The repairman came to repair a leak in the ice-making part of our refrigerator He removed the ice maker itself and told us he would locate another, which he estimated would take five to seven days Two weeks later we phoned him but had to leave a message on his answering machine We called perhaps six more times, always having to leave a message He never returned our calls Finally by chance he answered and told us he had had a problem finding the part for our year old GE Monogram and that we should leave the refrigerator off for days in order for him to complete the repair, which we did, of course losing quite a bit of food, not to mention leaving us with little to eat Four days later he had not come, he had not called, and he did not return our increasingly desperate calls to him My husband had given him a check for $against a $total bill Many calls later my daughter phoned from her house, claiming to need a stove repair and he returned her call immediately She then told him the real purpose of her call and he hung up on her It took a call from our local police to get any action He deducted $for his service call and we were sent a cashier's check for the remaining $reposit

Next Generation Appliance came to my house to fix my ge ref.The tech was very nice he even played with my kids but anyway he was able to fix it the same day gave me a fair price

I was held up for $to get a delivery agent to remove it from the truck, using the liftgate Calling to customer service line (800-468-9999) did not resolve either Was informed I must pay $to have items removed to the ground **MORE PRECISE LANGUAGE NEEDS TO BE USED IN SHIPPING CONFIRMATION IN CONNECTION WITH QUALITYBATH.COM**

Material was being delivered as the crew was tearing off the roof They had all three of our buildings done in days The crew was professional, neat, clean, and very courteous Everything was picked up a couple times a day so we didnt have kids and grandkids tracking anything around They tarped and blanketed our project cars (& camaros)We didnt have any nails or debris left when all was done They took care of our insurance paperwork, and it was absolutely a no hassle and no fuss project I would reccomend them to everyone Very honest, timely, professional, knowledgeable, and fantastic to work with Great job

Very professional work performed with a group of employees that are also fastSupplies were delivered promptly, and the job was done with team work and quality

Daylight Transport Customer since September of then a large shipment was totally destroyed by this "freight" company at their Alabama TerminalWe provided proof that it was mishandled with proper documentation, copy of original delivery slip, pictures before and after and even requested our client to hold on to the damaged merchandise in case Daylight may want to inspectDelivery drop-off driver was in a bad mood and would not allow customer to visually inspect contents of merchandise so our customer made a note on the delivery slip indicating that driver just took off! The NY warehouse has always done an excellent job packaging and handling shipments for us to give to Daylight drivers and this shipment was one of many that we shipped out from this warehouseFrom the start of this claim Daylight Transport was totally uninterested in stepping up to their responsabilityIn short, we eventually received a check in the mail for a fraction of the replacement costWhen we tried to reach out to key decision makers at the company in California they were dead silent -- as in no reply! We finally received a letter in the mail informing us that we have been dropped from their "special rate" discount programNow we are left with paying for the extra thousands of dollars in costs to make up for their negligenceBoth the original and the replacement shipments arrived damageThis company displays an arrogant "take it or leave it" approach towards their customersAll we ever wanted from Daylight Transport was a fair and reasonable settlementWhat we learned from this experience is that we were playing a huge gamble by shipping expensive freight with this company

The dishwasher NEVER worked after the first test cycle.  I  am a single woman . I also work and travel so I don't run the washer more than once a month.  The FIRST time I tried to use it it didn't work.  That is when I called the company and am still waiting for a call back

 I said that I had heard from Next Generation Appliance and that they said that they had sent me a check of $125.  I noted that that was OK if I received the check.  Thus far I have not received 1 cent and my mail is being forwarded. [redacted]

I have filed a complaint against this company because they did not stand by their word. They said that they would send me a refund minus the service call. It has been over 10 business days later and I still have not received the check. This company does not stand by its word. They took advantage of the elderly and if it was not for Revdex.com I would have been scammed. BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!!!

Finally by chance he answered and told us he had had a problem finding the part for our 20 year old GE Monogram and that we should leave the refrigerator off for 2 days in order for him to complete the repair, which we did, of course losing quite a bit of food, not to mention leaving us with little to eat. Four days later he had not come, he had not called, and he did not return our increasingly desperate calls to him. My husband had given him a check for $500 against a $900 total bill. Many calls later my daughter phoned from her house, claiming to need a stove repair and he returned her call immediately. She then told him the real purpose of her call and he hung up on her. It took a call from our local police to get any action. He deducted $150 for his service call and we were sent a cashier's check for the remaining $350 reposit.

