was told we had a home loan and would be working with company to resolve credit issues but they say we don't have a home loan after sending 1688.00my wife and I were talking to [redacted] which is a sister company to 180 consultants the man we spoke to was [redacted] he took our info. and told us we qualified for loan up to 30000.00 with [redacted] I then asked him what our payments would be and he said they would be 177.00 per month for the next 20 yrs and we had to pay 180 consultants another 68.00 a month for 1 year and upon the loan we would be working with their sister company 180 consultants to build our credit and that they needed us to send them 1688.00 for closing and title search in which we would get 600.00 back after closing we sent them what they asked for the only thing we got back from them was a folder from 180 consultants with a welcome letter and a questionnaire asking how we would like to be called nothing to do with loan when we called they told us to watch video they sent to my email we did and it had nothing to do with repairing credit it was talking about investing in property and what different terms meant for applying for loans for investors when we asked 180 consultants about it they simply said we didn't have the loan and when we tried to get hold of mr. black 180 consultants would call us back and say you cant talk to [redacted] anymore only to them so when we asked 180 consultants to send our money back they refused saying they were going to try and get us a loan in the future which was not what they had told us from the beginning we need our money to pursue other options for our home loan now not in the future future means 1 week 2 weeks a month or years down the line we don't have that kind of time and to be lied to like this is not acceptable from a company Desired Settlementthe settlement that we want from this company is the application fee of 200 for both me and my wife and the 1688.00 they charged us for closing fees and title search that was never done and the 20.00 it cost us to have the money wired from my account to bank of America in which the bank says does not exist Business Response A Consultant talked with Mr. [redacted] on October 6th were she went over the logistics of our company. Mr. [redacted] sent the fee for the homeowners program prior to October 10th when he signed his agreement with 180Consultant. The [redacted]'s were aware of our services. Its only been a little over a month since the [redacted]'s have been with 180 and to date we have not received paycheck stubs and other financial documents requested. The [redacted]'s fail to do their part as we are still open to assisting them.Consumer Response We were told that the money we sent was for the closing cost and fees for the closing of the loan we were suppose to get when we called and talked with 180 consultants they aid we had no such loan and that we were not getting any loan til we were through with their program which is not what we were told from the beginning since then we have lost our home that we were trying to get the loan for and are now living in a apt. Complex had we been told everything from the beginning we would have sought out other means for the loan 2000 dollars would have been a good down payment for someplace that would have helped us we are not happy with the way u do business and would appreciate our money back if u refuse then we have no other choice than take you to court this is no way to do business you don't say you can save someone's house and take their money and then not help them we told you our time frame and you said no problem well guess what there's a big problem we have no home because of y'all so you need to make this right and send us our money back after all you did say if we can't help you we will refund your money well you didn't help we lost our home because we put our trust in you thank for nothing

I have on going charges on my account not autherised for 66.88 monthly and a refund that has not been returned for 1800.oo all numbers disconectedi was supposed to have a loan that was garunteed. I deposited 1800 on escrow account to complete loan and for the last 5 months I have not been able to contact anyone at the company by phone or email. I have attempted to recontact them and emails are returned and numbers I have for them are disconnected. I have been trying for the last 4 months to stop a recurring withdraw from my bank for 66.88 and still they take it out. I have also requested a refund of the monies that is suppose for be in escrow but again now one has returned my countless calls and emails. Now all communications from 180consultant are any good. numbers are disconnected and emails are returned as though the domain no longer exists I have beed dealing with this since April 2014. The 1800.00 was deposited in April 28 2014 in a [redacted]Desired SettlementI want a refund of the 1800.00 plus all the months I have not been able to contact anyone at the company with is 6 months at 66.88 as of March 2015.I want all deductions from my account terminated immediately

I have been trying to get my money back from them. will not return e-mails or phone calls. In June I called for their help in saving my house. The foreclosure date was July 9, 2014. I sent a wire transfer for $2488.00 to them in good faith. They never helped us and the house went up for auction. They also have taken 3 payments of $66.88 for credit counseling which we are not doing or have been given any details about. I sent a letter and faxed the same letter on August 25, 2014 requesting our money back. Since then I have heard nothing. As of today they took another $66.88 out of the account after they said would stop it Desired SettlementI want our Money back. They did nothing to help us and we lost the house. I want back the $2488.00 and the 3 payments of $66.88. It also cost us $30.00 to have the money transferred.

