This account was paid I need this matter cleared up immediatelyThank you, [redacted] A Simple Solution Estate Sale Company [redacted]

To Whom it May Concern, This complaint should not even have been addressed by the Revdex.com I am in my full and justified rights in this matter Ms [redacted] called me to solicit my business She telephone me on separate occasions stating that she was referred to me because of the good work I am known for I talked with her on the telephone where I explained to her in full how we conduct business and our percentage At that time she told me that she had her deceased mothers residence along with her own a few doors down on the same Street and needed my Services I told her that I had a free in-home consultation and we set up a time to meet at her residence to discuss the Sales.I asked her at the time that we met if it was ok for me to take and inventory and she stated "Please go ahead and get whatever you need I need your help, I am overwhelmed." I told her the steps for that day were to take an inventory listing and pictures of the items in the houses and garage that were for sale, "if" she decided to use our Services She said that the property was a mess and I told her that the customers would come to the Sale because of curiosity of what all was there that they could not see I told her that if she preferred not to move forward I had no problem and we could reschedule for a future date She said "No, you are the professional and if you can help me go ahead and do what you think is best." I spent about hours with her and went over details I then asked her if she was ready to pick a date to do the sale and sign the contract She said "Yes, I need to try to save my mother's house I am ready to move forward as soon as you can." I need the money so that I can buy my mothers house and move into it She showed me the items that she was keeping and I made sure to focus on the items for Sale only This was a or more hour appointment out of my busy schedule and never in any way shape or form have EVER pressured any client to sign a Sale with me I have plenty of homes that are in clean and in order Her Estate was right on the edge of a hoarders home, which I have done many of and have the experience to handle I then opened my calendar planner and she excused herself to get her calendar and I told her that I suggested that we do separate Sales due to the enormity of the items She agreed that she thought it would take Sales also We then picked a date together that was convenient for her I never at any time was pushy or misleading I sat and filled out the contract with her and then went over it with her line for line Including where it states right in the contract that ''ANY'' items removed from the Estate after the signing of the contract are billed 50% of the market value She said that she had already went through everything and was fine with that I also at that time told her that I have changed my policy and pay all accounts on the closing day of the Sale prior to my leaving the premises if she is able to meet me there because I had gotten behind on some accounts due to family emergencies and never want that to happen againI could not have been more honest or upfront She was fine with everything and even hugged me upon my leaving her Estate And as proof if you look at her contract you will see where there is a line through the time to pay and now reads at the end of the Sale and we initialed that clause My contract are in plain English and very easy to read with the client and easy for them to read and understand I then came home between appointments and took another to hours downloading the pictures and typing the inventory of items that were in the Sale I posted them on all of my advertising websites as I always do She then called me on Thursday stating that she found more items to include into the Sale She found fishing items that her father had and other items that she wanted me to add to the advertising list I told her that I would be glad to and did so upon getting home from the Sale that I was conducting in Yuba City She also told me that she was thankful that I was helping her and asked if I could move furniture from one home to the other I told her that I was very sorry but I could not be held liable if anything were to happen and that I was not equipped as a moverThe next day she called and I was unable to answer the telephone due to being on the phone with another client She left a message sobbing on the other end that she had to cancel the Sale due to her Grandmother becoming ill and she had to go take care of her I didn't buy that because of the way the message sounded and I immediately returned her call and she did not answer trying to ignore me I left a message stating that I was sorry about her Grandmother and to be sure to leave a key with someone so that we are able to uphold our legal and binding contract I called again several times and she would not pick up the telephone or talk with me I then left a message that I would appreciate a call back so that we were able to discuss the contract as adults She finally called me back with an entire different tone stating that she would not let me near her home to handle her Estate because she now saw my Company on Channel I told her that I had already told her that I had run late on some accounts and that is why I changed my policy so that it never happened again I also stated that she is in a legal and binding contract and that if she watched the entire report on she would see where even the anchorman stated that family emergencies happen and could understand and that I am now caught up and changed my policyThe next day my son called me and told me that he signed for a registered letter Ms [redacted] took it upon herself to put a line through our signed contract and say cancelled and signed it as if it were in her right to do so This was not cancelled by me and I did not agree to cancel I have every right to be treated with respect whether I was human and a bump in the road Regardless of whether the news did a segment or not I still run a good solid Company and am not dishonest I had family problems and rectified the entire situation and EVERYONE of my accounts were paid current even prior to the News doing the story I never was scamming anyone I simply had my mother ill and was still trying to make sure between being with my mother after her car accident and then being with her in ICU and taking care of my father which is in a walker and taking him to see my mother and taking care of their household and my own and trying to keep my contracts going with Estates I got behind I took weeks off to get all of my Business affairs current and make sure that I changed my Policy to make sure if anything ever were to happen in the future that it would never happen again Those are not by any means traits of a person who is trying to run off or scam anyone I am quite set back by her trying to use the News against me when she called prior to the News showing and told me her Grandmother fell ill and she was cancelling and then after the News ran it changed to that She either found a less expensive Company or something but it does not even matter the conditions She has no legal right to cancel the contract and get away without having to pay for her signed commitment I sent her a letter today registered stating that I was going to take her to court and put mechanics liens against both properties Ms [redacted] is trying to use my News review as leverage and cry the o poor me This is not at all the case I even told her that she could be present at the Sale I have done absolutely nothing wrong and am in no way responsible for her actions Possibly Ms [redacted] has some type of medical problem that is causing these mood swings Regardless, of what is causing this I would like you to look over the contract where things have been marked through and by noting that you will see that we sat down together and I explained right above board that I had been late with some accounts and have changed my policy to avoid that ever happening againI am a business owner that takes my Business very serious and I work days a week and sometimes all night to make sure that I am able to please my clients and customers bothIf Ms [redacted] failed to send you a copy of the signed contract I would be glad toIf you need anything further from me regarding this matter please let me know I had actually thought about dropping going to my Attorney and forgetting about the mechanics lien but now am considering moving forward with it since she has been so deceptive She stated to me that she was a Deputy Sheriff If that is the case then why would she be so scandalous? Sincerely, Valerie Johnson

