just by looking at the piece look old.  However this does not disqualify you from filing a claim with our company. Our company provided you with a claim form and indicated on the instructions that the form must be filled out completely.  The form was not filled out completely, an email was sent back to you advising you of this, you asked what specific areas needed to be filled out and we have the correspondence where we responded with you on those details.  You acknowledged the areas that needed to be completed.  As of 03/12/16 we still have not received your updated claim form, in order to proceed with the claim please fill out the form completely and return to our office.  Furthermore the rate that was give to you was based on an hourly rate we a signed contract where you agreed to the hourly rate.  In addition after the move was completed you did call our office and  complained the movers worked slow and we did refunded you $50.00.  However the move only took 4 hours.  Your 2 bedroom home was on the second floor and our staff almost filled up the entire truck.  Maybe you have not moved before or hired movers but this is an intense labor service, and to get your move accomplished in 4 hours is no unreasonable considering the amount of belongings you had.  We are sorry you feel that our service was not up to part with your standards.  Please submit the correct paperwork to our office and we can most certainly handle your claim. Thank You,A&C Brothers Moving###-###-####

Sir, we do apologize about the miscommunication that you are having regarding our services.  However, the contract that we have signed by you indicates the hourly rate of $149.00 plus a one time trip fee of $149.00  I can send you a copy of the signed contract as we keep the original on file, now there was a credit sent back to the payer of the move.  If would like we can contact the payer and ask if they would like for us to cancel the check andsend it to you instead.  However our policy is that refunds go back to the payer of the service, in this case the payer was not you.  Please contact our office if you would like for us to speak with someone directly from the office that providedpayment for the moving service. Thank You, [redacted] [redacted]

the only cost conveyed to me was $250.00 via Mitchel K[redacted] via a phone text. No other fees accompanied that message. At no time was it disclosed that I would not be able to obtain my clothes, if that was known I would of had the PI obtain them. To this date we have only received lies, threats and forged documents trying to explain their behavior. They refuse to send us the original documents and a copy of lease agreements, and any terms. This company is known for the bait and switch tactics, I am not the only person they have done this too. See other reviews via Yelp. In addition, my signature appears on a form stating at what time the movers arrived on the 29th, I wasn't there, only the PI waa present. As another item, on their forged documents, paragraph 4 clearly states" that the company will not offload the contents unless Paid In Full" so via these documents (forged or not) this acknowledgement must mean that they were in fact Paid in full). Another note, L[redacted] stated that he was/has been/or now is contact with Beverly G[redacted] has stolen money, coins, art, other various items and my pets, we are unable to ascertain the extent of this theft because l[redacted] and his company are now co-conspirators and will be trated as such. Art, Neither my husband nor I ever signed off on the final delivery of our items. Our stuff was packed properly as shown in the pictures we sent you. The boxes were smashed on the corners and top, resulting in the broken items. The boxes were in perfect condition when your movers packed them from the first house. If they were not its your job to call that to our attention or note it on our paperwork for you to avoid liability. The broken and scratched items were barely opened from the bubble wrap they were packed in. I called your lead mover Sunday night and expressed my concern for the condition of some of our stuff and the over charge, and again called you the next day. You had many excuses why you took days to return our call. You and your lead man were on the phone when we were forced to sign the credit card charge or you refused to unpack our items. We were also told that an estimated end time was charged along with extra charges you failed tell us before signing. You and your lead man agreed if the charges were in excess of the time spend you would credit us back. You put us off and called me a liar when I told you your men did not work the time charged. Your men also stood around and did nothing while you charged us for those charges. I watched your movers bounce down our stairs totes full of trophies that were wrapped excessively in bubble wrap. As was all of our breakable items. NOT NEWSPAPER as your movers would have used. You are responsible for all the damages done to our items and the over charge you charged to our card, that was more then the credit you refunded us. You lied and your movers damaged our stuff. Your scammers and should be put out of business. At this time we still request a full refund!!

I have never been able to speak to anyone when I called about this issue I was always told the person I need to speak with will call me back and I never got a call vack. Then I also have a receipt that was given to me with a.final price diffrent from the 43$ that they say I now owe which I can provide. I have not once talked to anyone nor did I know about the additional fees that I was charged. I just want the fees waived and the furniture lifted of my plugs and my dresser corrected where they broke the original back peices and replaced with some discolored wood pieces.

