Called Zenner & Ritter for a check of our air conditioning system Andrew, the service technician, arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and personable, and answered all my questions We have been happy with the service we have received from Z & R since they installed a new furnace and AC unit a few years ago

I had a problem with the furnace not kicking in and called for serviceThe technician was prompt, courteous, and efficientI also mentioned the difficulty with the filter slotChanging the filter was difficultThere were sharp edges from the sheet metal workThe technician had the same difficulties and couldn't remove the filter without tearing itI called Zenner and Ritter and asked to speak to a manager to see if this could be resolvedThe furnace was purchased and installed by Zenner and Ritter in I am waiting to hear from themWhen I do I will report on their determinationMy overall experience with the company is positiveI hope this issue is resolved in a way that allows me to remain so

Zenner & Ritter have been my go to guys for heating, cooling, and plumbing for many yearsRecently, I had a problem with our radiant floor which isn't a common heating/plumbing systemTheir representative (Gary) went beyond fixing the immediate problem, and found the underlying systemic issueHe was also very affable, didn't mind me looking over his shoulder, and, as a result, gave me a much better understanding of the overall system
This level of service has been the norm, not the exception, in my experience with Zenner&Ritter

I contacted Zenner & Ritter concerning a problem I was experiencing with
a boiler I had to turn the boiler off due to the sound that it was making so
my concern was how long would it be before it was fixed The technician
arrived within a few hours as promised He quickly diagnosed the problem
and had a replacement part on the truck so that the problem could be fixed
immediately The work area was left clean and the problem was resolved

On March 19,2014, we were told via email and a letter, that Zenner and Ritter had not replied to our
complaint of 01/23/We were also told via email from *** (03/19/2013): "The complaint closed
Unanswered today by our system but the complaint handler did leave a message today and will follow up
again tomorrowThis company is Accredited and agreed when they became Accredited to resolve
complaintsShould this complaint remain Unanswered they will be expelled by the Revdex.com and reported to the
media and their Revdex.com rating will dramatically dropHopefully instead we will have a response in the next
day or so."
In regards to the letter sent by *** (March26,2014): Message from Business:
Yes, we did sign a contract to receive a two-stage speeed high efficiency furnanceHowever, a couple of
days before the installation, the reception called to say the technicians were coming to install the wires for
whole house airconditioningThat was a very evident mistake, as we DID NOT order or purchase whole
house air-conditioningThe receptionist cancelled the technician visitWe purchased and had installed the
new furnance system based on what the technician told us about the ductwork
In December 2010, we did order and purchase ductwork as we were told that the existing ductwork was
insufficient,contrary to the statement "our new system would utilize the existing ductwork." (letter of
March 26,2014.) copy of work order enclosed
In January 2013, a gentleman came outHe said he was an owner and questioned many procedures that
were done by the businessWe spoke of topics including: a new humidifier, and new ductwork to the
second floorWe NEVER spoke of new airconditioning, supply line to the kitchen (that had been done
already), nor duct cleaningThe "owner" did question an air duct that was cut off to the kitchenWE
WERE NOT NOTIFIED, EITHER VERBALLY OR IN WRITTEN FORM, OF THE FINAL
OUTCOME OF THAT VISTISITWE WERE NEVER SENT THE "COMFORT AGREEMENT"

We did call the business on: December 12,as our filters were very dirty only after days of
replacing itWe were told that our furnance needed cleaningWe asked, specifically, as to the cost of
cleaning the furnanceWe were told around, by the phone receptionist, $and taxWe were NOT
told this was a service call
When the technician came out, he said that our furnace DID NOT need cleaningHe thought, perhaps.the
ducts needed cleaningWe asked the technician if the cost of the "service call/furnance cleaning" would go
towards the duct cleaningHe said he did not know but we should give it a tryWe were NEVER told by
the owner of the business, or the phone receptionist, that our cost of the "service call/furnance cleaning"
would go to our cost of duct cleaning
You have received our letter of complaint and all the emails that transpired between the owner of the
company and usTHE OWNER OF THE BUSINESS DID NOT RESPOND TO OUR EMAILS AND
DID NOT RESPOND TO YOUR LETTER DATED MARCH 19,It is obvious, that the owner of
the business plans on NOT responding
We sincerely appreciate your efforts, although unfortunately, we will never again do business based on the
Revdex.com advertisement nor Revdex.com's recommendation of a business
We would appreciate that this complaint be settled by receiving a check, in full, for
the payment we made on 12/12/

Technician was on time and efficient in giving our generator a tune up Found a spider nest that prohibited the machine from starting He cleaned it out and got us up and running again

Had issue with a/c - compressor stopped working Called Zenner & Ritter after hours Call service answered and forwarded my call to available technician Technician called back within a couple of minutes and was able to come out asapTechnician diagnosed the problem as a blown capacitor He was able to get me up and running with a temporary unit until he could get a proper replacement the following dayGreat customer service Great response time Very professional