Complaint180 was suppose to be helping us with a home equity loan, basically told us we had the loan, & to send $1700 for closing & appraisal, etc. No contactafter we sent them almost 1700. we never hardly could get in touch with them, we also had to get our credit scores set up with [redacted] as their request, pay for videos once a month, that were close to 70 a month, did everything they required, and haven't received any of their promises. we would like to have a refund, but cant even call them now, cause their number is disconnectedDesired Settlementwe would like to have our money they stole from us

Said I was approved for mortgage paid their fee. And will not answer phone or contact me.This company said I was approved for a 60/90 day to closing loan and said to deposit 2,444.00 into escrow. So I did they also want two pay stubs and 2 yrs prior tax return I also provided this to them. They than said I had to pay some collections off so I paid all but two collections off. I told them I had until Septembe 23,2014 TO CLOSE BECAUSE WE HAD A COURT JUDGEMENT I have called over 2000 times leaving messages and emails daily they refuse to call me back I have spent hours pressing redial and the only thing you get is a voicemail. [redacted] is who had been talking g to me and promised we would close. Now as of today I'm being evicted from my home and land contract is being dissolved thanks to this company not closing on my home they made me default my judgment . I've lived in this home for 7 years and put 20000.00 in rebuilding this home and it's all gone thanks to this horrible company lying to me. I can never forgive them for this. I want a full refund of my escrow. Since they never did help me finance my home after they said I was approved. Not sure where the issues are coming from. Mrs. [redacted] told the Consultant she is currently happy with our service. I would appreciate a call from the [redacted]s if there is an issue. We just did a conference call with the [redacted]s to discuss their file with her current landlord and attorney. Again, the [redacted]s have not discussed with us a problem.Consumer Response Since the filing of the complaint, 180 consultant has contacted me and has satisfied my complaint and is currently working with me and since their continued service to date I'm happy with the current status of services at this time.

Failure of service, refused contactContracted an Equity loan with CONSULTANT 180 on June 04th 2014 in the amount of $30,000. On that date $1688.00 had been deposited in their escrow account.The loan was is a no risk security loan as my home which is paid in full is collateral for the loan.Was agreed to close loan on or before September 04th 2014. Was contacted in July, stated that the loan was being presented to lenders and would be contacted by lenders within the week. A month went by,no contact or response to my inquiries. Since July I have called daily, never recieved any call backs- The voice mail recordings stated "we return all calls within 24 to 48 hrs. Never a call back. by pure chance of placing 100's of calls I had got lucky enough to speak with some on 3 seperate occassions since July, each time I was steam rolled- not allowed to speak, was criticized and talked to in an agressive manner. I tried to ask what happened to my loan in July? Only to be told "no one will give you a loan" your a terrible non paying person, we are here to try and get you in a position to purchase a home ? I tried desperately to speak, and was verbally assaulted each time. If I tried to speak they threaten to hang up on me.It was a miracle that I was able to say " I'm not trying to buy a home, why do you keep saying that I'am ." I had stated again "I agreed to an equity loan secured by my home that is paid in full,my outstanding debt is less than $2000.00 and have provided all loan application info that you requested and was told in July that the loan was in process". Again I was verbally assaulted without any explanation as to what happened to my loan.The verbal assault had nothing to do with my equity loan- as the harsh words referred me as a person trying to obtain home ownership and that I was a terrible person with bad credit and undeserving of a loan by any lender. Again I stated "I already own my home- the loan is secured" again they threaten to hang up on me and did hang up on me. I have recieved nothing but rudeness, refusal to contact me, confusion as to my agreed loan status of a secured loan. I have been charged a $66.00 monthly personal advisor fee-which I have been advised they do not have any advisor's assigned to anyone, that who ever answers the phone has to try and figure out what's going on, so there is no accountability from one person to the next. It has been nothing but verbal assault, no service,no call backs, no loan. It was stated to me, we get to keep your money for a year, don't have to process any loan, and say its your fault for not cooperating! How is this legal or possible for this company to operate. So their story goes, sure we will get you a loan in 60 to 90 days, then turn around and say by the way your an it, we knew your information up front-made a promise, guess what we are going to take that same information use it against you and say no we changed our minds and your screwed , you are all losers so good luck! they are looking for victims for a bait and switch.I have requested a refund, and was told well you'll probably never see that money, all we have to say is that you are not willing to work with us! seriously unbeleiveable Desired SettlementIam requesting the $1688.00 that was put into 180 Consulting ESCROW ACCOUNT. Complaint180 consultants failed to provide services as stated.I sent 180 consultants a certified letter on 11/3/14. Which stated that they failed to provide services stated after receiving money ($1688.00), which was placed in an Escrow account at [redacted]. They stated that I would get credit counseling, be provided with an advisor, as well as being approved for an $125,000.00 loan. hey also stated that I had to take 10 credit counseling classes on line. I recived 3, in which someone was reading a list of mortgage terms and their definitions. They also wanted me to go on the [redacted] website and apply for a credit monitoring program which I would have to pay $17.95 a month for and also provide my username and password to them, so that they may monitor my credit. I also paid $74.95 in which was to monitor my credit. I notified them by email and telephone that my banking information had changed. No one returned my call. My $1688.00 was deposited on 10/10/2014, in which I have the receipt for.I requested a refund of my money for services not provided and suspicion of fraud.Their parent company is Travel world Real Estate[redacted] which is the same number to the processing center. I spoke with a gentleman named [redacted] at the above number ext. [redacted], who assured me that they had over 100 private lenders.I would like a full refund of my money .Desired SettlementI am seeking $1688.00 which was deposited in their [redacted] account in Cary, NCBusiness Response In regards to [redacted] and [redacted], our office at 180 Consultant has tried to touch base several times. We would love to work with with[redacted] and [redacted] but they will have to follow the agreement as stated and Consultants direction. After depositing requested escrow fee of $1200, company failed to prvide services or refund.Company promised to assist with home refinancing. We passed [redacted] criteria filled out all forms and deposited $1200+ in an escrow account. They kept saying that hadn't yet forwarded the information to the lender. Then they said that they had sent the information to the lender but the lender wanted more information. Whenever we called them, we left a message because nobody ever answered the phone. To get a call back we had to enter a request through their e-mail. We called them everyday for a week and never heard back. It has been over a year now since we started this process and over 8 months that we have heard anything from them. Now their website is down and the phone number has been disconnected.Desired SettlementA full refund of the escrow deposit

