112 Auto Sales Reviews (25)

Review: I went to 112 auto sales, looking for a car. the salesman nick showed me a car. a 2002 toyaota corrola. I asked the price and told me he would reduce it down to $5,000. I left $1000 deposit with them. I went back the next day to complete the paper work. I read the contract and was ok with the billing and singed. after I read and signed the documents about 30 pages. The man said we made a mistake on your name we have to do it again brought out another sheet of papers and saying there the same ones. my fault for trusting them. when I take a look at the documents they had revised the contract with outlandish pricing rasing the a.p.r rate to almost 30% the day I got the car they locked the hood and was unable to open or take care of the engine. when they showed me the car fax it was clean. the car suspension felt very weary. but could not see due to the lock that was placed in the hood.I took pictures and videos of everything. the car had been modified and traces that had been underwater. I went to go and speak with the owners and try to find a solution to the problem and the guy came up and said nope were repossesing

the car and u don't get nothing back. I only had the car for a couple of daysDesired Settlement: I would like my downpayment back, I had the car for a couple of days so I would not mind if there was a fee, but taking the car and the downpayment and saying that they reposssed the car and I have to pay them seems no where near right

Response:

Tell us why here...[redacted] sale price of the vehicle that he agreed to was $6,495. He was offered

a service contract which he elected to

purchase for $1,250. The finance company that approved him requires full

coverage insurance which [redacted] said he could not find affordable full

coverage. The dealership offered him a Debt Cancelation policy that is accepted

by the finance company. The debt Cancelation would payoff the loan in the event

of any type of total loss. The cost of the debt cancelation for the term of the

loan was $1,560 which [redacted]

elected to purchase. As for the condition of the vehicle we stand by our

AutoCheck report which displays a vehicle score of 68 as opposed to similar

vehicles that scored between 14-37 and no structural or water damage. No lock

was put on the hood of the car!Furthermore, [redacted] name was misspelled, which was

the only change made to his documents. This can be supported by our secure

document storage which saves all documents created. This is a case of buyer’s remorse. Unfortunately, you

can’t purchase a vehicle on 10/**/2015 and bring it back 10/**/2015 because you

don’t like it.

Review: I contacted this business via email (along with many other used car dealers) for some basic information. I decided not to use the business due to the high pressure and constant emails I received from them soliciting business.

On 3/**/14 I received another email from [redacted] stating that he needs more information for my loan application, and we are now in the "final phases of loan approval" and I should not apply elsewhere or it would negatively impact my credit.

I have NEVER been to this business, nor have I EVER supplied them with detailed information in order to process a loan. I am very concerned from the email I received that my information has been stolen. This company should be investigated for deceptive business practices and possible identity theft.Desired Settlement: I would like a written confirmation from the business that they have not applied me for a loan that I never came in for, never authorized, and never supplied them with my personal information.

Response:

As stated in our earlier email that we sent about 2 weeks ago and sent documentation to support what we said we did not pull her credit if she is that concerned about us pulling her credit then she needs to go on line and pull her own credit to see that we did not pull her credit.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

AS previously stated, the business sent me an email after I didn't respond to their solicitations stating that they "were in the final phases of loan approval." This is misleading and concerning for a customer who has never done business with them, and has no intention of doing so.

Why should I, as a consumer, have to go online and pay for my own credit report because a business made false and misleading statements in an email to me?

My complaint stands as is, the business practices deceptive and misleading advertising.

In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

Sincerely,

Review: under used car buyers bill of rights used car lemon law, general business law section [redacted] states if your car is out of service to repair a problem for a total of 15 days or more during the warranty period, you are entitled to return the car, and receive a refund of the purchase price or all payments made under your lease contract car has transmission problems sounds like it can go any day now and has been to there repair shop multiple times its like they just put band aids on problems whether they heal they don't care. soon as they sold it to me car was turn in on n off bad battery the first day I left with car they replaced it catalyst converter bad thy charged me on towealmost a hundred for the train problem with no reimbursement bad suspension and struts I replaced no covered by warranty fuel pump had to be towed and fixed I don't want to stick around on this over 10,000 purchase when the problems are going to cost me the same price they swindled me im only 18 and a young female whom they sought they could take advantage of and I had no credit.Desired Settlement: I've had the car only about to be 6 months car has so many problems that cost more than the down payment they over charged me over 10,000 dollars on a used 2000 vehicle which already has damage on it so you can obviously see it was in a prior accident they did not go over any pricing with me did not even give me any paper with pricing to go home with to make sure this purchase was right for me car every other weak in and out shop I just want my down payment of 750.00 dollars back even though I've paid over 2000 already on vehicle and them to take the vehicle back with no repossessions they haven't even contacted me on the arbitration I rquestd and got notarized so they have to respond

Review: I purchased a vehicle in January of 2015 from 112 auto sales group i[redacted]. I purchased a black 2007 Lincoln mkz with approximately 97k miles from a salesman that goes by the name [redacted]. With the final sale of the vehicle, it requires a monthly payment as with any car with a loan. Within the first month of having the vehicle, the engine blew, and the car was taken back to the location, where it stayed there for a month and a week to be repaired. During this time, I had to locate the auto group's mechanic in order to have the vehicle taken back to the 112 location. Also during this time, the salesman [redacted], advised, that it was not his responsibility to know where my vehicle was, when I would call to inquire. I experienced, multiple "accidental" calls ended/lost, a lot of time on hold, and much of my time daily used in trying to find any information on my vehicle. when I got the vehicle back again, I drove the vehicle for about 4 weeks, before the transmission went, which leaves me now, with no vehicle again. When I call now, my car was sent to a mechanic, and transmission location, but I still don't have my car. NObody has the correct information, I still don't have a car, I am a father, and need my car to get to work, to get my daughter to appts and drs visits, and the lack of communication and lack of concern on the 112 auto groups behalf is quite frustrating. The lack of professionalism on the part of [redacted] at the salesgroup is also quite frustrating. I've had the vehicle for 4 months and have driven it about 6 weeks. It was important enough for his concern when I was purchasing the vehicle, it should be just as important for me the customer, to be completely satisfied, and have a great experience. No customer should have to deal with this type of service, especially when I am required to make my payments every month and on time. I expect correct information when I call and current information as well. [redacted] should not be any salesperson at any car dealership.Desired Settlement: I would like to have all money invested in this car, including the monthly payments I continue to pay even without a car, refunded to me. I would rather take my business somewhere where I am appreciated and valued as a customer. In the 4 months time that I've had the vehicle, I have not even been able to enjoy it. I believe that this vehicle is one that should never been sold, especially since the engine and transmission has both gone in the little bit of time I've had the car

Horrible place to get a vehicle. Sold me a truck with a motor that blew within a month of having it and replaced it with another truck that the engine blew also within a month of owning it. Two other people I know also bought vehicles from them and between them have had 5 blown motors. They are selling junk vehicles and then replacing the blown motors with junk motors again!!