I responded long ago to this complaint I said it is over She was under a contract she broke and am am not pursuing this issue If it continues I will add everything I stated is true and correct in my prior letters This is a consumer that has some issues to handle and unfortunately I took the brunt of it I have many, many very happy and satisfied customers that I have done business with prior to my mother's illness and after It is very sad that a contract and honest handshake and a business owners time mean nothing to some people Had she tried discussing the situation with me instead of neighbors she may have had a different outlookHowever, with what I have seen, I am much better off because no matter what I would have done it would have been wrong in her eyesCheck you records for my response to the previous letters

This entire event with *** *** has been very upsetting and stressful when I am grieving after the tragic and sudden death of my beloved motherThere are many inaccurate statements in *** ***'s message/letterMy complaint filed in person at the Revdex.com office on March 4, is an accurate summary of events, timeline, and interactions with *** ***, owner of "a simple solution estate sale company." To address ***'s discrepancies I am re-capping the timeline of events as followsAt the recommendation of a neighbor, I did contact *** about her estate sale business and she scheduled an appointment to come to my home for a "Free consultation" on Wednesday, February 24, at 10:am*** called around 10:am stating she was "running late and would be there in 20-minutes"She arrived about 11:amWe looked all through my house ans garage, *** asked to take pictures which she said "were for her won reference, as she does so many sales it is hard for her to keep them straight"We then went to my mother's home where my adult son was present and can verify what transpired during that meeting with ***.*** briefly explained how she conducts an estate sale then she checked her calendar for her availability.*** had a contract which she quickly completedWhile I was reading the contract *** stated we needed to "hurry up" as she had another appointment with clients which I had made her late for." I did call *** the next day, Thursday Feb24, @ noonShe was conducting an estate sale at the time, and spoke to me while conducting business*** answers were very different from what she had told me the day before about her servicesHer behavior & answers on the phone concerned me; so I talked to my neighbor *** who had referred ***'s business to meOn Thursday 2-24-16, *** looked on Yelp and discovered all the bad comments about ***'s poor business practices*** felt terrible for recommending someone with such a bad reputationThis prompted me to call the Revdex.com and inquire about *** and her businessI was informed by Revdex.com that *** ***, owner of "a simple solution estate sales company" had the worst rating a company could haveI was told that there were numerous complaints about ***'s questionable and unethical business practices dating back several yearsThe Revdex.com representative stated that "she wishes I had this information from the Revdex.com that prompted me to take quick action to cancel the contract in two daysI wrote a letter explaining why I did not want to proceed with an estate sale conducted by *** ***I mailed the certified letter at pm on Friday, February 26, Additionally I had an unexpected family emergency that required my attention which I called and left *** a message that I would need to cancelIt was later that night when *** called leaving the first message threatening to sue me "as we had a legal contract and she was entitled to 50% of my household possessions." *** continued to leave angry, threatening messages on my answering machine that "she would sue me and put mechanics liens on my home and my mother's home so I could not sell my house." *** also threatened that "I could not remove any belongings from my house." Her cashiers check was mailed quite some time ago.  I notified her of this.  I sent it to the address on the contract and then they stated it was a different address.  They were also sent a tracking number.  I totally resent that they have contacted you and claimed I stole from them.