Review: Advance came to my home on 09/**/2013 as per my call to evaluate the two problems I had with my appliances.Problm number 1 was the boiler element in my double wall oven was not working. Was quoted $489.00 to repair. Got him to reduce this high price by having him take out a harness that was not needed as he first thought.

Problem number 2 was a freezer door light switch. He told me that I also needed a new compressor for it was on the way out. The door switch we fixed for all it was that some water got into the switch and kept it from sliding. The compressor is still working fine. He wanted $650 for these two repairs.

I told him that I have a repair contract with Choice and I need their approval prior to starting.

I called Choice and they gave me a amount that they will pay me for the boiler element repair which in turn I gave Advance the OK to proceed.

On 09/** I gave Advance my check for $125 that he requested to cover service call and go towards the final repair.

On 10/** I mailed Advance my check for $289 for the balance of the repair not done as of yet. I had to because he insisted that I pay for the parts befor he would order them. I know its not good busness practice but I just wanted to get him over with. He told me it would be a few days befor the part came and he would complete our contract, He mentioned a word a tragic event took place but no facts.

I have called him about a dozen times since and only get a recording and never a return call.Desired Settlement: Finish the job or a total refund of $414.

I am leaving on !!/**/13 but will send him a phor to call who will let him in.

Review: [redacted] of Advanced Appliance.. also called Next Generation Appliance came to my house on August [redacted] 2013 to repair my refrigerator which was not getting cold. He told me it needed a new computer. I paid cash because he told me the terminals were down and he could not process credit card. Three days later my refrigerator stopped working. I called [redacted] several times, left messages, texts. No response EVER! One time I called and upon hearing my complaint I was hung up on and a message machine came on. Needless to say.... I am furious. I paid [redacted] 446.00 for nothing. I called another repair man and he came and fixed my refrigerator for 200.00.Desired Settlement: [redacted] is not licensed to operate. Consumer Affairs has several complaints against this company. I was told his license expired several years ago.

Yes, my complaint has been resolved. This business also goes by the name of Next Generation Appliance. Even though I got my money back this business is still operating without a license.

Review: [redacted] (Last Name?) collected $498.88 from me on 1/**/14 and took away my microwave oven for repairs. (This occurred at my home at [redacted].) He later informed me that the item was UNREPAIRABLE and that he would return my money. When the refund failed to arrive, I contacted him several times by phone and he assured me that he would attend to it immediately. He has failed to do so. Eventually, he stopped answering my phone calls.

I understand that $95.00 was a non-refundable service charge if I decided NOT to go through with the repair. However I DID decide to go through with the repair…and what's more, I have now waited more than 2 month for the return of my money. I feel I am entitled to the return of the FULL AMOUNT of $498.88 for the annoyance and the unprofessional treatment I have received. And…although I do not want the "unrepairable" oven back…how do I know that he hasn't profited from the sale or use of its parts?Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the entire amount of $498.88.

Review: I found this repair service in the yellow pages. Contracted on 5/**/13 to replace a broken computer assembly foe a Viking Wine Cooler. I paid by check $704 with a balance due upon repair of $759. They had to order the part. I was contacted a week later saying that the part had not yet arrived. I have called the number almost daily since then and left messages. The voice mail states they are on the phone and will call back in five minutes. I am still waiting. Please help. Thank you .Desired Settlement: I want a refund for the cost of the computer assembly that I paid for and did not receive.

Review: My icemaker on my refrigerator was broken. The company came and replaced it on June ** with a new icemaker, guaranteed for one year. The new icemaker does not work. Over the past three weeks, I have called the company dozens of times and left voice-mail messages, as well as sent text messages, informing them that the new icemaker did not work and have gotten no response. No person has answered their phones, and no one has returned my calls.Desired Settlement: I would like them to fix the icemaker or refund my money. I paid them a total of $405. And to provide an explanation for why they have refused to respond.
