I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I would like an apology from the manager for the way the situation was handled. I called to file a complaint and was hung up on and laughed at. I am utterly disgusted with the way this has been handled.

Business states that the additional fee was the fee that was charged to get to where the consumer was to be picked up. There are not meters in the taxis, so there is a flat fee for each mile. If consumer is seeking an apology, she would need to seek out the driver of the particular cab. They are...
actually subcontractors, not employees.
Review: I called A-1 Taxi and was told the driver would be there in 15 minutes. He was there in half an hour with no call stating it would be longer. When the driver pulled up, he said just one minute I need to call my dispatcher to figure out the price. I then told him last time I went through them it was 7$. He hung up and had told me it would be 12$. I said 12 dollars? It's 3 miles! Then when we pulled up to the intersection a car pulled through a service road to turn right which was completely legal and he started screaming and cursing at her. Then as he pulled out to turn left, he slammed on his brakes almost hitting the car in front of us and the van was then across 2 lanes of traffic side ways for 3 minutes while the lights all changed. He farted multiple times with all the windows rolled up and never once said a word about it. He drove over 2 different curbs. And when I called to complain, I was laughed at and hung up on! I asked to speak to the manager and she said "Honey I am the manager" and then laughed hysterically. I think she said her name was barb? I then asked if there was anyone higher up I can speak to and I was laughed at and hung up on 3 different times! I am utterly DISGUSTED.Desired Settlement: I expect an apology through a phone call from the manager or someone higher up.
