Adcom Solutions Reviews (%countItem)

I am disappointed with the trite unkempt and unkind woman at the front desk of the Prince Albert Adcom office on South Industrial Drive. I have never met anyone working in customer service who could possibly have been more rude or unhelpful. She gave the definite impression that she couldn't have cared less. Several projects were coming Adcom's way through the work that I do but no way now!

I am so sorry to hear this! I have been in business ni Prince Albert for a long time and take this comment very seriously.

Is there any chance I can get some more info, like what job we were doing / going to do for you,
Were we making a quote for you, what business this was for, etc. etc.
so that I may get a better context of what was happening?

I have been helping those writers I worked with to put together small collections of their writing. My intention was to assist them in finding a printer who would do up a small number of copies of their work. Two of my writers had their work typed up as hard copies but had no digital file so needed their work typed into a file first. They had their work in order and had cover images prepared. I came with these individuals to your office to show what the needed done. The woman there said No,it couldn't be done .It would cost forty dollars an hour for her to type the work into a file and it would take a long time as she was too busy.I said the pieces to be typed up are short, mostly poems and I know from experience how long it would be and it wouldn't take long at all. She said and these are her words- it would be impossible. I tried to get a quote from her but she said she just couldn't say how much it would cost.I came back again with a second client and she was equally unhelpful and he left disappointed. I understand the need to have the work in an electronic file for printing but what I didn't appreciate was her frosty attitude and her complete unwillingness to give any help at all.No quote for the price of printing these small collections, nothing.I have worked with many printers through my work with CMHA,ABI and various writing programs over the years. They have always been courteous and helpful. I guess that is my big problem. This woman has no courtesy toward customers She is unbelievably rude every time I have been there. The one time we did manage to get a small collection done for one of my clients and I looked over the proofs which needed three or four speling errors fixed she said -we aren't editors.. I can't imagine that she helps your business thrive. She needs to be trained in good customer service,a smile,a friendly face,a thank you.

Well, it definitely sounds like things should have been handled much better....
We are a first come - first serve business, so maybe it would have been at least a few days to finish as we do have much on the go right now, but the project but it wouldn't have been horribly long to complete. I like to think we are among the quickest in regards to return times for our projects...
Also, she could have at least quoted the price for printing and left the labor part out and given an estimate or guess for that.
I think she was trying way way to hard to save you money by getting her hands on a digital file and should have just went with the re-typing....(This also prevents any typos from re-transcription so we prefer it when possible)
As far as spelling errors, that is just part of the job... proofs SHOULD have been emailed back and forth prior to printing for double checking punctuation and spelling. This is a standard practice here, and most other places, unless it is a rush order and there isn't time, and I sure hope she at least did that on the old job.
To me, It sounds like she was stressed out, I had quite allot going on those last couple weeks and really wasn't around the office much to help her out, and she was pretty backed up - (certainly no excuse for bad customer service though)
I don't think this is really a complaint for the Revdex.com - It is my understanding that they are more for people who are getting scammed, improperly billed, fake product, etc. etc. moreover, an email to me may have been better served but I guess that is your choice.
All I can do is apologize and keep working with her on her people skills...
