company called to reschedule the service as they could not make it on Friday, we moved to Monday, Aug 5th!I again called "John" but could only leave a message. I then called the Chatsworth office & explained the situation. They said they would have someone call me the next morning "for sure". No one ever called!Monday the service tech came & said yep, it's defective. I will have to order a new part. It will now take nearly 2 more weeks to get the part.I again called "John" and left message. No one will return my call.Also, the handle on the Freezer door is defective.Desired Settlement: At first I wanted a replacement. Now I only want a full refund. I no longer want to own a Electrolux, especially purchased from Warehouse Discount Center.

Review: I WAS SOLD A BROKEN RANGE HOOD FOR $720.00 . THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO USE THE HOOD THE BUTTONS BROKE AND FELL BACK INTO THE HOOD. Review: On May 23rd I purchased couple of appliances including refrigerator, Dish washer, washer and dryer and a stove. The sales person added an extra item and charge me for that item when I noticed the mistake I asked her to return the item and refund the money back to my credit car. She said she did and gave me a new invoice that shows the negative balance that was supposed to be credited back to my card. the amount was for $796.77. There are two more adjustments one for $268 on May 26th and one for $675.05 on June 27th. I was told these two credits as well as the first one is refunded back to my credit card and I have multiple emails from the sales person confirming that she has credited the refund to my card. After almost two months of the incident I still haven't received my refunds and when I contact the sales person she says corporate office is handling it and I can't make any comment on this issue. I tried to contact the corporate office but I was placed on long holds and told I will get a call which never happened. I am very desperate at this time and don't know what else I can do to get my money back.Desired Settlement: I need the refunds that were supposed to be credited back to my credit card:1) $796.772) $268.003) $675.05Total refund of $1739.82 back to my GE credit card.

WDC would like to apologize to Mr. [redacted] for our error and the inconvenience this has caused him. After our accounting department completed an investigation into Mr. [redacted]'s account, a check in the amount of $684.87 was mailed to the customer on July 11, 2014, and the balance of $1,064.78 was credited to his credit card on July 17, 2014.

Review: I purchase a chest freezer from this store (Frigidaire Model # FFFC22M6QW). The Rep provided me with a spec sheet of the freezer which is online and easy to find. The specs were (Hight 34-3/8") (width 73-1/4") (depth 29-1/2"). I specifically asked the rep to make sure that the depth is 29-1/2" and he said that if that is what the spec sheet from manufacturer is showing so it is.When I received the freezer and opened it to measure it was only 27-1/2" and did not except the merchandise and returned it, since I had to have a 29-1/2" as specified in the drawing.Now the merchant is charging me a 25% restocking fee for a product that was not delivered correctly. The product that was advertised was different than the one I received.Desired Settlement: They retained $190.74 (25%) restocking fee which has to be reimbursed to me.

Review: I purchased an over the oven microwave on Saturday Sept. 21. On the purchase agreement it has the payment is listed as 09/21/2013. We have yet to receive any piece of appliance. We were also told that an installer would set up an appointment with us on Monday 09/23/2013. We have not heard from anyone. My wife and I have called the business several times and always get the run-around. The salesman isn't here today, or he's on break, etc.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the money refunded in full back to my VISA on which it was charged. I no longer wish to deal with sales people that lie!

The Sales Associate spoke to the customer on September 30, 2013, and cancelled the order. A credit has been issued, and it will reflect on the cardholders account within 3 to 5 business days.
