First of all, We would like to apologize for any confusion. We'd also like to point out after pulling the calls that Christie (the owner who made the complaint) was never spoken to. Our office only spoke to a lady named Trish. On the recording, the sales person did clearly identify ourselves as...

Advanced Merchant Services and did not say anything about "terminating their services" just let Trish know her equipment is completely outdated and does not properly accept the EMV "Chip" cards. Trish indicated they are processing with a Nurit 2085 which is not a compliant machine so she sent her the paperwork, got it back before days end.  When Trish called back and didn't want to move forward [redacted] (the sales person) gave her the spiel about her current processor not upgrading her for a year and a half, she still didn't want to move forward, so [redacted] said okay and shredded the paperwork.  Please note; the paperwork has been shredded. It was never even submitted for approval. There was not a credit pull, there will be no billing. We apologize for any confusion however the misunderstanding has been remedied as requested.

We will submit the $35 refund as agreed.

voicemail messages are dishonest. In fact I received another identical, dishonest message on the 17th (two days ago), showing that they have not changed their policy about leaving dishonest messages.

This merchant was approved in July of 2015 and sent the free terminal as requested. We did not receive a cancellation letter or our terminal back until Jan 2016, six months later. The billing was as per the contract based on the services being rendered. We couldn't have cancelled...

the account without a request of cancellation and receipt of our equipment which just occurred this month. Jan 2016 will be the final draft and we will close the account as requested with the final contractual fees. Merchants have 60 days to cancel without any early termination fee, in this case it was over six months. However, as requested we will close the account and process the final bill.

We have already resolved this issue with the merchant and issued the full refund requested.  Regards, Advanced Merchant Services

We outsource our marketing efforts to a National Company that follows the regulations of each State. However, Phone number, ###-###-#### has been removed from our database as requested.

I still hope, in the future, that their representatives, disclose they aren't from people's current provider. Simply hearing or seeing the name isn't very helpful to many who's provider's name is very similar.

not typically do in field, on-site installations. Our equipment is shipped programmed and all you do is plug it in. We do a training on the phone.
Options; we are happy to train the merchant via the telephone or she can return our equipment and we will cancel the account as requested once we've receive it.
It would need to be shipped with a written request to cancel.

I am rejecting this response because:I'm not sure why you're saying this, I called in and they told me they don't charge until second month, I've sent in the request for a refund of $35 but I never said cancel the account.

Billing occurs based on when the merchant account was approved as per the signed agreement. To satisfy the frustration, we are more than willing to refund the amount we charged, $35. We cannot refund fees we didn't charge (a bank nsf)
