2 Vets And A Limo, LLC Reviews (23)

We, just as majority of companies out there do not refund deposits when canceling a reservation made regardless of amount of time. We did however offer for them to use the deposit towards services in the future which we do not do normally anyways. After every call when a deposit is made it is stated...

the deposit is non refundable. And it's agreed upon when they allow us to run their CC. This particular person had her friends husband call and try and use some tactic he stated "if you give the deposit back we will us your service for our wedding" I (the owner) told this man we offered to use this deposit towards future service he could use it towards that. He declined and said no because of principle. He also had a bad attitude making demands and threatening to write bad reviews and he was not even the one who made the reservation. We immediately called the woman who did and informed her he had called and she could use the deposit towards that. She declined and continued to display frustration we where not giving her money back. So as it stands we are still interested in allowing her to use her deposit towards service in the future if that is something she would like to do. We enphayze deposits are non refundable, we hope people can understand when they make a reservation we take a deposit for this exact reason. She reserved a time for our services, there for other potential clients calling for services that same time she did they get turned away because she reserved that time, so she calls back and cancels and expects a refund and now we lost out of potentially booking it with someone else.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Multiple times the owner was given a chance to resolve this matter in private through email. I kept declining his offers for FREE future service because my special event (ANNIVERSARY) had already passed, and I'm not interested in organizing a party and setting up a group for a PARTY BUS. I had a very well-orchestrated plan for a special date for my husband that went very wrong because of poor planning and because his limo is sub-par, to say the very least. Once I was getting nowhere through private emails, I then contacted the Revdex.com to have this resolved. The next day I reviewed his business on Facebook (very common these days) as did my husband, which seemed to finally get his attention. He then promised a refund of “half now, half once the reviews come down”. This is all documented with screen shots which has been sent to my attorney with the full email chain and also attached here. Saying that I have “disrespected” his company and “had my friends…lower his star rating” is actual slander, which he keeps accusing me of. I cannot control what other adults do once I’ve posted my public review of his company, and everything that my husband and myself have said online have been all true facts. Again, I can’t control what others do just as he nor his driver can control the traffic patterns or behaviors of others. His driver was extremely friendly and very apologetic (the whole night) for the super late time he arrived. Again, I understand traffic- that happens. The problems arise when the owner thinks that I should’ve stopped the driver to alert him of the A/C problem (which I fixed on the way there so there was no reason to bring it up afterward) when we’re already over 45 minutes late and wants me to believe when he says he has “fired” this employee (which I didn’t want or ask for in the first place), yet he has this full statement from him for this purpose. No employee who has lost his job is going to give a statement like this to help a “former” employer. The driver says that I told him to just “leave it” when talking about the radio not functioning. He is correct, I said to “leave it” when we were trying to be on our way from a busy parking lot (Kroger) to get to the dinner which, again, we were already 47 minutes leaving for. I don’t believe a rational person would just leave a broken radio and not try to fix it in the hour and a half he knew we were going to be at dinner. It was just broken. We didn’t call him on our way down because my husband wanted an after-dinner smoke once we got outside then we were going to call him. He did quickly make his way to us as soon as we walked out the door, which I had no problem with as I don’t like the cigarette smell, anyway. We had no issues with the time from the door to dinner to the limo. Most of the issues are not the fault of the driver at all. Should he have left in enough time, checking traffic and using a GPS to get to us in time? Yes. Should he have answered the phone when I called to see where he was if he was, in fact, “stopped” in traffic? Yes. Should the drinks already in his possession been chilled and/or ice provided? Yes. While these are substantial mistakes, they aren’t completely unforgiveable (as evidenced by his 20% tip still given at the end of the night). The major issues are the working state of things inside the limo and the owner’s attitude, accusatory demeanor and persistent way of “fixing” things by offering free future service. I also have no interest in ever doing business with him, nor does anyone that’s read mine and/or my husband’s review of “actual service” that include nothing but true statements. As I’ve said, my attorney (copied on this response) has all information and will be contacting the owner to let him know he’s going to have a card dispute and is more than willing to speak with him if he has any questions as to the validity of my claims and any other questions he may have.I do hope the owner has learned from this experience and maybe will think about his actions before treating his paying customers this way in the future. I wish him the best of luck and do sincerely thank him and his driver for their service to our country.
Regards,

Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: 2 Vets And A Limo Company Contact: Jc Company Phone: [redacted] Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint: [redacted] Staff Member: Response: We at 2...

Vets And A Limo do not provide clients alcohol or condone under age drinking. Mr. [redacted] is mistaken by assuming there is alcohol on our vehicles. We do not allow minors to drink on our vehicles. It is not known by our staff that his children where on one of our party busses, in fact there was not even a scheduled run on the day he is stating his children where on a bus of ours. ACTUAL clients that book with us have booked party buses and limousines for birthday parties for their children along with prom as he stated his son is 17 assuming he is having a prom could just as easily end up on a party bus or limousine. Regards to Mr. [redacted] complaint he assumed it is illegal to have minors on our vehicles that is false and is not against the law. it can be far to say maybe Mr. [redacted] should take more responsibility and know where his children are at all times. In reference to a possible employee of ours having anyone in our party buses without an actual scheduled appointment is against company policy. At 2 Vets And A Limo we strive to be the most professional limousine company. Our employees do have extensive years of training and personal experiences from the Military that allow us to hold the up most professionalism there is on this earth, considering most of our drivers are or have served in the UNITED STATES ARMY. If Mr. [redacted] would like we can offer him 10% military discount if he or a relative of his has served and get his son a Limousine for Prom. Thank you Sent on: 3/1/2016 7:24:13 PM
