Review: I had my storm drain not draining when it rained, I called them to do a camera inspection to find out where the problem was. When the worker arrived he asked me to show him him where the pipes were for the water meter, which was in my garage. My problem was with the drain in front of my garage. He then put the camera in the waste drain, even though I had no problem there. He told me I had to much rust in the pipe and wanted 800 dollars to clean it , plus 200 for the camera inspection. I paid him the 200 and said no for the cleaning. I had 3 other plumbers here and finally found out that my storm drain pipe which goes into the street was broken. The city had replaced the main water pipe for the whole block and broke my pipe. I had called them back to come and put the camera in the right place, the storm drain, and the man that was here got very rude with me and told me not to tell him where to put the camera. He said I have been doing this for 15 years and I know where it goes. I really think I should get my 200 back, since they didn't do the right thing the first time and didn't want to come back and try and find the problem. I had to pay other people to find the problem. They wanted to get paid again and told me that there was no way that he could see the problem from the storm drain.Desired Settlement: the $200.00 dollars I paid him for nothing and was even rude when I complained.
Review: On Saturday, November **, 2013, we contracted a technician from this company to come to our home to address a backed up sewer line. The contractor stated that not one, but two lines, needed to be snaked clear. The work would result in double the amount advertised. We agreed. The contractor did the work and assured that everything was working well and we could return to our normal routine. The next morning, Sunday, November **, 2013, we turned on our washing machine - which is connected to the second line that was snaked by the contractor - and the basement flooded.
When I called the company to inform them of the issue, they stated that they were not responsible for the flooding irrespective of whether or not their contractor was negligent in checking to ensure that everything was working well. I asked that they simply send another technician to snake the lines to ensure they were properly cleared and the send a pump to pump the water off the floor so that we would be able to clean our floors.
The manager, [redacted], disagreed and said that was not the responsibility of the company.Desired Settlement: I would like to have the money we paid for the work fully refunded. The work was not done properly at all and resulted in damage to our home.
Review: I called this company to fix a sink that is backing up with sewage. This is an unsightly, unpleasant, and unhealthy situation!
A plumber came out and snaked the main drain one direction, then the other. This, they claimed, would be treated as 2 drains and I would be charged double. I was okay with that, just so long as it solved the problem. The plumber said I was "all set," and should have anymore issues with it.
He was wrong. It continued to back up the very next day.
I called them back again, and the same plumber showed up. He ran some water for two minutes, said he didn't see a problem, and claimed the issue must have "taken care of itself." He left.
The issue did NOT take care of itself, however, and sewage continued to back up into the sink for the next few days until I called them back again.
Again they showed up, but this time, they wanted to charge me again! I called the [redacted] to explain that the original problem for which he charged me had never been solved. But, he was unconcerned with my issue, and just kept repeating that "we fixed it." If they had fixed it... it wouldn't be backed up full of sewage!Desired Settlement: I expect a refund. I paid for a job that was not done. I paid to have my sink no longer back up with sewage; but it still does!