Here is proof the cashiers check copy was sent to them.  They claim we never sent a copy.  What else are they lying about.  I really don't have time to fool with these kind of people.  Handle it.  You now see it was indeed sent.
Please. See the name is [redacted] and also recognize the date as when I told you it was sent.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  We received payment 1/11/15 and consider this complaint closed.  Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I responded long ago to this complaint.  I said it is over.  She was under a contract she broke and am am not pursuing this issue.  If it continues I will add everything I stated is true and correct in my prior letters.  This is a consumer that has some issues to handle and unfortunately I took the brunt of it.  I have many, many very happy and satisfied customers that I have done business with prior to my mother's illness and after.  It is very sad that a contract and honest handshake and a business owners time mean nothing to some people.  Had she tried discussing the situation with me instead of neighbors she may have had a different outlook.
However, with what I have seen, I am much better off because no matter what I would have done it would have been wrong in her eyes.
Check you records for my response to the previous letters.

Do Not use Simple Solution Estate Sale company. What a horrible experience. This whole business is based on trust as it is pretty much an all cash business, so you are very much trusting the company. Once the sales were completed we asked about our share, we were told, as it was stated in the contract, that we needed to wait 30 days to be paid. Ok, np. six weeks went by and no check. Then we called, emailed etc. no response. 4 weeks late Valerie finally responded, apologized and said would get check out next week. Another week goes by no check and no return of calls etc. Finally 8 weeks overdue, she responded and said would get check out Mon. Another week goes by no check. We finally had to show up at one of their auctions to demand our money. She came with cash an hour later, 9 weeks late and completely unresponsive to our queries. Truly unbelievable. Had we not gone to one of their auctions, who knows if we would have ever gotten paid.

This account was paid.  I need this matter cleared up immediately.

I am rejecting this response because:
I was paid some money.  I believe she still owes us a considerable amount of money for items she sold.  She did not document and provide receipts for a lot of the items that were on the property...

when she has the sales.  I believe she still owes me ( and or the Estate) a few thousing dollars.  I believe she is running an unethical and dishonest business.  The public should be aware of her business ethics and practices because they are very shady.  When you don't and can't provide proper documentation to your clients there is a problem.  We have pictures and a list of all of the items that were on the property and her receipts she provided don't match up to a lot of missing property.  She included in the settlement documentation a line item that just said "cash" - we have no idea if she sold things for what dollar amount, stole items and or gave them away.  [redacted] does not and is not running this business as other Estate sale companies do and to me is running it very criminally.  We plan to proceed with her in court and go after the rest of what she owes us.  I really want other people to know to that it took me hunting her down at another one of her sales and threatening her to get the money she did pay me.  She was overdue by about 70 days in paying me and the fact that I had to phycially go try and recover my money is unacceptable to me.  That is not an acceptable business practice.  Her contract states we were to be paid within 30 days.  She clearly does not pay her accounts or customers In a timely fashion and people need to know that before they sing a contract with her.  They also need to know they might not ever get paid what they are really owed for the items she sells and if they do they might end up having to make threats and struggle to get it.  I am not the only customer she has done this to, there are many others.  Please review her [redacted] reviews too, you will find she is a very bad business to have do your estate sale.

Business states that this account has been paid.

Her cashiers check was mailed quite some time ago.  I notified her of this.  I sent it to the address on the contract and then they stated it was a different address.  They were also sent a...

tracking number.  I totally resent that they have contacted you and claimed I stole from them.

