Wes *** agreed to come back to fix leak in screened porch roof that his company installed. Roof is still leaking and Wes will not respond to our request to set up a time convenient for him or his company to repair roof. We have the text messages from Wes stating he will come back and repair roof.
We want the roof repaired completely so that it does not leak and is guaranteed not to leak for a reasonable amount of time.
First things first, this person filing the complaint, has NO legal contract with A Screen Concepts LLC.
They hired a general contractor to do their remodel and addition. The contractor hired us to build the screen room. What this person has failed to mention is, we have been back to fix leaks caused by the general contractor at least 10 times. The first leak was caused by the contractor running a electrical conduit through the back of our gutter and not leaving a drip loop (nothing to do with Screen Concepts). We fixed that leak. The second leak was inside the room that the contractor closed in (nothing to do with Screen Concepts). The stucco wasn't done properly. We fixed that leak as well (nothing to do with Screen Concepts). This is a new leak. We recently went out to address this issue. We sealed every possible seam water could get through. The general contractor should have completed the soffit repairs needed to avoid this leak.
The general contractor has abandoned this job.
We can NOT give any guarantee on caulking on a roof. With thermal expansion and contraction in the hot Florida sun, caulking will always need to be redone every couple years.
