After reading the response from WDS, it is very clear to me that they do not understand my problem. I have been wearing dentures for 20 years and I am fully aware of what they feel like and what there capabilities are.  Furthermore,  I called WDS and was referred to another site  location located in 9th street. There I was told that the new dentures which were made the location in 24th street were not done correctly.  I would like to have new dentures made so that I could eat without pain.

balance, his monthly installment inadvertently was changed. The monthly installment was updated however patient share was not paid in full. As a gesture of goodwill and in the interest of patient satisfaction, the patient share was reduced and the lower balance was honored. An itemized statement has been sent to the patient reflecting the charges for services performed, payments received and all adjustments and credits applied to his account. Patient remains financially responsible for the remaining balance.

However, as soon as the signed release is received by WDS, we will forward any pertinent information to the Revdex.com.

Western Dental processed a partial refund of 135 dollars. They still owe me 25 dollars. This case is NOT closed until I obtain my FULL refund. Apparently WD does not read their notes in the computer or my responses in these emails.

Per grievance resolution letter dated October 18, 2012 patient was informed that a refund was not warranted. Patient was also informed that if she would have worn her last aligner (#8) it would have prevented any such movement.  The Committee also conclude that the transfer fee would be waived and should patient elected to proceed with this option, as a good will gesture, the total orthodontic fee would be reduced by $400.00. Patient did not returned for a re-evaluation as stated in the resolution letter dated October 12. 2012.Please note that the last time the patient was seen was on 5/10/12 (25 months ago), therefore patient's dental condition has changed.  Due to the extended absence from orthodontic treatment and monitoring, WDS is unable to know patients, current condition with treatment needs.  A continuation of treatment at no cost is not warranted.  Patient's will be financially responsible if she decides to proceed with treatment.

noted that upon review and adjudication of the claim submitted to the patient’s dental plan it was determined that the patient’s responsibility and treatment costs were greater than the amount originally estimated by the dental office. As a result, the patient share was adjusted and billing statements were mailed to the patient. However, in the interest of patient satisfaction WDS has agreed to honor the originally estimated patient share and accept the monies received to date as payment in full. The patient’s account has been adjusted to zero and her contract is now closed. We sincerely regret any inconvenience that this may have caused the patient. WDS has reached out to the patient directly to provide our resolution to her concerns.

Please re-open the complaint, I did respond to you on your last email, stating that they contacted me, but no one has followed up and the work is still incomplete. They told me that they would schedule me to continue the unfinished service, no one from Western Dental has called back since.

submitted for the amount of $226.00.  Refund will be finalized by 11/221/14.  The refund will be processed and patient will reflect a credit back to his credit card no later than 11/22/14.

The reason I am denying this response to my
current situation is because the initial problem was regarding tooth #19 and
this company has not said anything about that. Also I refuse to receive services from this office again because this is where my problem has originated
and I have received a full evaluation from Capital Village Dental in Rancho
Cordova, there response after evaluation shows there is a problem with teeth
#19, #2, #3, and the filling missing in #18 which are all the teeth worked on
by the Western Dental provider. Tooth #2 and #3 need the fillings replaced
because the WD provider left it spaced so everything is getting caught in the
space and the cannot do the fillings over because my insurance already paid to
WD. Tooth #19, Now needs a full crown because the WD provider apparently
drilled into the nerve which caused severe pain to my whole left side of my
face, then was sent to RC Dental to get a root canal. RC Dental was the
provider who advised me that WD provider had drilled to close to the nerve causing
the pain was having. What I am looking to get out of this specific complaint is to have the WD provider pay for the damages done and the corrections also.

("WDS") is in receipt of the Revdex.com's inquiry regarding this case.Due to patient's dental condition it was necessary to refer patient to a specialist without compromising his current dental condition.  Since patient insists that the Sulcular Irrigation was not done, patient was asked to return to the office to have it completed, patient has refused to return to the office.  An adjustment is not warranted and patient will remain financially responsible for the remaining balance. Western Dental sincerely apologizes for any dissatisfaction and any inconvenience that this matter may have caused patient.
