It saddens me that Mrs*** felt compelled to file a complaint None of the dates listed in his complaint have any accuracyThe date of purchase was December 6, The problem could not have occurred on December 15, 2014, the windows installation did not start until December
17th and completed on December 21st He states that he talked to our company on January 15, He then states that he has been calling since MarchI know that there are often times different points of view in complaints such as thisOur records indicate that we received not communication from Mr*** until September At that time he advised of a seal failure within one of his window unitsOur service department told him that due to his distance from our office that he could save a lot of travel time if could assist us by taking a photo of the identification sticker located on the window and forwarding it to usThis would provide all necessary information to order replacement partsHe agreed to do soA few weeks passed and he called back asking why we had not been to his homeWe reminded him that he was to have sent us the information, which he had notHe again agreed to send us a photoWe waited and again received no photoIn October he sent a late night profanity laced text message on the mobile device of our service writerHe wanted to know when we were going to fix his windowWhereas we did not receive the photo, we sent a service tech to his home on November 3, to get the information from the stickerWe placed an order for the parts and, due to plant closings for the holidays, we received the parts on January 5, 2016. We reached out to Mr*** today and have scheduled a date for installation

Revdex.com spoke with *** from the company and he stated that they have resolved the complaint with the consumer

The business provided the Revdex.com with a signed certificate of work completed by the customer

Good afternoon [redacted],
When I received this complaint last week I met with our sales and production staff and reached out to [redacted]. While there may have been a disagreement regarding the facts, all concerns and disagreements were discussed and resolved. After a lengthy exchange we...

mutually agreed to continue with the project. Monday morning  our crew returned to the home and installed the the final component. [redacted] and I spoke again after the completion as well as this morning. She said that overall she is please with the project with the exception of a few minor adjustments and the wrong finish on the door handle.  I advised her that I would try to schedule an inspection today and  place a rush order for a brass replacement handle. Upon receipt of the replacement handle I will contact her to schedule a service call.
Best regards,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the AAPCO, LLC (Mr. James S[redacted]) in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There is no need to wait on the electrical inspection before addressing the remaining Fairfax County inspection discrepancies that were noted by Mr. [redacted] (Fairfax County Inspector's Office) on March 10th 2016 (see attached.) The electrical work completed on May 4th and upcoming electrical inspection relate to a simple installation of a GFCI outlet where the exposed wire protruded from the ledger board.
AAPCO, LLC (Mr. S[redacted]) has had plenty of time to schedule the deck installer to come out and work the remaining inspection discrepancies. It has been weeks since the last work was done on the landing and two months since the last failed Residential Footing Inspection on March 10th 2016. These delays are unsatisfactory.
All inspection discrepancies, removal of wood framing around the concrete landing, clean up of excess concrete and dirt piles around the landing and on the last two steps, post cap and fascia board discrepancies (see attachments 2 and 3) needs to be addressed early next week (earliest during week of 9 May).
I'm attaching (3) items to this complaint. The first contains the last two failed residential footing inspections by Fairfax County. I'm also attaching two other photos of discrepancies that need to be resolved. I identified the crooked post cap (attachment 2) as a discrepancy late 2014. I identified the fascia board (attachment 3) as a discrepancy on April 19th 2016.  Thank you.
Regards,
Mr. [redacted]

This pdf is just the certificate of completion signed 09-12-2014, it is not a offer.

It does not address any of the
issues listed on the complaint dated well before the completion date. Is this just an
error?
Is this signed certificate completion document the respondents’ response to my complaint? I can only assume it is as it was sent to you.
If so, please let me know so I can address this issue differently.

I want first to say thank you so much for getting back with me, regarding my complaint, all concerns has not been resolved yet, yes they have been discuss, and yes I did agree to have the patio door completed, with the promises of [redacted] making it right this time, overall we not satisfied with this resolution, we are still waiting on a service call from the company on when they will be returning in finishing up the project, the wrong handle was order for the patio door, almost all of the windows and patio door sliding need recoking, an unproffessional job was done we beleive by this company from the begining of the project. We would like to give [redacted] the opportunity in making it right to our satisfed. I will keep you posted. Thanks for your time in caring. This has been very stressful for me. I have pictures of the unsatisfactory work on the windows and patio door installation. If need.

