I am rejecting this response because:
I disagree at Able Construction's offer of 50% refund, instead I am willing to settle at 75%. I had sent images as they speak louder than words, Please feel free to review prior attachments.
Able Construction did not solved in anyway my water leak emergence. I understand your company does not work in plumbing but I strongly believe that your staff with the 30 years of experience that they claim to have, should've been more adequately in determining forth their actions, in severe matter like this. Therefore the roof leak as stated was never fixed. I have looked at various web sites on roof repair, attics, ceilings etc. An inspection must be performed to check for water trace, stains and marks. Your staff failed and overlooked this procedure, rather quickly diagnosed the source without thinking of substantial consequences and Able Construction's credibility.
I am looking for a full reimbursement, on the other hand to settle fairly at 75% refund is more than reasonable and most generous. I have paid for a contractor to resolve the source of the leak and now I have to hire someone to replace the bright brick colored shingles on my roof due to the mixed match color and judgment, it looks like patches all along the edges, depreciating the value of my home.
I am not a bad person, it's not my intentions in anyway to harm Able Construction's reputation but as my rights of 100% customer satisfaction.
Thanks to the Revdex.com staff and representatives for giving me the opportunity to present my claim and helping me out in, getting in touch with Able Construction Company. It was very difficult to find, due to the license #'s difference as advertised and misprinted on the contract, the address also as advertised is incorrect. (See attachment)
Thank you, in advance for your understanding to resolve this matter honestly and fair at 75%. If this is not resolved, I am well prepared to take it to the next level.

This company is a sham. Hired them to make a small roof repair. Once I signed a contract and put down deposit, they did not show up to do the work as promised. Once they did show up they started repair and said that the repairs would cost an additional thirty three hundred dollars. Since they had left a hole in my house , I had to have them finish job. He said job would take several days to justify the price. He finished job in half a day when he finally showed up with workers. I had to make several calls to get them return. The address listed on invoice does not exist. They are still in business and advertising in [redacted] and other local ads. I have since checked with other contractors and they said I was overcharged by at least three thousand dollars

To whom it may concern,In concern to customer complaint with ID#[redacted]If we damaged his home with speckles of paint, we have no problem going through our insurance, which is why our business is insured.I believe going through our insurance is a fair solution to the problem.Our deductible for the insurance is $1000.If the customer accepts the $1000 we are willing to cooperate.We believe that we could have cleaned the speckles of paint with much less money and would have been 100% cleaned perfectly but anyways the customer didn't agree to it.As a conclusion, the most our company is willing to pay from the insurance deductible is $1000. Regards,Able Construction

We did what we were supposed to do that was on  the contract we put molding all around indoor and out door porch was not included on the contract to satisfied the customer, on the out door porch we removed the rotted wood and put 1*6 that was very clear on the contract after we did the job 3...

days later she called and complained the house is very old to put more molding around the house

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
The paint could not be removed as per two conversions with professionals in the decking and trex decking industry without compromising the integrity of the finish and it would completely void my 30 year warranty to try and clean this. I will accept the 1000$ towards the deductible that I already paid. Thank you and let me know how soon to expect the payment.

I am rejecting this response because:
The work was not done correctly. They did not indicate to me that I would need any additional work. What they wanted me to do is let them do more work than I needed. I was assure that the work would be done according to what I had requested. My conversation was with Bob. The wood that they place is not even or flush and it has gaps in it. There are also as mentioned before slits in the wood. I paid $1600 for good work in which I did not received. I called Able Construction and spoke to a female that I was not satisfy with the work that was done. This is why I am requesting a reimbursement of the payment I paid, so that I can have it done "Professionally" before winter. They left the light fixture core hanging and the is no molding replacing the one they took down which is leaving the wood pushed-in and a big gap. They never mentioned anything about a painter and putty. Able Construction represents the Revdex.com and should not be telling the untruth. Your business is by word of mouth not lies. Please reimburse me that I may have the work done before it is cold. It has been one month and my house does not look appealing even if it is old. That has nothing to do with it. I try to keep my house up to the city standards.