Storage, she mentioned how “friendly” and “professional” the movers were. Our client had no problem or complaints with us until the bill was due at the end of the move, especially when we asked if there was anything else she wanted to add to the bill, we do this so the credit card will not have to be run twice in the event of a gratuity. We are not sure as to the “paying for a glowing review” statement means.This is when the customer’s father called our office, using profanities saying for what he helped his daughter with in terms of financially, we better refund her the total amount for the move because of damages which were not disclosed during by the customer during the move. Our Client knew going into this move exactly what our charges are per hour, she signed a Contract of Services agreement before we started the move. Our Client received what we promised.As per State law, our responsibility as a licensed, bonded and insured moving company is to offer the Client .060 per LBS per article. Our operations manager offered the Client $70 as a credit towards her bill, because we want to ensure the satisfaction of our customers. I hired this moving company to move my belongings from my apartment to my new home on September 25th 2015.

The move was fraught with complication from the first moment. They arrived two hours late. Upon arrival the paperwork they asked me to sign did not match their quoted price as agreed before my move date. They explained that they never include supplies in any moving quote, so the quote of $1200 for my full move did not include supplies. I would have to buy those separately either from them or anywhere else. With them being two hours late and my lease up the following day this left me with little choice. They started my move saying they would limit to the supplies included.

They ran out of supplies halfway through. Under duress I asked that they bring more supplies. The manager never brought them. We packed my stuff in garbage bags from under my sink, and finally just put stuff unwrapped on the truck.

The manager showed up an hour after we had started doing this, with no supplies. After a very heated discussion, he left. He explained that he would give me the needed supplies for half price if I would sign a form stating that I would not post anything online disparaging the company. I posted a copy of that form on Yelp, and they removed it. I have it hosted on my own site as well: [redacted]l

I ended up finally getting them to honor the original quote only after the police were called and it became apparent that they would not be allowed to hold my belongings on their truck until I paid in full. I purchased bottled water and pizza for the movers, as the company supplied neither of these, and the movers were working for hours in 90 degree temperatures. I tipped two of the movers $200 for remaining after my move was completed (my stuff mostly dumped in my garage) to help me at least get the bigger pieces of furniture in place.

Forward to today:

With the stress and confusion of that move things have been being unpacked for months. Boxes from my son's room are still not fully unpacked. I got a voicemail on my phone from a gentleman asking if I had lost an iPad. We had not seen my son's [redacted] since the day of the move. The gentleman said [redacted]f our house. I work from home. The only time that iPad could have been removed was by those movers. I filed a police report about this incident, it is with [redacted]. They recommended contacting the Revdex.com to alert other consumers about the fraudulent tactics and theft by this company.

I forgot to mention we caught the crew smoking Marijuana and they thought it was a good Idea to offer it to us as well.

My Apple computer was stolen by A&C brothers and I have all my daughters pictures since birth on it as well as very important document. My move was on oct 20,16 and I have called Art Lopez ( owner) almost every week since, just to get the run around. I've read all the nightmares they have put their costumers through on yelp and other review sites. These people need to be stopped they can't go on stealing, conning, forging, damaging and hiring criminals. I have never been so dissatisfied by an experience received a deceptive quote as far as how the charges would happen. Then told they provide all moving equipment and supplies only later to be charged for them. The equipment broke down in my drive way wasting an hour and a half of my time waiting for them to send someone to fix it. One of the movers doesn't care about your belongings he slid ours across the tile dropped them on the pavement and spent most of his time eating even asked to use our microwave to heat his food. It is my understanding he is the operation managers son so that explains the total disregard for caring all the way around. Had damaged items due to them not having enough furniture pads. They were to assemble our bed 2 days later the footboard falls off as they slid the studs thru made the bed like it was assembled and did not install the bolts. I have never used a company with customer service this bad and guarantee will never use them again. I don't expect them to honor my claim based on the service I have been provided so far. If that changes I will update this review it seems at this point I will have to get my attorney involved to get resolution. I would not recommend this company to anyone go somewhere else the operations manager doesn't care. Nor does the rest of the company save yourself the agony.
