Review: Locked my keys in trunk. Contacted A 24 Hour Locksmith because their were the closest to where I was when I locked keys in trunk. They charged me a total of $226.00 to make a key and get the keycode from the VIN. The key that was made just was to open the trunk and door locks. No ignition key. My mom called two other locksmith and their quotes for the same type of vehicle and the same situation as mine were half the amount that I paid. My mom contacted A 24 Hour Locksmith spoke with Jordan, was very rude and argumentative. He was told that he overcharged me because the same service could have been done for less. Initially when my mom contacted Jordan she said that she was at the Market Place (Natomas) further from where I was at and was only going to charge her $15.99 for the service charge where he had charged me $29.99 just for the service charge and I was alot closer than my mom. Jordan was rude and disconnected the call from my mom, twice. When my mom called back, the lady who answered the phone stated that he did not want to meet or talk to my mom. Furthermore, the receipt that I received from them did not list any company name, address or telephone number or any information of the locksmith.Desired Settlement: I would like a portion of what I paid returned to me. My mom received two quotes for the same sitation as mine from two different locksmith's in the area that were about $100 less. I would like Jordan to return a portion of what my daughter paid.

Response:
the customer order emergency service to open her car. we send her the first technician who explain he will only open the car door. the technician open her car door but the key were in the trunk. because of a security system in her car we couldn't open the trunk. the only way to open it, was to make a key. we told her the fees for that and she agreed!! so we ran her VIN number and paid $55 just for the key code. then we send her the second technician who cut the key on site and open her trunk. the fees that other company offer is for one technician not two, for regular service and not emergency. we told the customer the fees all along and she agreed there was no hidden fees. we want to mention again that we told her the price before we send the second technician and before we paid for the key code.
Review: Lost keys on Easter Sunday morning and finally got this company to come out. Expected them to pick the lock (only one) but their technician immediately said my lock is very difficult to pick. He said the price would be their normal service charge of $29 + $255 to get me into my condo. He couldn't pick it so drilled it out, let me in and then went back to his car to get what I thought were just replacement tumblers for my existing lock. He replaced the entire lock and when he wrote up the receipt he had added $125 for a total of $409. I pointed out that he never said anything about the $125 but I was so out of it (had been locked out for 4 hours) so I just paid it with my debit card. I called the next day, talked to [redacted], the owner, who said he would talk to his technician and call back. He didn't that day and I called him on May 13. He said the technician confirmed he did not tell me about the additional $125 and that he was authorizing a credit for the $125. I have not received it and was told by his customer service folks that he's out of the country until next week (no date) and that only he can authorize the credit. I consider this to have been a classic bait and switch transaction that they did to me knowing how difficult it is to get a locksmith on a Sunday. I had never dealt with a locksmith before and had no idea what this service should normally cost. The technician said the $255 was so high because it was a Sunday. Also, the receipt is generic. It doesn't list any of the company info or the technician's name - only his phone # on the receipt which no one has ever answered: [redacted].I had to get the name from my bank and called Abizdrin at [redacted] - the number I called on may 10. Note that I then got their Sacramento address and phone # form your Revdex.com database when I called yesterday. I am only requesting the credit for the $125 although the remaining $284 still seems outrageous. Thanks - [redacted]Desired Settlement: The $125 credit that [redacted]as already acknowledged he owes me. Either by doing a credit to my debit account or by check.