Review: On November 7, I called Able Construction for a Gutter Cleaning, Base on the fact that the walls were wet inside the first floor bathroom and straight down to the basement (it had been raining the day before) So, I spoke to Ms. [redacted] and she said I will send my guys, Mr [redacted] the head of the team arrived at my house and we immediately brought to his attention, the details and concerns of the water leak. So he climbed up to the roof and he shouted down to me the source of the leak is from the roof and bad shingles. I said to him that I checked the attic and the bathroom second floor and everything was dry. Mr. [redacted] was affirmative by expressing his 30 years experience and came into the house with a brief explanation and estimate of work needed, my concerns was potential damages, The terms of the work and estimate was discussed, his quote was $2.500 and it was over our budget, then lowered again $2,300 not after a while discussing with my son, He lowered the amount again $2,000 but only cash. Mr. [redacted] gave us details of the repairs and it would take 2 days approximately also a $200 deposit was required to begin immediate work. A contract was signed. Mr. [redacted]'s team returned around 3:30 p.m. worked about 2 and half hours maximum, since it was already late and dark. On Saturday November 8th, 2014 around 10:30am One of the workers showed up, Mr. [redacted] came to request the remainder of payment $1,800, He said the repair was done!!! The leak continue... On November 10, My son called the company and Ms. [redacted] was eager to help and that Mr. [redacted] will arrive shortly. No show!!!

On November 11, called spoke to Ms [redacted], again No show!!! On November 12th Ms. [redacted] proceed to speak to supervisor, a worker Mr. [redacted] showed up to check work done and he advised my son that he will discussed with his superior to solve the problem in anyway. Days later I had no choice to hired, [redacted] construction, he found source of the leak and the total of repairs is $1,900.Desired Settlement: Mr. [redacted] confirmed and very affirmative of his trade (30 years of experience) was negligent and poorly work was done, evidently photos were taking by Mr. [redacted] who was sent to overlook Mr. [redacted]'s repair! My opinion Mr. [redacted] was determined to fulfill a work order than to satisfy the customer's needs. Able Construction should've been professional handling this matter, their reputation was to avoid ripping off their loyal customers. I'm requesting the company full refund of amount paid $2,000.

Review: On August 12th 2015 I made a call to Able Construction looking for some work to be done to our gutters and sidewalks. I found their information in a coupon circular I received in the mail, which advertised their services on the front and had some coupons on the back. The next day, an employee came out to give me a free quote, and I mentioned that we had a whole in our siding on the front of the house and asked if he could give a quote for all three things (gutters, siding, and sidewalks). He said he would charge me $1150 for the job and that the coupon, which was for $100 off a $1,000 job, would cover the small whole in our siding and an end cap gutter I didn't notice was missing. I agreed because I was thankful everything could be done at one time. The day we agreed upon, the guys who worked for the man that gave us the quote showed up and didn't know about all of the services that were agreed to be completed. I had to show them which sidewalk pieces had to be broken up, so I did twice, and I noticed after they started breaking the sidewalks, they were breaking the wrong ones! That day, they left with the sidewalks all broken and nothing completed. The next time they came out, they installed our gutters, which they broke off a couple of old style hooks we had on our house. They also began filling the cement without framing the working area or digging up the roots, which is why we needed the sidewalks replaced due to a trip hazard. The men came unprepared and loaned our tools, which I believe a construction company should have. They had to leave mid-job to buy more cement from home depot. They left a duct tape patch on the siding that was supposed to be fixed. The day they left, it was dark out, about 8:20 pm, so we didn't see how poorly the cement was laid. It spilled into the grass, was not level, and the trip hazard still exists. We began calling as soon as we realized how poorly executed the service was, and the issues are still to be resolved.Desired Settlement: We would like a refund because we are not satisfied with the work that was completed, as well as work we paid for that has not been completed at all. The reason we hired them was because our home owner's insurance stated we had lifted sidewalks from tree roots and that it was a trip hazard, so we hired them thinking they were competent to complete the services they advertise. Nothing was done satisfactory, or completely and it is impossible to speak to someone who can resolve our issues because they always say a manager will call us back.

Able Construction came to my home to clean my chimney in January 2015. There were 3 gentlemen who were not at my home more than 30 minutes to clean my chimney. I paid them $125 cash. About a week after they performed the cleaning, our metal chimney cover blew off onto the ground. I called the company back and asked them to please come out and fix it. They agreed and sent 2 of the original guys who performed the work. They looked on the roof at the chimney and said that the cover falling off wasn't a result of their work, because the area they were working on was the chimney pipe NOT the furnace pipe which is where we lost the cover. They offered to charge me $250 to fix it (as if they were doing me a favor)! I told the man it was quite a coincidence that we have been living in the home 4 years and a week after they performed a routine maintenance, the cover just magically blew off!
We have since had a professional come out to reattach the cover. This new gentleman assured me that the cover was in fact put back on incorrectly, and that it was actually from the chimney pipe NOT the furnace. I called the company this morning and asked to speak with a manager who tried to convince me that sometimes the win can blow the covers off. Again I reiterated what a coincidence this all was and let her know I was extremely disappointed in their services and that I would be reporting them to the Revdex.com.
I would strongly recommend NOT using ABEL Construction, as I am certain they are more concerned with making money than doing a good job and fulfilling their customers needs/expectations.
