Great service, very competent work, no issues at all, resolved my problem very easy I definitely recommend this company

Had an AWSOME! [redacted] doesn't claim to know it all but sure goes out of his way to satisfy me, the customer He is honest, reliable, and knowledgeable I'm going to definitely refer him to all of my family members and friends GREAT JOB ***!

A/C Mechanical is an outstanding HVAC company! They took the time to explain what was wrong and how to correct it A/C Mechanical quickly identified the problem with my AC and promptly fixed it I highly recommend them to anyone

This company was supposed to come out on a Saturday. They could not/would not give a specific time, just that it would be Saturday. Because our problem needed to be taken care of asap, we agreed. We sat around waiting, literally, all day Saturday. We finally gave up around 7pm.
You may wonder, why didn't you call them? Well, we did call around 9am to get an estimated time. The person I spoke to said they would be there "no later than 5pm". They never showed up, they never called, and the next time we spoke to them, they did not offer an apology or explanation, just wanting to set up another day and time.
We agreed to have them come out the following Friday. We were told they could only come out around 4pm. I said that is not acceptable, we both work, and don't get home until after that. He said there was nothing he could do. I told him that after they left us sitting around all day without a call, we deserve an exception. He agreed, and said someone would be there around 5:30. We received a call around 5:45 saying he would be late, we said ok, and that we would be home. Once again, no show, and no call.
Avoid this company at all costs. I don't think I have ever received worse service.

They don't live up to their promise of being on time . [redacted] told me that he would be there at 8am ....nope . He said he would be there between 8 and 12. He also said that he needed approval before doing the work . He had it. Then he asked me for my name and address . Really ? I guess little details like that are not important . He said he was really busy . That's not my problem . Then he began to tell me that the parts would take 2 to 3 days to get . BS....let's just say that I am still waiting . Oh by the way they are still not here. Its 1200 noon. Don't waist your money

Dear [redacted],Mrs. [redacted] is absolutely correct! I will refund her money immediately!The only reason why this ended like it did is because our experience with Choice Home Warranty was " pathetic" to say the least!We ran about 250 repair calls in 2 months, that's an avarage...

of 5 per day, for them, and I wish I could say all were timely and accurate diagnosis but unfortunately some were not like in this case. Ironically I was going behind another service company that experienced exactly what we did!I have nothing to be ashamed of because even though my initial diagnosis was critical for proper performance of the appliance, I'm certain I would of figured it out with my second visit.In all honesty after " racking" a bill of somewhere around 5k of unpaid repairs from Choice I personally decided to drop them and pursue legal action. Thats  why with all the chaos Mr Metenbrink's repair fell through!Im sure [redacted] can attest to my concerns on Choice because there track record is beyond shady!Publicly I would like to apologize for all the hassle that Mrs. [redacted] went through with Ac Mechanical trust me it wasn't intentional let alone our way of doing business unfortunately we were between a rock and a hard spot. I honestly would like to thank her for her feedback this only makes us better and wiser!Best regards[redacted]

I have used AC Mechanical over the last 3 years for several air conditioning repairs, and every repair has been on budget, timely and no hassles. His price and service is better than most, very knowledgeable, and has always delivered on budget. My company doesn't use anyone else. We have a great relationship with AC Mechanical and trust their work ethic. I recommend AC Mechanical to everyone.

Absolutely wonderful customer service! Very fast response and quick to identify and fix the problem. Very friendly and professional! Will definitely do business with again and refer to others!

Review: AC Mechanical was assigned by my Home Warranty company to troubleshoot / repair my refrigerator which was not cooling. The AC technician, [redacted], arrived on January 20, 2015 to diagnose and make the repairs. He arrived and indicated that the problem for the refrigerator not cooling was due to dirty coils. I asked him if he could go ahead and clean them, which he agreed to do, but that service would not be covered under my home warranty. I authorized him to go ahead and clean the coils and I would pay him the $95 + $45 co-pay to clean the coils.

Once [redacted] was done cleaning the coils, he indicated that it could take up to 24 hrs. for the refrigerator to cool down to its normal operating temperatures. If not, to call him back directly and he would come back and make a further diagnosis, and he would not charge me another $45 co-pay to do so. I paid [redacted] via credit card for the cost of the repairs and co-pay, totaling $140, and he departed.

The refrigerator did not cool down to the normal temperatures after the 24 hr. period. So, I called [redacted] and spoke with him regarding the issue. He recommended to give it a few more days before making a determination to come back and service the refrigerator. I had a business trip out of town so I let things go until February 1st when I called [redacted] back again and told him the refrigerator temperatures were not getting better, but worse. He made an appointment with me for the next afternoon at 3:00pm.

On February 2nd, I took time away from work and waited for [redacted]'s arrival and he did not show. I spoke with him and he said he was running late and could do the service first thing the following morning at 8:00am. I agreed to the appointment.

Again, on February 3rd, I waited for [redacted] to arrive for the 8:00am appointment, again taking time off work to do so. After an hour, I called [redacted] and asked him if he was going to make it. He indicated he must have double booked the appointment and was in [redacted] and had other scheduled so it was unlikely he would be able to make the appointment. He asked me when I might be available later in the day. I stated I had meetings up to 5:00pm and could meet him after that. He said he would definitely meet me after 5:00pm. He said he would call me to let me know when they were on the way. I left work early, 4:30pm, in order to meet him at 5:00pm. [redacted], again, did not call or show.

After three (3) "no shows", I did not try calling him back. Instead, I called my home warranty company and requested they assign me a new service vendor. I also told the home warranty company about my experience with [redacted] at AC Mechanical, and they indicated to me that I was not the only one complaining about him, and they had taken him off their service list. The new service technician came immediately and diagnosed the problem was a a malfunctioning 3-way valve. He was able lot do this within 15 minutes of arriving. This only makes me believe [redacted] is not competent at both customer service and making correct diagnoses of repairs needed.Desired Settlement: I want a refund of the entire amount of the services I was charged $140. 1) I had to pay another service vendor to come out and make the correct diagnosis and repairs; 2) AC's/[redacted]'s resolution to the problem was not the root cause of the refrigerator issues, therefore I unnecessarily paid for having the coils cleaned ($95). Let's not forget the amount of time I took off of work to meet [redacted] and he did not show up on 3 occasions. This has cost me more in lost work time and stress. But, I would be satisfied to at least get back the money spent for AC's/[redacted]'s poor, incompetent service.
