Ace Window Repair

We called Ace on Wednesday for an estimate to repair/replace a fogged window. He came that very morning. He gave us a reasonable estimate to do the job, and said it might take a week to get the window in. We thought that was a bit long, but not knowing his supplier and workload we thought, it doesn't impact us (it's not like it's broken, and I need it before this afternoons rains come). So we said okay. Much to our surprise, Roger called on Thursday afternoon, told me our window was in and could he stop by on Saturday morning to put it in. WOW, great turnaround time. Our only "knock" on the install would be that they should have cleaned the inside of the window better before putting it in. They cleaned both sides, but there are a lot of fingerprints and smudges on the inside of the window. Rogers's instructions before he left were to wait 2 to 3 days before cleaning the inside of the window so as not to apply outward pressure on the glass which would break the caulking seal. Cleaning the outside was okay, because it pushes the glass back against the caulking allowing for a better seal. We would use Ace again, should we need another window replaced. I would just insist on a better cleaning of the inside of the window before putting it into place.

We needed to have windows balanced. Roger called to let us know he was on his way, I had 3 windows done quickly and reasonably priced. Would highly recommend!

Wow what a wonderful experience with this company. We phoned him at 8:00 am because we had a shattered window. He arrived at 9:00 am . He cuts his own glass and had the window replaced within an hour or so. A quality job done at a reasonable price. Dec 03/2018.

Roger came to my house gave me an estimate and took my broken screen. He returned in less than 24 hours with a completely repaired screen. he replaced 2 balances in another window and lubed all my remaining windows and sliding doors. He was prompt courteous and highly professional. I highly recommend him for anyone with windows in need of repair.