Review: [redacted] of ‘A Simple Solution Estate Sale Company’ came to my house and my mothers’ home for a free consultation about an estate sale at my home on wed. Feb. 24, 2016. I signed, with some pressure from [redacted] the contract to do an estate sale at [redacted]. on March 31, 2016 to 4/3/16 and possibly the next weekend if needed 4/7-4/10. [redacted] said if I had questions to call her. I called [redacted] the next day, Feb 25, 2016 at noon. She was conducting an estate sale and talked to me while she was selling to people. I had a list of questions to clarify what [redacted] had said the day before. [redacted] said she did not say what I had written down and she changed the term, and services she said on Wed 2/24/16 that she would do. [redacted]’s statements were completely different than what she said the day before. She lied to me. On Thurs 2/25/16 my neighbor Lisa Hansen looked [redacted]’s company upon [redacted] (as I do not have a computer). The comments on [redacted] were terrible; stating [redacted] is dishonest, does a terrible estate sale, does not pay people the money she owes them. I tried to call [redacted] on Thurs. 2/25/16 4 pm but she did not answer – I left a message that I was canceling the contract due to lies [redacted] told me and misrepresentation of her business and services provided. I left a message on her phone. [redacted] called my home phone and left threatening messages that she would sue me if I did not go through with the estate sale. I saved all her threatening messages on my phone. On Friday Feb 26, 2016 I cancelled her contract, wrote her a letter; sent it certified mail w/a return receipt requested along with my letter (see copy) canceling her contract and telling her not to post my personal belonging or address on her website. Checking her website nothing was posted Feb 24, 25, or 26, 2016; my neighbor check her website for me (and she printed copies of [redacted]’s site) to show nothing about a sale at my house was posted. [redacted] said she would post on Feb 24, 2016. Late Sat. Feb 27, 2016 my address and personal possessions were posted on her website. [redacted] continued to call my home and left angry threatening messages that she would sue me. Friday Feb 22, 2016 I sent the certified cancel notice. Friday night on [redacted] ‘call [redacted]’ report; he did a report on A Simple Solution Estate Sales she had conducted, dating back to October 2015. The end of [redacted] report it did state since CH13 involvement the people had been paid. [redacted] has continued to call and harass and threaten me. I spoke (I called her back) to tell her I had canceled her contract and with the pending legal actions against her I would not be doing business with her. [redacted] became very angry; threatened me with a law suit. She said she is entitled to ½ of all my possessions in my home and ½ of all the possessions in my mothers home. She said “I could not cheat her out of the money she would make on a sale.” She claims because she came out, took pictures, and I signed a contract with her she is entitled to a lot of money from me.” When [redacted] came on Wed Feb 24, 2016 she said it was a free consultation. When she took pictures of my antiques she said “it was only for her, so she could remember all my things.” When [redacted] was walking through my house she said “you have a gold mine here; we are going to make a lot of money at the sale.” On March 1, 2016 noon [redacted] left a message that “she was now doing the paperwork to file mechanics liens on both my house and I would not be able to move forward with selling my house. She said I better get an attorney as she is suing me.” I do not want to have anything further with this disreputable, horrible woman.Desired Settlement: Stop [redacted] from putting a mechanics lien on my house. Stop [redacted] from suing me and continuing to threaten and harass me. Put [redacted] out of business so she can’t do this to anyone else.

