AAA Window, Siding, Doors Reviews (22)

I am rejecting this response because:  First of all, we never gave Kenny permission to come to our residence on that day.  Both of us were working and could not accommodate him. Moreover, he did not do as we asked by calling us to schedule a time so that we could do a walk around together.  The call did end abruptly because my wife was very busy with a client at the moment that Kenny decided he wanted our undivided attention. The last crew that was here assembled a list for Kenny to go through.  In fact, that crew was going to insist that they should be the ones to come back because the previous workers did a sloppy job and that they would clean it up.  So if Kenny doesn't listen to his workers, that isn't our issue, that is a bi-product of deficiencies in the business management's model.  Moreover, to have it come to this back-and-forth is ridiculous.I'm not in customer service, but my wife is and to sit here and defend mistakes that were made within the AAA firm while trying to blame the customer is ridiculous.  I'm sorry we chose a business that doesn't stand by the motto of the customer always being right.  Things would have been so much better AND would have been smooth if AAA would respond to it's customers calls....EVERY TIME and just as important:  Listen to it's workers!  They are on the job site and know better than some guy strolling around in a pick up truck all day telling guys what to do!  I am hesitant to keep up this discussion with this company as it's as fruitless as calling them for support on their "Guarantied(?)" work.  If they want to make us happy they have to first, talk to the crew that work on our house last get the thoughts of what was wrong and secondly, customer service has to dramatically improve.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2016/06/14) */
Mr. [redacted]'s roof was completed on April 20th, 2016. He called me when the installers were completed to let me know he had gotten on the roof, inspected the project and they had done a great job. He signed off on our Company Completion...

Certificate, stating "Great job". The following day Mr. [redacted] called the office with some concerns about a few shingles sticking up a bit. The production manager and project foreman went to his home the same day to inspect the project and assured Mr. [redacted] this was normal. Mr. [redacted] then called the following day with another concern and the production manager and project foreman again went to meet with Mr. [redacted] right away...... This happened about 6 times since the project has been completed. The project has been completed and meets our quality standards. I am attaching a copy of the completion certificate sign by Mr. [redacted], our order from our manufacturer for Mr. [redacted]'s project and the warranty information stating the shingles used at his home are lifetime (50 year) shingles.
Thank you,
[redacted]

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 13, 2016/06/16) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This company has given me nothing but the runaround. In the contract that we signed for the roof I was supposed to be premier shingles. Instead they put on a low grade landmark shingle. We had them examined by several companies and contractors and certainty. They are not the premium shingles they are a low-grade landmark shingle. That's called fraud this company should not be in business they got paid in full they're not following their contract. On the contract it states there is supposed to be box vents there's not one on my roof. They do not want to deal with the problem and they refused to. So we are sending papers off to the attorney general's office to investigate The company.

To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is in response to AAA Window, Siding and Roofing's reply to my complaint. [redacted] states that I called regarding my roof leaking and then later that I said it was not. I did call on May 28th at 7:55pm and then at 8pm and left a message that my roof was leaking. I also text Rich the salesperson and let him know. Someone from AAA called me back at 928pm that night and said he would come out to look at it. I explained to him that it was leaking in my breezeway from the old tin on the valley that they did not change out. They nailed it and made it look like swiss cheese. I told him that it was not pouring, and was it was dripping. I told him it was late and also a holiday weekend and he could come out the first part of the week. He assured me that he would in fact come out the first part of the week. He was very friendly and said that he would take care of the valley. I explained to him that I just want the roof done correctly and taken care of. He said again that he would be out the first part of the week to take care of the problem. This was on Saturday, May 28th. I tried calling him the next day to also let him know about the missing box vents, but got his voicemail. So then I gave him until Weds., 6/1/16 and hadn't heard anything. I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, because it was Memorial weekend. I called the office on 6/1/16, and they said Kenny would call me back. He did not call me back. So I called back on 6/2/16 several times. The last time, a secretary told me that I need to contact their attorney. I asked for the attorney's information and they said they could not give me that and hung up on me. Later I received a letter from their attorney stating that they had fulfilled their contract and to send future correspondence to his office in writing. They have not fulfilled the contract. [redacted] stated that I did not want the box vents. That makes no sense. I did not say that. That means I have no ventilation system on the roof what so ever. That voids out the warranties with the manufacture. Why would I want that? This company has given me the run around. Now I have to hire someone else to fix the problem that they messed up. I've tried working this out with the company, but in return they just lie and are very dishonest. They never keep their word. My roof is in fact leaking, and I have proof to show it. And again I will say that they never put the box vents in that were promised in the contract. I also have proof that they have not called me numerous times to make an appointment to fix the problems. I am the one who has tried to contact them and to try to work this out. I just want my roof done correctly. Considering the price of the roof was about $3000 more than other roofers, I don't think that is too much to ask for.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 32, 2016/08/03) */
We have tried to schedule a meeting with [redacted] several times without success. Each conversation ends with profanity and hanging up. Each time we speak with him, he goes in a different direction with his complaint than the time before. The production manager has tried to pin down a time with [redacted] to come to his home and has been unable to do so with Mr. [redacted].
