Review: On 7/19/2014, on the Internet I arranged with 24/7 Ride for transportation between LAX and our hotel in West Hollywood, CA on 08/07/2014. Confirmation from 24/7 indicated we were to call the company dispatcher at (888) 700-1222 once we had gathered our bags and were ready to be picked up. Our plane arrived on time at 4:37 PM on 08/07/2014, and as we were at the baggage carousel awaiting our bags, I received a telephone call from the 27-7 driver, Javier, saying he was waiting for us outside the terminal. I explained our situation and we agreed that once I had gotten our bags, I would call him. Shortly, Javier again called; and I had to inform him that one of our bags had not arrived but reportedly was on a later plane. This call was when we were at the airline baggage office waiting to provide the office staff with our hotel location so the bag could be forwarded. Javier informed me that he would not be able to wait any longer, because he was scheduled for another pickup. When I asked how I could arrange for another vehicle, Javier referred me to the dispatcher. When I called the dispatcher, I was told that there were no other vehicles available to get us to the hotel. I then asked for a refund of the $62.00 which I had prepaid via credit card. The dispatcher asked me to hold and when he came back on the line, he advised me that management said that because the company had sent a vehicle and a driver to pick us up, they were not going to give us a refund. I explained that we were unable to meet the driver more quickly because we needed to arrange to have our bag, which was on a later plane, transported to our hotel. Dispatch told me there was nothing else that he could do, and that ended the conversation,.Desired Settlement: I want the $62.00 I had been billed by 24-7 refunded. A credit to my card is in order because 24-7 Ride had not ptovided the agreed-upon service.

Review: My boyfriend and I had used this shuttle service on the way to the airport and had experienced no issues so we thought we'd use the same service on the return home. We made the reservation for a private non-stop shuttle, received confirmation for our pick up time and paid for the service. After we landed, while we were at baggage claim my phone rang. I received a message saying "Hello, this is the company 24-7 Ride. I'm calling regarding your scheduled pick-up this evening. Unfortunately I am unavailable to provide a driver to pick you up--I am so sorry for the inconvenience--but we double booked for this time slot and we do not have anyone available. Please forgive us again for this inconvenience. You can take a taxi or another shuttle service that will take you back to Burbank. Sorry again. Have a great evening." Her sentences were short and rude. Even though it was after hours at the call service since she had just called I tried to call back. No one picked up the phone. We had to take a $100.00 cab ride back to our home--on top of already paying for the shuttle that oops double booked. They boast about how many drivers and cars they have and they couldn't provide anything to someone who already had confirmation that a vehicle was reserved. The customer service rep who left the message didn't offer a refund and simply suggested to take a taxi. They were completely insincere in their "apology." Not to mention all online reservations have to be made 12 hours in advance. They had 12 hours to look at the scheduling for the day and decided to call us 45 minutes before the shuttle was supposed to pick us up. They handled the situation completely unprofessionally and basically left us hanging with our money in their hand. Since this was on a Friday, there is no one to talk to until Monday. We tried to request a refund online but that didn't work, so we sent them an email and are currently waiting for a response.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the 76.00 used to reserve the vehicle. Since the business chose not to alert us of their mistake until 45 minutes before they were supposed to show up when they had 12 hours to alert us I also think they should pay for our taxi ride. The reason you reserve a shuttle is so this doesn't happen. They provided no alternative to us except for an "on your own" mentality. This was completely inconvenient not to mention costly.
