Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved.Firstly, I have gone to the office that same day to CANCEL my treatment, not to bargain with the dentistThe patient coordinator was the one I saw and spoke to first before seeing the dentist againSecondly, the dentist did not give me the time and rushed me out of the office stating he won't be able to refund me $for the approval went through (the office did not go into details of what the approval was) and told me he will "see and call me back" with a possibility of lower priceSince the dentist rushed out, I told the patient coordinator before leaving the office that I wanted to cancel itThe patient coordinator told me I read all the docs (including the Invisalign contract) before signing so why cancel it nowI was shocked that there was a contract for InvisalignThe only contract they went over was lending solutionsWhich was signed (along with the other contracts) while the nurse was doing my impressionsThis all did not take hours due to the dentist constantly leaving and entering the office to see their patientsWhen I asked the patient coordinator for the itemized bill or other copies of contracts they claimed I signed, they told me it's not "my right" and to ask "lending solutions for it." The dentist never went through the details of my treatment or what exactly I was paying forHis response now is the first I heard back from him or his office on the exact details of what he charged me forI have the emails I send lending solutions that day to cancel the treatment and they responded me back to give the dentist days to refund and if he doesn't they will reach out to himHe is now saying I went back to the office but when the advocate team from lending solutions tried to intervene he told them I "never went to their office or reached out to them to cancel." So this is a definite "dishonest" response from himThird of all, he didn't recommend this treatmentHe insisted in the last 2-visits to his office that this was the only treatment for meI have crowded teeth to this extra two tooth growingHe told me "no dentist will do a extraction on those teeth without you signing for Invisalign"I was in discomfort and pain due to those two teeth so I wanted any possible way to get them outI trusted his professional consultation thinking this is necassry for me despite the fact I can't afford this treatmentEven when I canceled it with him (on the phone again this time) he told me "he wasn't running a charity and too bad I signed up" and that if I wanted a "full refund to get a letter from a another dentist that they can do a extraction without Invisalign"And I will In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

to whom it may concern: the patient came to us in 2013 for invisalign. as per her contract the invisalign was started and completed with satisfaction. the patient then did not call or show up for any visits until 2015 for check up cleaning. check up was done with two sections of deep scaling but... never showed up for the second two sections of the deep cleaning. she came in again in nov 2015 for a emergency complaining of pain on 19 20. she was quoted the co payments for her root canals and crowns as per her insurance. she said she will comeback to do the work but never showed up. we received the letter from bbb and now we are responding. at this point there is no refunds due the patient has completed all the invisalign trays and the contract has been satisfied. we are happy to transfer her case to another dentist, but in order to transfer her case her new dentist will have to call invisalign and request for that to happen. we are glad to sign any release should invisalign require it. please don't hesitate to write or call should you need anything further.

I am very sorry that she is having a hard time with our office as we always strive to give the best possible care and customer service as our years has revealed. I am also very disappointed of the complaint that is posted by *** *** because it shows total lack of appreciation as
well as several untruth statements. as she has been a patient since we have never as she states forced her to sign or apply for anything. she came in complaining of impacted teeth that are stuck in the gums due to a crowding of her teethshe was explained that best treatment plan that would fit her situation as was in the past and she agreed to do invisalign an several other works that her insurance would cover. she asked for a payment plan and we helped her get a no interest plan that she was happy with. she signed and agreed to all terms and conditions of the loan company as well as the contract that specifically states no refund once the work is started. after and only after that did we start the impressions of her mouth for invisalign. the invisalign impression is not a regular molding but is a special vinal material that has to be used for accuracy since it gets shipped out. the material is very expensive and takes time doing it. further there are bite registration and photos that must be done. we spent more than hours between her paperwork and impressions. furthermore for invisalign the impressionig is the hardest part because the rest is just delivering trays and monitoring therefore it is the longest visitthe patient after leaving came back later and said that her husband wanted to know if we can adjust the price ad I personally said I will do that for her. three days later we get a call from the lending company telling us that she is asking for a refund stating nothing was doneWe agreed to refund k even though we have a contract stating no refunds (that she has a copy of as well as all other documents)we have done everything that Mrschoudhury has asked for except working for free. I understand that she thinks our time, and work is worthless but she is wrong. at this point we have gone beyond the letter of the law and done everything we can do for her. we are confident that she will not be able to get the proper dentistry done with our first getting braces and we are willing to continue her treatment should she decide. we wish you good luck and apologies it did not work out

lets talk truth for once
you dont know the difference between pre autherization and payment
second you did not speak to the insurance company otherwise they would have clarified to you that no payments made on the crown
the work was done in and now the consumer wakes up
lets try telling the truth now
have a good life

there is no refunds at this point but as a courtesy we will replace up to seven trays only should she have lost them the term of the invisalign gave her plenty of time to finish the trays one week each would mean months the case if the pt followed instructions would be finished maximum this is now yet we are willing to give seven trays or transfer case to the doctor of choice nothing in reference to insurance is incorrecttruely

