Thank you for forwarding a copy of Mr. [redacted]s complaint, [redacted], regarding his siding. Westport just received your letter today so I apologize for the tardy response. Mr. [redacted] has reported standing nails and plumbing issues in the past those have been repaired and are no longer an issue....

Westport is also aware of the reported siding concerns Mr. [redacted] has. This problem was first reported to Westport in mid-December 2017. Westport had the siding reviewed following that report and closed the ticket after a review by its contractors. Subsequently Mr. [redacted] reported that he is still witnessing what he feels is excessive noise from the siding moving in the wind. From that request Westport scheduled its siding crews to go to Mr. [redacted]s on March 27, 2018 to review the installation of the siding and nails holding the siding to ensure it is installed properly. If adjustments need to be made they will be made at that time. With regards to extending any warranties that is not something that will be provided to Mr. [redacted].

to uphold its contractual obligation to finish the repair and yard installation. Shortly prior to closing a sink hole formed in the rear yard of the home Mr. [redacted] purchased. Some dirt has been delivered and worked in but more is needed and then the yard can be repaired and installed where needed. The problem has been and continues to be the amount of rain we have had. Despite 3 or 4 days of no rain at one point the sub surface has not had time to adequately dry to support the weight of the machinery needed to repair the yard. As soon as the weather permits Westport will be out to do the work. Westport will not pay Mr. [redacted] $5000 or purchase his home.

Westport-Homes response to our complaint is not acceptable. June 14, 2015 the man that des landscaping for Westport-Homes showed up to look at our back yard. He was shocked that Westport had built a house next to our house. He told us he wouldn't be able to get equipment in here to bring dirt and grade. So how do you bring in dirt and equipment to finish the grade and seed the yard so that a person can mow the yard without difficulty? If you can do this maybe we can come to an agreement. This house was built 2014 and no lawn was ever in place. I was here June 4 and the landscaper told me they couldn't finish the back because they needed dirt and Charlie never ordered it. It was dry here in May when we looked at the house.

Westport will be happy to come finish the final grade and seed of the yard and repair the downspout as mentioned in the last email. Westport is waiting for Mr. [redacted] to say it is ok to return to do this work. Westport never agreed to bring dirt in to the bottom of the hill. Westport said it would bring in dirt to finish filling the area that was a sink hole/eroded. Westport will not change the grade of the lot and never agreed to do so. That said, if there is an area on Mr. [redacted]'s lot that is holding water that is not beyond 15' from the rear of his home/in the tree line at the rear of the lot Westport will address it. From the chain of emails it would appear that Mr. [redacted] is expecting to have the contour of his yard changed and that is not going to happen nor was it ever agreed to as evidenced by the paper work sent in with Westport's last response. Please have the customer let Westport know if and when it is ok to finish the final grade, seed and straw. When staff is on site to do this work the customer can show the area of concern that he says is staying wet so that it can be addressed.

reinstall the yard the week of 8/8/16. Westport contacted the customer earlier today to let him know that the repair will be done yet this week and will call Tuesday 8/9/16 to confirm the specific day of the repair.