I need your help, I am overwhelmed." I told her the steps for that day were to take an inventory listing and pictures of the items in the houses and garage that were for sale, "if" she decided to use our Services. She said that the property was a mess and I told her that the customers would come to the Sale because of curiosity of what all was there that they could not see. I told her that if she preferred not to move forward I had no problem and we could reschedule for a future date. She said "No, you are the professional and if you can help me go ahead and do what you think is best." I spent about 2 hours with her and went over details. I then asked her if she was ready to pick a date to do the sale and sign the contract. She said "Yes, I need to try to save my mother's house. I am ready to move forward as soon as you can." I need the money so that I can buy my mothers house and move into it. She showed me the items that she was keeping and I made sure to focus on the items for Sale only. This was a 2 or more hour appointment out of my busy schedule and never in any way shape or form have EVER pressured any client to sign a Sale with me. I have plenty of homes that are in clean and in order. Her Estate was right on the edge of a hoarders home, which I have done many of and have the experience to handle. I then opened my calendar planner and she excused herself to get her calendar and I told her that I suggested that we do 2 separate Sales due to the enormity of the items. She agreed that she thought it would take 2 Sales also. We then picked a date together that was convenient for her. I never at any time was pushy or misleading. I sat and filled out the contract with her and then went over it with her line for line. Including where it states right in the contract that ''ANY'' items removed from the Estate after the signing of the contract are billed 50% of the market value. She said that she had already went through everything and was fine with that. I also at that time told her that I have changed my policy and pay all accounts on the closing day of the Sale prior to my leaving the premises if she is able to meet me there because I had gotten behind on some accounts due to family emergencies and never want that to happen again. I could not have been more honest or upfront. She was fine with everything and even hugged me upon my leaving her Estate. And as proof if you look at her contract you will see where there is a line through the time to pay and now reads at the end of the Sale and we initialed that clause. My contract are in plain English and very easy to read with the client and easy for them to read and understand. I then came home between appointments and took another 3 to 4 hours downloading the pictures and typing the inventory of items that were in the Sale. I posted them on all of my advertising websites as I always do. She then called me on Thursday stating that she found more items to include into the Sale. She found fishing items that her father had and other items that she wanted me to add to the advertising list. I told her that I would be glad to and did so upon getting home from the Sale that I was conducting in Yuba City. She also told me that she was thankful that I was helping her and asked if I could move furniture from one home to the other. I told her that I was very sorry but I could not be held liable if anything were to happen and that I was not equipped as a mover. The next day she called and I was unable to answer the telephone due to being on the phone with another client. She left a message sobbing on the other end that she had to cancel the Sale due to her Grandmother becoming ill and she had to go take care of her. I didn't buy that because of the way the message sounded and I immediately returned her call and she did not answer trying to ignore me. I left a message stating that I was sorry about her Grandmother and to be sure to leave a key with someone so that we are able to uphold our legal and binding contract. I called again several times and she would not pick up the telephone or talk with me. I then left a message that I would appreciate a call back so that we were able to discuss the contract as adults. She finally called me back with an entire different tone stating that she would not let me near her home to handle her Estate because she now saw my Company on Channel 13. I told her that I had already told her that I had run late on some accounts and that is why I changed my policy so that it never happened again. I also stated that she is in a legal and binding contract and that if she watched the entire report on 13 she would see where even the anchorman stated that family emergencies happen and could understand and that I am now caught up and changed my policy. The next day my son called me and told me that he signed for a registered letter. Ms. [redacted] took it upon herself to put a line through our signed contract and say cancelled and signed it as if it were in her right to do so. This was not cancelled by me and I did not agree to cancel. I have every right to be treated with respect whether I was human and a bump in the road. Regardless of whether the news did a segment or not I still run a good solid Company and am not dishonest. I had family problems and rectified the entire situation and EVERYONE of my accounts were paid current even prior to the News doing the story. I never was scamming anyone. I simply had my mother ill and was still trying to make sure between being with my mother after her car accident and then being with her in ICU and taking care of my father which is in a walker and taking him to see my mother and taking care of their household and my own and trying to keep my contracts going with Estates I got behind. I took 2 weeks off to get all of my Business affairs current and make sure that I changed my Policy to make sure if anything ever were to happen in the future that it would never happen again. Those are not by any means traits of a person who is trying to run off or scam anyone. I am quite set back by her trying to use the News against me when she called prior to the News showing and told me her Grandmother fell ill and she was cancelling and then after the News ran it changed to that. She either found a less expensive Company or something but it does not even matter the conditions. She has no legal right to cancel the contract and get away without having to pay for her signed commitment. I sent her a letter today registered stating that I was going to take her to court and put mechanics liens against both properties. Ms. [redacted] is trying to use my News review as leverage and cry the o poor me. This is not at all the case. I even told her that she could be present at the Sale. I have done absolutely nothing wrong and am in no way responsible for her actions. Possibly Ms. [redacted] has some type of medical problem that is causing these mood swings. Regardless, of what is causing this I would like you to look over the contract where things have been marked through and by noting that you will see that we sat down together and I explained right above board that I had been late with some accounts and have changed my policy to avoid that ever happening again.I am a business owner that takes my Business very serious and I work 7 days a week and sometimes all night to make sure that I am able to please my clients and customers both.If Ms. [redacted] failed to send you a copy of the signed contract I would be glad to.If you need anything further from me regarding this matter please let me know. I had actually thought about dropping going to my Attorney and forgetting about the mechanics lien but now am considering moving forward with it since she has been so deceptive. She stated to me that she was a Deputy Sheriff. If that is the case then why would she be so scandalous?Sincerely,Valerie Johnson

Response:
