In regards to the credit card on the account we did speak with
her on 7/and we updated her credit card as
directedDuring that call a $
deposit was charged to that card as she requestedThe customer again spoke
with us on 7/and informed us that we would not be able to deliver the empty
unit to her storage facility so we instead scheduled an empty unit to be set
out for her to load at our facility on 7/Without a delivery or pickup
attempted on the origin side of the customer's move the price was reduced by

declined on 7/and 7/and because of that her transport of the unit could
be delayedWe attempted to charge the remaining balance again on 7/and the
payment was accepted so at that point we were able to begin our business day
standard transport time of the unit from San Marcos, CA to Foxborough, MAWe
make every effort to ensure that the customer is aware of the business day
transit time by highlighting it in our Welcome Packet that each customer
receives when they book their order with usThe customer was also informed of
the business day transit time during her intro call with us on 6/ The
delay in payment forced the delivery of the unit to be moved from 8/back to
8/The customer returned our call from 7/on 8/and at that time she was
informed that the unit was in transport status and that the soonest we could
deliver the unit would be 8/The customer called us on 8/and pushed the
delivery from 8/to 8/which would cause her to incur a rental chargeWe
agreed to waive the $rental charge as a courtesy to the customerAfter
receiving the Revdex.com complaint we reached out to the customer twice on 8/and
left Voicemails to see if there was anything further we could do for the

I am rejecting this response because:
I called the business twice to cancel prior to their loading a storage container onto a truck for delivery to my address. They DID charge me, and it was a lot ($400!). They did NOT refund the $voluntarily. After I cancelled, they loaded a storage unit onto a truck and attempted to deliver it to my address, knowing that I would not be there to sign for it, pursuant to my previous cancellation calls, which both were prior to their loading the storage container onto the truck for delivery. As noted, they did not refund the $voluntarily. I had to dispute the charge through *** ***. I waited several weeks prior to disputing the charge, because I wanted to allow the company time to do the right thing, but they never refunded the amount voluntarily. If I had used any other credit card, other than *** ***, any other lender would have hit me with serious bank fees for the disputed charge

It had nothing to do with the packing, because I hired a professional company to pack the contents in the container, I was informed that everything would be covered with the $10,insurance that was purchased. I still say that this company is advertising there business, I bet the next time I will use other means. You have lost my business and my referrals to anyone that may need your service. customer to confirm cancellation and refund his card the reservation deposit
We did not charge this customer for any local deliveriesAfter the multiple
attempts of reaching *** ***, we refunded his card on May 13th and
sent a confirmation emailWe have left multiple voicemails to confirm this and
requesting this customer take down his online posts. Everything should be

customer is correct, on
average our units hold around 3 to 4 rooms of furniture. This is strictly an
average, we have seen instances where our units can only handle one room of
furniture or ten rooms of furniture depending on the amount items are in each
room. We do realize moving can be very stressful and have spoken to [redacted] to
try and ensure she has a positive experience with PACK-RAT. [redacted] has
accepted our proposal.

So I went through the process of figuring out my move. Between PODS, 1800 PackRat and traditional movers. Pack rat was the cheapest, I see why. they showed up, on time dropped off two containers. I took 3 days to load and they came and picked them up. I relocated about 500 miles away. The dropped off on time and all was still well. Then all hell broke lose. The driver came to pick up the containers. I looked out my window and noticed that he was driving in my neighbors yard to Pick up the container???? Wait what??? Not only is he in their yard he is just destroying their yard. I went out to ask him why he was in the neighbors yard and all he replied was relax. So as I am making friends fast in the neighborhood I was kind of in disbelief. I thought ok fine. I will repair the damage and apologize profusely to my neighbor and just deal with it. Then he (same driver) comes back to get the second container. AGAIN in neighbors yard. And this container is a good 20 feet away from their yard. An as I go out to ask what the heck I notice he is putting down the braces in my asphalt driveway causing big dents. And in his just being a jerk he hit the container and pushed it about 2 feet across the drive causing big scrapes and chipping the cement apron of the garage. So have to say now I am quite upset. I immediately call the number I have and ask to speak to a manager and am told they will call me immediately as they have to get the local manager to call me. I go out to ask the guy what the heck and take pics and he looks at me and I quote. He says " you b[redacted] so much you should have been a woman". Again wait what???? I call back to the number I have pretty much irate. And again am told they will call me very shortly and ask me to file a damage claim in the mean time which I do. No call back that day. No call the next day. Not until the 3rd day do I get a call back from the local manager, btw I was calling daily to find out why no one would return my call. The regional begins to explain he was out of the office., great I am glad there is only one person that is able to provide any level of customer service at this place. He assures me that they way take care of me and fix the issues since I filed a claim. Well it has been over a month and the claims dept says they are trying to get someone to come out?? Really?? Since I had been there for about a week and my neighbors yard was immaculate I decided to address their grass and mine as well, heck I already submitted the pics of the tore up yard so I am good right? I prepared and smoothed out the area and planted and tended to grass for about 3 weeks to make some amends with my neighbors as I was not getting far with 1800 pack rat. Then about 5 weeks after the issue and repeated emails asking what's going on I get back from them sorry there is minimal damage to the grass( no kidding I fixed it and told you I fixed it) and according to my contract they are not responsible for damage to driveways. Wait even if your driver is a mn and does it on purpose??? To top it off they offered me $200 to settle and in doing so I sign away my rights to post negative feedback against them or pursue this further. As you can see I chose to pass on this. What a bunch of low brow clowns. Absolutely unprofessional and unwilling to take accountability for their actions. If using containers go with PODS. In hindsight they have much better reviews and I now have spoken to several who have used them and they were very satisfied. Spend the extra cash stay away from this Mickey Mouse outfit.

Unfortunately, we had some
equipment failure in our Sharon, MA warehouse that took some time to resolve.
We apologized and provided a customer satisfaction credit for their
inconvenience. If there is anything we may do to assist, please let us know and

10173502.Although the information they submitted to your company is wildly incorrect and not factual as to the events that occurred between us and all of Pack Rat's representatives we would like to close this complaint and consider it resolved.
Pack-Rat
has finally reached out to us directly and offered 100% of our money back due to their false business representation.Thank you very
much for you assistants, as I do not believe the company would have
tried to resolve their wrong doing without the intervention of the
Revdex.com. 
At this time I would like this email to serve as notification of my complaint being closed.
Thank you for your time and help in resolving my issues with this business.
