I am glad that you are trying to resolve this issue and take a friendly first stepI would like to clarify a few things that you mentioned.My guy friend who picked up the key didn't speak EnglishWhen he went to the store, he put us on the phone with the staff to make sure he was allowed pick the key from the staffOn the phone, we were not told anything that "the car needed to be moved otherwise it would be towed." If he/she thought "the car needed to be moved otherwise it would be towed," the staff was fully aware that the car was parked in a wrong place by him/her.I sent in the car not because I ran over somethingI sent in a car on Jan running with a spare tire, I noticed your staff drove my car from the front of the store to the big back yard, and later the car was back to the frontLater the staff drove to the entrance of your wheel alignment garageThen I left the store, afterwards, someone drove it to final spot where the car was towedSo your staff drove it several times that day, and nobody said it was malfunctioning.The difference was huge after I got back my car from the towing companyThe noise was loud because the emission didn't go through muffler any more after the catalytic converter ruptured and dropped offI have provided photos for you in the attachmentWhen I was driving, there was significantly more vibration.Before I sent in the car for new tire replacement, I asked *** to replace the broken tire with spare tireI was driving on the spare tire for about miles before Town Fair Tire replaced with new tireI have witness sitting in my car on the spare tire to prove that the car had no problem at all before being towedOn January (Monday), my female friend did take my car back to the same Town Fair Tire store to troubleshootThe staff did guess it might be due to the wheelLater she took it to two mechanic shop, neither said it was a problem of the wheel, but both pointing to the broken and dropped off catalytic converterIt is like a falling tree trunk after a stormMechanics thought it must result from a hard hit and needed to be replacedThe technician at the *** dealer told me that catalytic converter could last much longer than the car's current age and mileage unless there is a major impactI believe that Town Fair Tire took good care of my car in the repairing process, but the inappropriate towing damaged my carHowever I am not in the position to speak to the towing company directly because it was not me parking the car in the wrong place.Trust meI am a reasonable and considerate personI am not asking Town Fair Tire to compensate for loss of time in finding my car, sending car to mechanics, and going back to Town Fair Tire to communicate with the staffAnd I am not asking for compensation for loss of use of my car and inconvenience to my friend after I borrowed her carShe is month into her pregnancyI was terribly worried when she was driving this trembling car to mechanic shops on a snowy day, walking on the snow into the shops, and smelling the leaked uncleaned emission.I am asking for just the material loss resulting from the towing: the catalytic converter replacement and the towing feeThe towing fee is $and I have provided the receiptI haven't done the catalytic converter replacement yet but I got quote from [redacted] ***: about $And I have another quote from one mechnic shop that I went, which is almost $Both numbers including parts, labor, and taxesThanks!I heard good things about Town Fair Tire and that was why I went to your storeI was cooperative and patient on January 3, while waiting for the tire replacement, despite of two delays in the expected finishing timeI wish that day the service had not been delayed, or been delayed just once, then all things afterwards could have been avoidedI believe things that happened were not what you meantThat's why I sincerely wanted to work with you to resolve this issue Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:
The tires were not swapped out to my satisfactionBecause I was not able to return either of the winter tire packages I had bought (despite stated "day Satisfaction Guarantee" and separately advertised "free day test drive"), the only options I was given were to swap the tires on one of the cars to another, more expensive set of winter tiresOn the other car I was told that no other winter tires were available for the car (despite winter tires of that size being listed as available on the company website)Given this, and our dissatisfaction with the originally purchased tires (in our experience with them, they have been unsafe) I switched to more expensive all season tiresNote that I did not want all season tires, but that I was told repeatedly that I could not switch the tires for any other winter tiresIn no way do I consider either of these switches to be satisfactory In both cases I do not believe this Satisfaction Guarantee was honored because I was not allowed to return the tire packages or any part of themThis is even more so in the case of the 2nd car where the store could/would not offer to switch the tires for any other winter tires (again, despite winter tires being shown as available in the size required for my car).Please let me return the tire packages I have purchased from Town Faire Tire and refund the money that I have paid

We sincerely apologize for the issue Mr*** is having with the tiresI spoke with the store this afternoon they state they never told *** that we no longer wished to service Mr***The associate there states that the one tire appeared to be damaged by road hazard and the other
had some minor cracking. They felt the cracking was not warrantable issue however at this point we will gladly pro rate the tires per the *** warrantyAs for the tire with the questionable damage we will pro rate that tire based on mileage and refund for the credit on that tire as well Mr*** would just need to contact *** at the store and he will arrange the credit and /or refund.Sincerely,

If those are the replacement tires in questions they seem to be substantially cheaper than the tires currently on my car (*** *** *** *** *).Many thanks for your help,*** ***