Good morning [redacted]
I have been advised of the circumstances surrounding [redacted] complaint. Upon the cancellation of the contract a request for a refund check was submitted.  Our staff advised [redacted] that the request had been submitted and that she would be receiving a full...

refund of deposit. [redacted] contacted our office a second time inquiring as to the whereabouts of her refund. She was advised that before we could issue the refund, we verify that her check had been deposited and honored by the bank. Subsequently, a refund check was mailed to [redacted] at her residence.  We make every effort to conduct this process as efficiently as possible. I have placed two calls to the home to confirm receipt and to extend my apology for the length of time this process may have taken but have received no response.
Unless advised to the contrary, I will consider this matter as resolved.
Respectfully submitted,

to the mistake. I have not signed anything. And I don't accept the customer service or the way they let one of their contractors continue to work on my house while under the influence of alcohol after they became aware of the erratic behavior. They did in no way offer a discount or try to make it right with me . A job that was supposed to take a week took 6 weeks. We paid $27,000 for siding and they were not willing to give us a worthy discount for what we endured for 6 weeks with one of their contractors who became biligerent and almost violent. The guy was eventually fired for his actions on our job yet AAPCO did nothing to make it right with us. I am not satisfied

Good afternoon[redacted],
I have been advised of the circumstances around this complaint. It is very unfortunate that this project has not gone as smoothly as it should have. Please extend my apology to [redacted] in that regard.
On the the day before the loss, the crew was removed from the project at...

[redacted] request. We were assured by the installers that the roof was completely dried in before they left. Upon be notified that the storm had caused a leak we immediately dispatched a team to cover the exposed area. By this time, there was already some damage to the ceiling.
We assigned another crew and completed the roof  a few days later.
We take full responsibility for this mishap and have assured [redacted] that we will make the necessary repairs.
At this point we are scheduled to be at the home tomorrow to complete a few minor elements of the original contract and the ceiling.
I will advise you when all is completed.
Best regards,
[redacted]

I am aware of the facts regarding the complaint filed by Mr. [redacted]. I have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] via email last week  and we are working to resolve  all outstanding issues. Although this project has taken far longer than acceptable there have been several factors beyond our...

control contributing to the delay. We are in communication with the county building inspectors office and hope to have this mater resolved and behind us all very soon. At such time I will forward to your attention a signed certificate of completion.Best Regards,

Revdex.com spoke with the business. At this time the customer requested to have the business pay to have a 3rd party come out and repair the drywall. The customer presented the business with three estimates and the process to repair the drywall and paint has begun.

Review: AAPCO was hired to do siding on our house. They sent out a sub contractor who was drinking on the job, he became verbally hostile with my son, and my neighbor. He stole wood from our house after AAPCO up charged us for unforseen wood replacement. They threw trash all over our yard. Left nails in our driveway and debris all over our front porch. They would never clean up after the days work so we could access our front door. When the GM ( Jeff) at AAPCO was notified of the situation he came out to meet with us after the sub contractor named ** had been kicked off the property, Jeff proceeded to not take any action and tell us we were out of luck and basically there was nothing he could do. When Jeff was asked what the name of the sub contractor that ** worked for, Jeff proceeded to say that he didn't know the name of the company that ** worked for, that leads me to believe these sub contractors are not liscensed, bonded or insured. When Jeff was asked about that he said they were but couldn't give me any info of who was on my property working on my house. I don't know if they are legitimate, if they are criminals. Jeff refused to tell me the name of the company the sub contractor worked for ,but did tell me they did not work directly for AAPCO. In the mean time they have not finished my house, a job they said would take no more then a week is going on 3 weeks. They also have already sent us a bill saying we had a payment due on work not yet completed. They told us that they were very professional and we were going to love our siding. Which is totally false. They hire sub contractors that are not professional. They use very vulgar language around my grandkids at my house. My neighbor has complained about the language they use in front of their kids. We told Jeff we did not want this guy at our house and he refused to do anything about it other then tell us oh well if these guys don't finish then you won't have your house finished for at least another week.Desired Settlement: We asked for 15% off our total price. Jeff laughed and said no way. He offered about 3% off which is ridiculous for what we have gone through and all the devious and shady ways they do business