[I have reached out the my dental insurance plan.  I have also reached out to the Dentists, but never returned my call.  I have attached the claim details.  I need to get the x-rays which will provide proof that a crown was never done.  Also, I will provide proof that the Dentists just drilled a hole into the tooth and did not properly seal the tooth or perform the root canal correctly.  An addition to the poorly  done root canal, when I first came to see the dentist he used scare tactics in order for me to fill out a credit form while under duress I accepted because of the pain I was in.  The credit was not approved, and he stated that he will have to remove the tooth and I accepted my fate, however without letting me know, he drilled a hole in the tooth.  In previous dental visit a few months ago the Dentist explained that there was a huge cavity and that it will need to be repaired.  That was the moment I realized that I needed to investigate the work done.  I will need an additional 10 days to provide all proof.]

the patient came in for the first time needing a root canal. the root canal was done and the post as well. the insurance requires we send for a approval before we do the crown and that is what we did. the insurance has not paid for the crown but has approved it to be done . we have not been paid...

from insurance nor did we bill it. what the patient is looking at is the weatherization and not the payment. unfortunately people lack the knowledge of calling the insurance to find out if any errors or even calling the office of service and inquire but instead they take the most aggressive approach. please read what is in your hand first and if you are not sure ask

[Youi signed for invisalign in 2012. The invisalign was started but it was never completed. The office still has unused trays. Visits were made to the dental office located on hillside and I was made to understand that all I will be given few trays at a time and when it slacked I go to the next tray. When I ran into trouble with my tooth during my pregnancy 2013 I came to the new office by Jamaica ave as instructed. Me. Ben m[redacted] wasn't there I was told he was on vacation and another dentist treated me. I was told if I took out my tooth it could ruin my invisalign or I could do something else temporarily. I continued on invisalign as instructed despite my medical issues the whole of 2014. During that time the office never contacted me for follow-up, as far as I knew I was doing what I was told. The same time I ran into problems again early 2015, I was called by the dental office for a reminder about cleaning. Without rehashing what I posted previously I began to reestablish my treatment for invisalign. I came to the office with an obviously infected tooth, told to continue with invisalign, and wait forninsyrance approval for a root canal. I made appointments and went to all. The charge for dental scaling I brought to the attention of my insurance company and per thei description it was never done. I got a basic cleaning one time; remembered because the machine broke down and it was not completed. There was never an appointment to finish up any cleaning. When I did go back for my so called root canal I was told by the dentist I have two to be done, I was first quoted $800 each and then I was told $1200. I rejected the offer and the service because what they quoted and what my insurance company said didn't add up one bit. Thankfully I did get a second opinion and my one root canal was paid for by my insurance company. I went back to the office to collect my trays, they were not given to me, not was it explained why I couldn't receive them. I was told to call him back and after multiple attempts I never received a phone call. After posting with Revdex.com I got a call. As far as I'm concerned, yes there was a contract, but in regards to treatments, maintenance, and 1:1 patient care; very poor and lacking. 8m dissatisfied with the service because there was none. I'm still requesting some form of refund.

Revdex.com:
The dentist office has recently reached out to me to resolve the matter. The dentist provided me with the documents (invoice, all the contracts I signed, etc.) I have asked them for. Even though the office is not giving me a refund for the $1800, the dentist offered to do some procedures (that was needed before invisalign) for that amount. He shared he will not charge my insurance for any extra added amount. We both came to that agreement mutually and I am now satisfied with the dentist office feedback. Thank you for everything!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved.Firstly, I have gone to the office that same day to CANCEL my treatment, not to bargain with the dentist. The patient coordinator was the one I saw and spoke to first before seeing the dentist again. Secondly, the dentist did not give me the time and rushed me out of the office stating he won't be able to refund me $1800 for the approval went through (the office did not go into details of what the approval was) and told me he will "see and call me back" with a possibility of lower price. Since the dentist rushed out, I told the patient coordinator before leaving the office that I wanted to cancel it. The patient coordinator told me I read all the docs (including the Invisalign contract) before signing so why cancel it now. I was shocked that there was a contract for Invisalign. The only contract they went over was lending solutions. Which was signed (along with the other contracts) while the nurse was doing my impressions. This all did not take 2 hours due to the dentist constantly leaving and entering the office to see their patients. When I asked the patient coordinator for the itemized bill or other copies of contracts they claimed I signed, they told me it's not "my right" and to ask "lending solutions for it." The dentist never went through the details of my treatment or what exactly I was paying for. His response now is the first I heard back from him or his office on the exact details of what he charged me for. I have the emails I send lending solutions that day to cancel the treatment and they responded me back to give the dentist 10 days to refund and if he doesn't they will reach out to him. He is now saying I went back to the office but when the advocate team from lending solutions tried to intervene he told them I "never went to their office or reached out to them to cancel." So this is a definite "dishonest" response from him. Third of all, he didn't recommend this treatment. He insisted in the last 2-3 visits to his office that this was the only treatment for me. I have crowded teeth to this extra two tooth growing. He told me "no dentist will do a extraction on those teeth without you signing for Invisalign". I was in discomfort and pain due to those two teeth so I wanted any possible way to get them out. I trusted his professional consultation thinking this is necassry for me despite the fact I can't afford this treatment. Even when I canceled it with him (on the phone again this time) he told me "he wasn't running a charity and too bad I signed up" and that if I wanted a "full refund to get a letter from a another dentist that they can do a extraction without Invisalign". And I will.
