September 2015Dear [redacted] :I spoke with [redacted] on 9/15/concerning his complaint lodged with the Revdex.comWe discussed the fact that because there was so much time between his service date and his actual complaint, this made it virtually impossible for me to prove or disprove his accusation.I informed him that in the years I have been employed with this company, I have never had an employee use another customer's air filter in order to make a sale with a different customerIn fact the employee who serviced [redacted] 's vehicle has been employed with Lube, incfor more than seven years without one complaint in his personnel fileIn regard to our security cameras, they only have the capacity to hold approximately two weeks of data[redacted] said he requested 5Wconventional [redacted] We do not stock this brand of 5WoilHis [redacted] actually requires 5WoilThis is the required oil that [redacted] states and is the only oil approved by [redacted] The technician installed a synthetic blend 5Woil at no extra charge[redacted] stated that I had satisfied his complaint and agreed it would have been more expedient if he had spoken with the store manager at the time of service. If you have any further questions concerning this complaint, please do not hesitate to contact me at the above address.Regards,John S.Operations Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I have not received a response from the company regarding my multiple emails to them questioning why they were unable to clear the blockageThey are a company that specializes, for decades, in sewer cleaning and yet they were unable to get the job doneYet, the city people who are general knowledge people in a variety of areas had no issuesThe fact that the company would not address my concerns directly with me speaks volumes about their “Professionalism”This is what led me to the Revdex.comAs far as a refund, that was a secondary concernThey did get the sewer partially opened and solved my immediate problemMy primary concern is their business practices and the number of people they may have preyed upon in the past and possibly in the futureIf they can’t completely unblock a sewer that a non professional could, maybe it’s time for new equipment or quit the business

BureauAttention: [redacted]Dispute Resolution SpecialistID [redacted] Dear Ms. [redacted] This is in reply to the above complaint..  We were contacted by the homeowner on Jan. 11, 2018 and went to his home that day.  Customer’s property had a 6” clean out in front of the property by the city sidewalk.  When we opened the 6” cap the riser was full of water to about two feet from the ground level.  We then knew the blockage was located on the street side of the property.  We put the snake into the line and we went into the tree lawn part of the property.  We hit the blockage and were able to clean enough to let the water out.  When we tried to pass the bad spot our sewer machine was not able to go through the blockage.  We tried several times with different cutters and we were not able to get through.  At that time we decided to use the sewer camera to see what kind of blockage was in the line and causing the problem.  We showed it to the home owner and he saw the blockage.  We suggested to the home owner that the opening was not big enough to last for any length of time. That is the reason why we suggested that the particular spot needed to be repaired.  The home owner asked for a written estimate to do repairs and we did supply the estimate.  The sewer machine that is used by the company every day for forty three years takes a cutter with two prongs. (see attached item highlighter).  We did not charge the homeowner for the use of the camera, which cost $200.00.  Also the charge for the sewer cleaning was $225.00 a fair price because we got the sewer open and functioning. Therefore homeowner is not entitled to a refund. Regarding “fraudulent business practices” we only suggested the repair because we could not get through with our sewer machine to make a permanent fix.  Not under any circumstances would we take advantage of a customer.  We have been in business forty three years.    Sincerely, Domenick D[redacted]President

accusation.I informed him that in the 26 years I have been employed with this company, I have never had an employee use another customer's air filter in order to make a sale with a different customer. In fact the employee who serviced [redacted]'s vehicle has been employed with Lube, inc. for more than seven years without one complaint in his personnel file. In regard to our security cameras, they only have the capacity to hold approximately two weeks of data.[redacted] said he requested 5W20 conventional [redacted]. We do not stock this brand of 5W20 oil. His 2006 [redacted] actually requires 5W30 oil. This is the required oil that [redacted] states and is the only oil approved by [redacted]. The technician installed a synthetic blend 5W30 oil at no extra charge.[redacted] stated that I had satisfied his complaint and agreed it would have been more expedient if he had spoken with the store manager at the time of service. If you have any further questions concerning this complaint, please do not hesitate to contact me at the above address.Regards,John S.Operations Manager
