We work diligently to serve all of our customers with the best service possible and information so the customer is aware of all their options.This particular customer did not purchase this vehicle from our dealership. From the information provided to use, they had just...

recently purchased it from an independent used car sales lot. This being an older vehicle with somewhat high mileage, the customer was informed that the vehicle would require numerous repairs for the vehicle to function properly.  When the customer initially visited our dealership on 9-30-17 the mileage on 2001 [redacted] was 138,433.  The customer had the vehicle towed to the dealership as the vehiclewould not start. We performed a diagnostic test on the vehicle and recommended that the vehicle was in need several repairs that included replacing the battery, starter, distributor, spark plug wires, a tune up and an ECT sensor. After communicating with the customer the list of necessary repairs and costs, the customer chose at this time to only approve to have the battery, starter and distributer replaced. The vehicle was running at the time the customer picked it up.  The customer then brought the vehicle in for a second visit on 10/7/17. The customer’s complaint was that the gearshift indicator would not display which gear the vehicle is in. By doing diagnosing tests we verified that the shift indicator was not functioning. The part was discontinued because of the vehicles age and we would have to secure the part from other means She chose not to have any work performed stating that she would take the vehicle back where she bought it.  We did not charge the customer for the $120.00 diagnosis.  The customer’s third visit was on 10-10-17.  The vehicle was towed to our dealership as the check engine light was on. Again after performing more diagnostic testing, we replaced the spark plug wires, repaired the threads in the #3 spark plug hole,  replaced the #3 and 5 spark plugs, installed the missing ETC sensor. All of which was initially recommended on the customer's first visit of which  she declined to have performed. In good faith, trying to assist this customer, we performed all of these repairs at no charge to customer. This was over $900 dollars in parts and repairs. We also did not charge for the towing of the vehicle that was at a cost of $150.00.  She then drove the vehicle home.     We apologize for this customer's experience, but have we work step by step with this customer to assist them with the vehicle by reducing costs, performing service and supplying parts at no charge as well as paying for the towing service. Each time the vehicle was at the dealership the customer was able to drive it away.

 I've gone ahead and emailed a 2nd request. Let's see what the next hold up is again.

We have spoken to [redacted] and we take full responsibility for not having clear and transparent communication.  We will be reimbursing [redacted] $1000.00 for the confusion.

  Please dont for a second think you intimidate me by choosing to go to the local authorities. Just because you choose to make childish accusations does not mean  i am easily intimidated like a child. I wish I could see the face of the authorities when you contact them and tell them that you had your feelings hurt & want to try and make an insult stand as a death threat.  The salesman told me he could not keep the money and said he would refund the full amount.  Also turned out everything the salesman said was a lie, he was just stringing me along hoping to make the sale.  I do not pay to be lied to, I do not have a contract with these people and I was told I would receive a full refund and I will not accept anything less.  James [redacted]

Some how the stock #'s we had were transposed but we have rectified the issue. We have called the customer (Mrs. [redacted])and reached agreement on the original truck below the price on the internet. We have gone over and emailed all of the numbers as far as selling price, trade value, warranty, gap...

and drive out. We will be delivering the truck to Midland Texas to sign the paperwork and bring the trade back so we do not further inconvenience the customer.

Planet Ford 59 refunded customer 100% of the money he paid for the repair order. The concern has been closed..

 I could dig up and screen shot the email where I told you to have the check with the receptionist and you got childish and threatend to call the police if I came. So I told you to mail it then. You can cause me of being dishonest all you want. I've proven my points with opinions like the ford racing parts sales rep & your aftermarket guy. Your service writer is the one who lied to me & you're the even bigger liar giving up for him with your one line trick "it has aftermarket parts". The little one liner that your service department uses to wash it's hands clean of when they don't wanna take responsibility.

They did not go over these things with us for the two hours that they kept telling us they were working on the best deal they could provide us. I was brainwashed into thinking they were working  to help us get a reliable car at the best price.  In addition to the $6040 they removed for extended warranty, extended service plan and the gap insurance , there was an additional $4740 they added to make the cost not be covered by a bank loan. Most of this was junk that we did not want.I want to leave the complaint so that other people will watch for these things and not be sold a bill of goods by car salesmen at this dealership.Sincerely,[redacted]

The customer requested to purchase a van.... THE CUSTOMER requested the van they wanted....We sold them the van....5 days later.......They came back and said this will be work for them. The customer came back into the dealership 3 different times and we tried to help them with a...

THE SALES PERSON GOES TO THE DEALER WHERE THE VEHICLE YOU REQUESTED HAS IN INVENTORY .  WE THE DEALER THEN PURCHASE THAT UNIT WITH A COST TO US THE DEALER .  YOUR EMAIL TO MICHAEL THAT YOU SENT ME SAID YOU WERE GIVING HIM 50.00 FOR HIS EFFORTS  EVEN THOUGH YOU PURCHASED ELSEWHERE .   DEPOSITS TAKEN FOR DEALER TRADES ARE USUALLY NON REFUNDABLE ONCE WE ARRANGE TO PURCHASE THE UNIT . THE DEPOSITE IS A GUARENTEE FOR PURCHASE.   MR KRAMER REFUNED THE DEPOSIT ANYWAY LESS THE MONEY YOU CLEARLY STATED IN YOUR EMAIL TO GIVE THE SALES PERSON. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED ANYTHING ELSE  KRISTI WILLIAMS

The company did send my truck to the service department. They repaired the vehicle that th collision center could not get right. So far I have had no issues since picking up my truck.

We sat with Mr. [redacted] and explained that a blind appraisal
over the phone would only be an estimate of actual value on the trade in, we
looked at all data on the trade once the vehicle was here and determined the
value to be a maximum of 23500.00 which he...

agreed to as long as we took
$12000.00 off MSRP, which we did.  We explained the drive out amount and
he disagreed and wanted 2000.00 less.  The numbers didn’t line up for what
he was asking, every manager looked at this deal including the General Manager
and we exceeded what we would normally do.  We were more than fair in our
negotiations and gave  Mr. [redacted] a deal we wouldn’t normally do but tried
to earn his business in every way.
