Review: I was contacted a while ago by wedding.com and was assured that if I signed up under The Vendor Category - Caterers as a "Bartender" that I would be able to "Bid" for events as a "Bartender". However, The company "wedding.com" does not send me anything for "Bartenders" ONLY for Caterers. I am NOT a Caterer. Then when I asked for a clear cut answer to "How do I find out if the "Happy Couple" will be needing a "BARTENDER" I was told to "Reach Out to the Bride" and ask the question, "Will you need a bartender or are you just looking for a Caterer? No problem."

Well, the problem is they lied I can NOT just reach out to the Bride and ask a question: I have to use 3 Credits (The equivalent to $5.01) to ask the question, "Do you actually NEED a Bartender?" If they do NOT need a Bartender; I am out $5.01 for EACH time I ask the QUESTION, "Do you actually NEED a Bartender?"

I feel this is out right theft. Their site is not designed to assist the vendors looking for work it is designed to take the hard earned money out of their pockets.Desired Settlement: I Paid $18.00 for I don't even remember how many credits. But, I want my $18.00 refunded to me.

Response:

We have refunded back your credits and a full refund. Bartending is not a category we offer and I am sorry this was not made clear to you.

Review: I ordered from this company in September, 2014. They had a plan where you could buy individual credits to submit a bid for a wedding service. I attempted to buy another set of credits on November 7, 2014. The company changed their system.

I did read their terms and conditions, but the way the website billing is worded, is a little deceiving. Needless to say I was charged $119.94 plus overdraft fees. I am filing a complaint because:

1. There is no confirmation screen after you select a drop down option, so you know you are being charged more money, that is easy to understand. Seems like it's missing some key wording.

2. I do not remember seeing anywhere on the website, nor in my vendor communication, that the billing practice is not as flexible, or has changed.

3. Customer service responded by saying, "Don't worry about it. You will book a job sooner or later."

4. The terms and conditions state: "Vendor must cancel membership before it renews each month in order to avoid billing of the next month's membership fees to Payment Method. Vendor can cancel by sending an email to [redacted] to cancel at any time. Solutions will bill the monthly membership fee to the Payment Method provided during registration (or to a different Payment Method if Vendor changes account information)." Well this is not true because you are not paying month to month, you are paying one lump sum for 6 months. I was told I had to wait until May 7, 2015 before I could terminate.

5. The package that you purchase comes with all these bells and whistles, but they offer no analytic data to track your results. This company is a little deceptive. I am very displeased with the whole service. Desired Settlement: I want a refund of my $119.94 charges. I also want them to make proper notification they the company billing practices have changed. You will be paying for 6 months at a time.

Review: I signed up for a subscription to advertise my business on the site, and did not realize that I was locked in to a full year,

with monthly fee of 49.99

I asked to be set free of the full year and was told I cannot get a termination of the full year, only that the subscription would not be renewed after a full year (600.00) doll ars!!Desired Settlement: I would like to simply be free of the one year obligation and close my account, not asking for a refund of services already provided

Response:

Hi [redacted],I'm sorry you have not yet had success on the site. We will go ahead and cancel the contract.

Review: When I signed up, in June of this year (2014), I paid $119.94 for the promise of unlimited access to couples seeking wedding vendors on Wedding.com. I recently logged in to find that I am now required to pay an additional credit fee in order to contact these couples. This is unacceptable, as there was no previous notice given regarding these changes. I was only made aware once I logged in, after the changes had already been implemented. Furthermore, even if the changes were made known prior, this is not what I signed up and paid for.As I have not yet reached the end of my paid 6 month subscription, I requested that they honor their promise of the ability to contact an unlimited amount of couples, through the end of the subscription. I also requested that they honor the promise that once the 6 month subscription ends, another 6 months of unlimited access will be given free of charge if no weddings were booked through their site in the first 6 months.Desired Settlement: I request that the company honor the original agreement of my remaining subscription; with unlimited contact to couples seeking wedding vendors (plus the additional 6 months I was promised if I did not book any clients from the site during the first 6 months). After this time, I would gladly abide by the new credit system. But as this time, I want the unlimited access I was promised. If this request is not granted, I hereby finally and formally request a full refund, in the total of $119.94.

Regards,

Review: Wedding.com claims to offer quality, viable leads to wedding vendors. We signed up with them in December 2015, have contacted well over 100 leads with less than 5 responses. We were surprised that most of the leads are for 2017 and 2018 and we think that these might be fake leads.

I have contacted them by email and phone and no response from the company. I am requesting a refund for the time I have been with the company and requesting that I not be charged further. The amounts are $9.99 for December 2015, $44.99 for January 2016 and $44.99 for February 2016.

I do not need an apology, I am not opening to continuing using this service that has wasted a lot of time. I simply want a refund and to put this behind us.

Thank you for your help.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund for the time I have been with the company and requesting that I not be charged further. The amounts are $9.99 for December 2015, $44.99 for January 2016 and $44.99 for February 2016.