This company takes money for a down payment and makes promises of credit repair and home ownership within one year. Then steals the money.This company made promises of homeownership. I followed their instructions exactly. They received my check for a down payment. After cashing the check they assured me everything was on track. They refused to communicate any farther. The nuber has been disconnected for a while. There has been no response to emails. This company took money from myself and my family which could have been used to pay bills. My credit is even worse than it was before. My children lost there home this company promised we would be able to save.Desired SettlementI would like a full refund and a settlement for the hardship they have caused my family.

This company was supposed to help me rebuild my credit and guaranteed that I would have a loan by 7/2/2014 to purchase a home. I gave them $1678.76 to enroll in the program. I have incurred other expenses as required by this company, $66.00 monthly for credit counseling, $17.95 monthly for Credit monitoring through [redacted] To this point I am out $1855.42 from this company. I have been trying to contact this company for over three weeks. There is a lady named, [redacted], who was my contact through this company. I have not been able to contact her or have anyone return my phone calls to which I have left numerous messages. Now I face being evicted from the house I was wanting to purchase. [redacted] did not follow the directions of the Consultants and did not make her monthly payments as it was written in her agreement. The [redacted]s are ignoring our call as of today.

Had to wire 180 Consultant 1688.00 for closing cost and appraisal to help us get a loan. They, took our money and no services were done from them. In August of 2014 My husband and I wired money to[redacted] in an account to began working with 180 Consultant is getting a house loan. The money was going for the closing cost and for appraisal of the house. A girl named [redacted] contacted us and we were working with her. Once the money was in there care we hardly heard back from [redacted]. We would call and call and write e-mail after e-mail. But, nothing then one day out of the blue she called and said that we were doing good and would be working on closing very soon and she was going to have videos sent to us and money taking out of our account for 79.99 for help fixing out credit score . After, receiving the voice mail I tried calling her back and never got nobody I called for 12 days straight and e-mail every day as well and didn't get a hold of nobody. I did received a video I watched it and tried to call and e-mail to let them know I received it and the money was out and see what was our closing date and nothing and then the following the month the same exact thing. Finally from August to November I had enough and sent them in a letter stating I wish to cancel services and to stop taking money out of my account I certificated the letter it came back sign so, I know they received it and still the month of December and January came by and the money was still coming out and no word from them. I then went to the bank cancel my account out and open a new one. I then in the month of February open a civil case against them for the money they have taken from me. We had a court case at the end of February and nobody showed we had to cancel the appointment because they wouldn't sign the sever papers. I finally in April 2015 received a letter from the courts that the company no longer wish to accept the sever papers for they are closing. All I want is my money back and to let EVERYONE KNOW HOW HORRIBLE THIS COMPANY REALLY IS!! THIS IS A JOKE AND THEY ARE TAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE WORKING HARD FOR THEIR MONEY AND HAVE NO CARE IN THE WORLD. THEY ARE GETTING PAID TO STEAL OUR HARD EARN MONEY! I did not get the service I was told I would get, they said if I paid the money I would have a house within three months I paid 1300 dollars by a money transfer and within 90 days I would have a home loan a through a private loan, I would also have to pay 39.99 a month that would be taken off my credit card. I have called and emailed several times at one point I was calling everyday and Noone would return my calls and now my emails are being sent back. I am out al lot of money Desired SettlementI had a one time application fee of 79 dollars and a one time fee of 1299 and 39.99 for 3 months I also had to have an [redacted] account for three months for 17.99 a month I would like to have all that money back. I am a single mother of 2 kids and live on a strict budget. I was just trying to buy a house instead of living in an apartment and paying rent.

