Please, let us not change topic. My main point is that I was mislead by employees of Berkeley Western Dental to sign that document with the estimated price. They told me repeatedly that I will not have to pay for these service out of pocket. Nurse even told me that I have an "excellent" insurance that will cover everything. What is written in the small print of the document I signed is irrelevant.

They have continued to call me and ask for payment.  I told them the situation and requested any advanced payments made to be applied ot to please add 1 payment to end of contract. They are unwilling to help. I contacted them in advance and there service is horrible and harassing.

("WDS") appreciates the opportunity to address the concerns filed by the patient with the Business Bureau.In the initial complaint there was no mentioned of any late fees or balance disputes.  The initial complaint was to address phone calls from WDS in regards to appointment or payment reminders. The complaint was addressed for the accounts that patient is responsible for.  Please note that it is our company policy to protect member information.  Due to HIPPA regulations we are unable to disclose any information on the accounts in mention due to both patients being over 18 years old.  [redacted] and [redacted] are listed as responsible parties on their own accounts. Should patients provide us written authorization to disclose any information, any pertinent information will be disclosed to patient's mother.In the meantime, both patients, [redacted] and [redacted], can contact our Corporate office and request that the number they listed be removed, or to address any fees in question pertaining to their accounts.

Western Dental Services, Inc. ("WDS") is in receipt of the Revdex.com's inquiry regarding this case.  Western Dental sincerely apologizes for any customer service that patient received and failed to meet her expectations. Late fee has been removed as a courtesy to the patient. ...

Patient was also contacted directly by a supervisor to arrange a payment plan with the patient, a voice mail was left with a direct contact person.   Patient is encouraged to contact the supervisor directly to coordinate a payment plan that will work best with the patient.  WDS is willing to work with the patient for the best possible outcome.

("WDS") is in receipt of the Revdex.com's inquiry regarding this case.  Western Dental sincerely apologizes for any customer Service that failed to meet patient expectations.  As a good token of amends WDS has agreed to move July installments to the end of her contract balance due to financial hardship. Patient was contacted directly to address her concerns and patient was satisfied with the resolution provided.  Patient was informed that her next payment is due on 8/5/15.

 I have read the response. I did ask for $15,000.00 but will settle for $8,000.00. I fear that this may be a lifelong hurt if I don't get compensated for pain and suffering. I am still suffering with these dentures. They are too small and too short. I don't want to go back to the same dentist. They might try to retaliate because of the initial complaint and hurt me more. I want to be compensated and go get me some more dentures that fit correctly and I will be able to eat with dentures that don't flap around even while they are SUPPOSED to be glued down. Please help me. I don't know where else to turn. If I don't get help this may be a lifelong suffering.

("WDS") appreciates the opportunity to address the concerns filed by the patient with the Business Bureau.Western Dental sincerely apologizes if there has been any confusion in regards to patient making a payment, in the initial complaint patient did not mentioned that a payment was made towards the account or that she was expecting a refund.  In the initial complaint patient disputed balance and account balance was addressed in the response. In reference to the special x-rays, these special x-rays (Panographic Film) were necessary in order to address patients current dental condition.  Patient was given a diagnosis in requiring Upper and Lower Dentures, and in order to determine if there was any bone loss or other dental factors that could jeopardize the placement of new partials.  therefore special x-rays (Panographic film) was required.  As noted on the previous response,  $79.00 is for treatment that was rendered and patient accepted and agreed to treatment per signed consent from patient.   In the initial complaint there was also no mention that patient requested an itemized statement, there is also no record that patient requested an itemized statement.  An itemized statement has attached for patient.  Patient was contacted directly on 5/7/15 to address the payment that she states was made.  Unfortunately, there was no answer and voicemail was full.  Patient may contact our Customer Service Department at 866-319-9409 to provide proof of payment.

I am really disappointed on them since they being not honest with us in all even they never give me that statement for this 114 dollars later on after paid off as  out of blue its full of crap seriouisly... since payments with 2041 dollars with 2nd treatment $478 dollars with down payment twice on both treatments and increased my payments even add few more months to 2 years to pay off since everything is paid in full as last payment was 103 dollars on January 2014 as they said I dont owe anything since I kept checking online  every time after paid the payments all the times its impossible I dont miss any payments in all over 2 years to pay off the balance. IMPOSSIBLE to MISS any. I am disagreed on this. UGH.  THey went 114 dollars to credit report without my knowledge without any warnings ...Even I did reported this to Credit Bureu agencies 3 of them and disputed it and The Credit rep told me they took care of it invegation all the issues then accepted my dispute then dismissed this 2 negative balances from Western Dental services. They knew they are wrong , need to stop harrasment for send me bills its all OVER now. They have to move on and let me go and leave me alone. dont ever go to credit report again or I will sue them for harassment.

Revdex.com, I just want to say that Western Dental Lied, I went back for adjustments after I got my lower denture at least 10 times after getting my new denture. I Also let them know every time that I went in there how unhappy I was,and the last time the Dr. Stated that perhaps I should consider implants. Since my last appointment I have gotten a new lower denture from Aspen Dental and they fit prefect, and I only had to go to4 visits and my denture is done and fits prefact.  As I Stated previously I want to be made hole again. I do not accept the resolve that Western Dental sent me and I will not be happy until they resolve my bill! If they are able to get away with ripping off there customers then why do we even have a Revdex.com.

("WDS") appreciates the opportunity to address the concerns filed by the patient with the Business Bureau.Insurance has been contacted and confirmed that patient has benefits, a claim is currently pending to be processed by the insurance company.  WDS is currently waiting to receive payment.  WDS is unable to determine if responsible party will have a remaining balance until claim is processed due to insurance becoming effective when treatment was already in processes.  Due to the pre-existing treatment the claim will be paid by the insurance company at a pro-rate amount.  Account was place on hold and no payment is expected from the responsible party until further notice.  Once claim is processed and paid WDS will determine if a refund is warranted and will be processed accordingly.  Western Dental sincerely apologizes for any dissatisfaction and inconvenience that this matter may have caused.

I called the number they provided and it is for the complaint department.  They only thing they would tell me is that it is being handled by the Manager at the local office.  When I call the number they gave me to the local office, it kept sending it right back to the Customer Care line, which is not the local office.  When I was finally able to get in touch with the local office, I was told that they do not even see a refund in the system.  Had to leave yet another message for the "manager" , which is like the 3 message that I had to leave.  This is totally unacceptable for a business to treat patients this way.  I NEED that refund ASAP so that I can get my temp crown replaced ASAP.

this is my rebutal  they said check was mailed out on the 26th of may it has been over a week and a half I personally think they are lieing about this

After further review of account is was noted that dentical paid for patient's exam under her dentical chart. therefore patient will not be held financially for the exam.  An additional refund of $25.00 will be processed to the patient.  Please allow 48 to 72 hours for refund to reflect back into patient's credit card.

to address her complaint. Responsible party was informed that her account was audited for services rendered only.  Responsible party was mailed an itemized statement reflecting all treatment completed, payments applied to account and any adjustment.  Responsible party was provided with remaining account balance and the fees per her insurance company were also reviewed.  Responsible party was informed that her account will be pulled from collections and will be scheduled for a payment plan starting 1/15/15.  Responsible party was satisfied with the resolution and agreed to make monthly installment.  Western Dental sincerely apologizes for any customer service that failed to meet her expectation.  and for any dissatisfaction and any inconvenience that this matter has caused her.
