Review: On 4/*/15 I contacted Next Generation Appliance to repair my washing machine. The Technician ([redacted]) informed me he needed to order 2 parts that would take approximately 10 business days to arrive. The tech informed me I needed to pay for the parts before he could order them. I wrote him a check for $379.28. He returned to fix the washer on 4/**/15 and informed me that a bearing broke off the machine and that I would be better off buying a new washer because he couldn't fix it. He then took the new parts back to his van and told me that I would receive a check in the mail with a couple of days reimbursing me for the unused parts. He said the check would be in the full amount I gave him minus $55.00 for the service visit. As of this writing (5/**/15) I still have not received the money they owe me for the unused parts. I have tried contacting him every day since and he is no longer answering my phone calls. I have left him numerous messages asking him to please return my phone calls and he has not once called me back. I would like my money returned to me and I now feel as though he is simply robbing me of the $324.28 he owes us. The check was cashed and he still has my money. What a terrible way to run a business.Desired Settlement: $324.28

Review: On Friday, September * Next Generation was sent to my house to repair a problem with my gas Jennaire stove top.

I made the appointment with Advanced Appliance Repair in [redacted]. ([redacted]) but Next Generation was sent to my home by that firm. The repairman said I needed a new part and 2 new knobs and that he needed a check to order the parts. I gave him a check for $345( which I have a copy of). That was the amount he asked for. He cashed it on September *. As time went on and I did not hear from him , I called both offices involved. Both my husband and I called many times (perhaps as much as 35-40. Only once did we get a response from the Amagansett office, the man said they were coming the following week which would have been the 3rd week of Sept.. Obviously they never came or called. Finally I called the E. H. police They thought it might be a scam and furnished me with a name ([redacted]), address and telephone number- I continued to call to no avail .Finally, I received 1 part of the order in the mail. Since it is a gas stove top and my husband is 84 and I will be 78 in Dec, we do not feel comfortable installing it ourselves- We also did not receive the 2 knobs. I would like this co. to come and do the work or give me a significant refund so I can hire someone I can trust. The police agreed that the part they sent could not have cost the entire amt. given which I thought included installation. I do not want anyone else to fall for these dishonest business people.Desired Settlement: A PARTIAL REFUND SO THATI CAN HIRE SOMEONE I CAN TRUST TO INSTALL THE PART AND ALSO THEY SHOULD SEND ME THE 2 KNOBS