This business will not answer a phone or return a phone call or email. They will not refund money for services never received. In March 2014 my husband and I started working with 180 Consultants in hopes to purchase a home. We have since decided against using their service and stopped $66.88 from being deducted from our checking account monthly. We have also made several phone call attempts with no answer, numerous voicemail messages left with no return call, a few emails also with no response. This company charged $149.98 to match us with a lender. They then required $1668.xx to be wired to [redacted] to be placed into an escrow account. We were advised this was to cover closing costs, attorneys fees, title company, etc. We were due to close in 90 days. We were then told that we had to have an account set up with enough money to cover 6 months of payments, which we were not told in the beginning. Since then, we are unable to reach anyone with the company. We were told we had defaulted due to a credit inquiry beyond our control and because we had credit alerts on our [redacted] credit profile that was required for us to maintain and pay a monthly fee for also. A majority of our alerts were due to disputes, which they, 180 Consultants, had advised us to do. We were unaware that we were not supposed to seek credit anywhere else due to the fact the welcome letter was omitted from our welcome package. I am not happy with the customer service we did receive on the mild and few occasions we did speak with someone. The employees were rude, especially [redacted]. I feel we were scammed. The $149.98, a manditory [redacted] credit profile that cost nearly $40 a month plus the $66.88 they deducted from our checking account on top of the $1668.xx we sent up front. The last time we spoke to anyone was the last week of June when they advised us they were sending our file to the lender for review to receive money to purchase our home. We have been unable to reach them since. Desired SettlementI am requesting a settlement of $1668.00, which is the amount of money we wired to the escrow account, the $149.00 back since we never spoke to a lender, and I would also like to receive $267.00 back for 4 months of fees they took out of my checking account at $66.88 monthly for the months of April, May, June, and July for a settlement of $2,081.00 total to cover the amount of money we have been out of pocket for services never received. Thank you. Business Response In regards to this complaint 180Consultant did reach out and talk to [redacted] signed an agreement knowing we have a home owners program package he agreed to. [redacted] and [redacted] started with us on March 25, 2014 by June there were alerts on their credit report for owing [redacted] and [redacted]. Our Consultants educate on finances while working with various lenders who requested they pay on the new accounts added to credit report. Our agreement states the 60-90 day homeownership program in detail. In order for us to work with the[redacted] they had to sign their agreement. The[redacted] also agreed to the 66.88 a month for year service with Consultants. There are no hidden agendas or disclosed information that wasn't given to the[redacted]. We are aware that the home the[redacted] wanted to purchase was sold to another buyer as they now request their money back. 180 receive clients daily from other companies just like the[redacted] that is why a signed agreement is processed before working with any client. We would love to move forward with the[redacted] but we will need them to be willing and open minded with their personal needs and debts. Again, we would love to continue working with the[redacted] for the remaining of their year of contract but we can not except them no paying on old debts and applying for new credit in the midst. If the[redacted] would like to reach out to us to go over a plan that will work for them we are available.Consumer Response In reference to 180's response, No, we were not informed we were "purchasing" anything along the lines of a home ownership package and such. We were told the monies were going to an account for something ENTIRELY different per Mr.[redacted]. All of his emails do not even link him to 180 in any way. He blatantly lied to us over the phone as to where our money was going to. His email is from a [redacted] team"?? And it says his company name is [redacted]. To a person who has little knowledge of purchasing a home, H/O PK, is greek to them and there were many things not explained to us upfront and 180 knows this. We did NOT open any new accounts for there to be a new account for which we were to pay on and we do NOT owe anything to [redacted] or [redacted]. [redacted] was contacted before 180. [redacted] is the software [redacted] uses to check credit. Therefore, there were NO NEW ACCOUNTS added. The "alert" in question is an inquiry from a previous attempt for a home loan before we were involved with 180. No phone calls since June for a service we have paid dearly for each month since March? I think not! I am just wanting a refund of the money that has been paid for something we