The student was made aware of Kaplan's refund policy several times throughout her enrollment and does not meet the requirements for a refundAccording to our refund policy, the student would have received a full refund if she cancelled within three days of her enrollment, and a partial refund if the request is made within a set time frame (within days of enrollment).According to our records, the student attended the class sessions and we have no records of complaints about the instructor until after the class has ended The student has been offered a free repeat of her course under the Higher Score Guarantee and an exception has been made allowing her up to years from the current date to enrollWe will not be issuing a refund to this student

This matter was resolved back on February [redacted] 2016; However seeing as the student has now requested to obtain a full refund so that she can study with a different institution, we have decided to honor her request

unsatisfied with the resultAfter speaking with the resolution team, I was informed that due to my persistent calls to KapTest, the representative gave me access to the High-Yield program that was better aimed towards my level of trainingIt was disappointing to hear that in order to actually gain access to a program of benefit, it was necessary for me to continually call the company instead of them being willing to take care of it with just one, or two phone callsI was not compensated for the marked price differential in the programs, even though my percent usage of the original program I was instructed to purchase had less than a week's worth of the recommended usage scheduleThe company's goal to help students do well on board exams was seemingly lost in these interactions and neglected to recognize that the demands of medical school curriculums does not lend to students to spend hours and days on the phone with the company to resolve issues like theseBetter communication between the medical advisors and the sales representatives is needed to prevent situations like these in which students are sold programs that are not of benefit to their level of training

They gave me two new addresses to mail the vouchers to but did not explain why the first two addresses given were incorrect They have not given me the name of the school bursar are the corporate treasurer I have spoken to at least four people who can not or will not identify these two people They claim that they do not know They want me to take the vouchers to the corporate office in New York City or mail them to Texas and then they will find out who to give them to I must wait until they locate the correct person who will not be the bursar are corporate treasurer How long I must wait is not clear

We spoke with student and parent and explained what options were availableThey decided Higher Score Guarantee Free Repeat was the best option and the enrollment was processed

This student's concerns are now resolved, they've decided to keep the course

I spoke with the student and provided all necessary mailing information for the completion of their enrollment

Kaplan's investigation could not have been too extensive because I was quoted a significantly lower price for the course before Kaplan's telephone representative backed out when I tried to actually enrollKaplan says they record all of their telephone encountersI gave them the date of the call so they could review. I've had issues with this company concerning pricing, when my books would be delivered, why my books were delayed, and now regarding the refund amount I could expect because of this whole messIn regard to each issue Kaplan told me one thing only to change their story later

they would honor the original quoted price for the course but instead of refunding me $they only gave me a third of that.
