Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below ACE Concrete & Landscaping (Caesar) reached out to me on 8/1/ Upon my request for a full refund, Ace Concrete (Caesar) insisted that they try to fix the driveway Caesar told me he had reached out to his educational instructor and been taught over the phone how to remove and reinstall a top layer of concrete He stated he has never done this type of repair I expressed my concerns that he could make the driveway worse He said he would have no problem refunding me the the $7,for the labor and materials if I was not satisfied He went on to add, he'll have to borrow funds from a friend to reimburse me I still have not received a full refund or even received a date for the proposed repairs I do not accept his resolution Regards, [redacted]

1.  In response to the complaint filed against my company on July 5, 2017 I have come to the conclusion that the incident that is being complained about was in fact an issue with the weather conditions during and after theproject was being done. The resolution that I am proposing is that...

my company will replace the weather damaged portion of the driveway and I will pay for the material and labor to accomplish that job. It will take my company approximately two days, weather permitting. My estimate of the damage area is approximately 20 cubic yards, but I will remove the damaged concrete totally and replace it. I have not actually measured the area and this is only an estimate from my recollection. The finish will match the upper area and be a broom finish.2. The dirt that is referenced in the complaint was placed by the customer after the project was completed and was not stipulated in the contract. The desired settlement from the customer states he wants $2,500 for the dirt and the placement of that dirt. I do not agree with the statement and will not consider paying this back to the customer. It was done without my knowledge or consent to pay. My company did not touch any surrounding dirt, itwas all the same when I first got there and the same when I left.3. Bottom line, I am willing replace the weather damaged area at my own costs, both labor and material. The fact that the concrete was damaged by the rain was unpredictable at best. My company covered the green concretewith plastic before we left but the rain was almost torrential. There was no bad craftsmanship on this project I did speak to the customer on a few occasions after the rain storm to resolve the issues, obviously to no avail. Agost 21 2017 Cesar ortizRespond of the complaint . 1 I Am not going to give no refund on this job the reason is that everything is on materials and labor.2 I talked to the customer that I was going to fix half of the job where the rain ruined it but he sent a message that he doesn't Want me to fix it I don't know what to do and I don't understand what he wants but I can't do nothing for him He said he had a lawyer so I don't know what he means so of we have to go to court that's fine for me  Thanks and have a good day.Sincerely Cesar ortiz