did not get. 180 contacted us last week, only for the fact they could not steal any more money out of our checking account as we have had to cancel the debit card to keep them from taking any more money. We were supposed to receive a phone call back the following morning and here it is a week later and we are STILL awaiting a phone call. For this to be a "professional" business, you would think their grammar and spelling could at least look like it is coming from a professional level. This is a very unprofessional company in all aspects and I really hope no one else is scammed in such a way that we were. We have called them back since we last spoke to them a week ago and we left a voice mail and still no return call. We are not asking for a refund because the home we were trying to buy has been sold, just as we explained to the lady that called us last week. We are asking for a refund for being lied to, given a run around, scammed and paying for a service we are not getting. The training videos that were supposed to be sent out bi-weekly, we did not receive in that manner. We were also unable to open them with the log ins provided and when we did happen to speak with someone, we were told that it didn't matter that we could not open them and someone who deals with the videos would be contacting us, which never happened either. So, if the training videos were a part of our "package" that we supposedly bought, then that is another service that we are unable to use. We had to also keep an [redacted] credit profile open, which we have not been able to access or update since June 23rd. There were a few things that was questionable that we disputed and which that added alerts as well that no one would seem to understand. Fraud alerts have been added to our credit reports now. Our credit reports are locked and blocked from even being able to be checked. This has been a very bad experience for us and all we are asking is for a refund and we will never be heard from again. We can't even receive a phone call back that we have been promised. From my experience, 180 Consultants is a bogus company that is not 100% truthful and honest with their customers. It states that we can request a refund in 180 days from the time we started with them but I have been told that because there was an inquiry that we would not receive the refund. I am only asking to please refund our hard earned money to us.Consumer Response 9-23-2014I just tried once again to reach 180 in regards to my complaint and requesting a refund. Of course no one answered the phone and I have still yet to receive a phone call from anyone, which I was promised 2-3 weeks ago. After reviewing the previous complaints, I see there are more unhappy customers. You would think that a business would want to uphold their name in good standing and refund the customers their money. this company took my moneyi was trying to get a loan for a home . started working with this company they talked to me everyday two three times a day and said they could help me I had to pay 1700.00 dollars and 66.88 a month how ever as soon as I paid they stop calling me back or at all I have had one phone call from them or returned phone in two months. This buisness is comitting fraud and obtaing money from people by fraudulent pretensesThis complaint also involves [redacted] in [redacted] , where this money fraud acutally starts, they tell you that they (180) consultants has a private lender that has offered you a loan at 6.2% and your interest gets better after a year if you make uour payments on time, but first you have wire 1866 $ to a third party [redacted] account were it will set in escrow for closing, but once you wire your money to that specified account then you will not get any more phone calls from them no matter how many times you call there is no return calls, I have viewed the complaints on this site with the Revdex.com, and we all have been scammed , we all are having the same problem . Our office has not received any financial information nor monthly payments made. [redacted]'s file was discussed with him on several phone calls to the point where he just refuse to send documents but request service. Unfortunately, no one will be able to assist him until he decide to follow his agreement as the Consultants would love to assist. At this point [redacted] has breached with his agreement and was aware of no refund. Again, [redacted] signed the agreement as a Consultant did go over with him prior.

Requested money for closing cost on a loan we never received.Back approximately in August 2014 we paid the requested $978 for closing cost for a home equity loan we were supposed to have received in January. We were also paying $74 a month for the service every month. During the following months we had regular correspondence with this company. In January my attempts to contact them were unsuccessful. And they no longer contacted me. I had to cancel my debit card because they continued to hold out the $74.Desired SettlementWe want the initial $978 we paid to them for closing cost in addition to $296 for 4 months of charges at $74 each month plus interest.
