All guests that make reservations through our
service are sent a confirmation email detailing the dates of stayThis serves
as a precautionary step to ensure both parties are aware of and have a record
of the newly made orderIf there was an issue with the reservation, we should
have been notified upon receipt of the emailIn this case, we were not made
aware of your desire to stay on the 7th until after your booked date which
prevented us from resolving the matter
In attempt to assist you, we have reached out
to the property to see if they will waive the no show feeUnfortunately the
charge will stand since the hotel held both rooms for the duration of March 6,
for your arrivalAs for the ticket portion of your reservation, those are
still good for use at the park until February If you are planning to
return to the area, we would like to assist you with a hotel gift certificate that
you can setup and redeem on your own

First, I had to institute an investigation into the "suspicious activity" claimed by the business. Which till this day the business has refused to explain. This investigation yielded no merit by the credit card company and seemed suspicious because I being the account holder never claimed any issues with the card the whole time. Second, the business asked a lot of inappropriate questions on the day of the problem to "verify" me. Questions were asked regarding where I was located at that exact moment, what was the name of the hotel I was staying at, what was my room number, how long would I be staying at this hotel. Obviously, if this company is claiming there is fraud on my credit card, then refusing to explain why; the last thing I am going to do is make sure they know I'm not home and for how long so they can do who knows what next. Not even sure how telling them my hotel name and room number was supposed to verify me when the room reservation was under my wife's name. Especially not sure how knowing how long I would be staying at the hotel would determine if I was the actual credit card account holder.Basically, the company "claimed" there was fraud. I am the account holder. There was no fraud. They could of called me back on the original phone number given on the original order if they wanted to verify me. They refused. They instead wanted to call the hotel we were at. That sounded suspicious to me. I paid for tickets. They took the money from my credit card. They refused to give tickets. I called. They again refused to give tickets. They said they would issue credit back. NO CREDIT BACK. I finally had to disputed charge with credit card company. Charge is on a "pending" credit awaiting information from the company. Apparently, the company still refuses to explain to anybody where their accusation of fraud originated from. So, the only credit back the company claims they have issued is a "pending" credit. They took money, claimed scam, then is taking their time to return money. All the while NEVER delivering the product they were paid for.I want them to issue a full refund AND a letter of apology signed from the owner regarding the way their employee and business conducted business. No email. A signed letter in the mail from the owner.

First of all I did not notice dates because I did not travel until the 7th.  I called as soon as I did see dates. Sat. AM.  I would accept an offer of hotel stay if it commensurates with what I paid, or comes close to $ 300.00. What is the hotel stay offer? Where? I would accept a stay in [redacted] or [redacted] area. Anyplace on the east coast close to [redacted] to [redacted] or the [redacted] area.  Three to four hrs. from home.  I contacted [redacted]  in [redacted] and they said they didn"t have anything to do with my reservations.  Please let me know if the hotel stay you are offering has anymore charges to be added and what the dollar amount would be. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

aRes identified this order as suspcious and fraudulent.  The order was cancelled and the credit card used was refunded in full on 7/9/14.   We apologize if this may have been any inconvenience.

This is an internal policy that is not disclosed to consumers.

Again, I am repeating the complaint.Clearly, there was no fraud on the account. I am the account holder. I made the purchase. I went on vacation and could not use what I paid for. The company made no good faith effort to work out the issue to reach a common sense resolution. Obviously, the company made a clear and undeniable error to do what they were paid to do. All they repeatedly do is claim fraud (without any description AND/OR explanation) and claim a refund. Refund with my company shows up as a dispute of charge because of the claim of fraud I had to make from the "claim" from the company. Bottom line; although the company would like to repeat over and over there was "fraud", I would like an explanation of where this accusation came from. This was the first time I had ever used this company, so they cannot say there was any kind of history of fraud. I am the account holder. I never claimed any fraud. The credit card company cleared the charge made by the company. The credit card company NEVER notified advanced reservation systems inc. of any suspicious activity. I NEVER notified anyone about any fraud on the account. So why would advanced reservation systems inc. take my credit card number, address, phone number, and name. Proceed to charge me. Then cancel the transaction. Then go on to question my whole itinerary (what hotel I was at, my room number, length of stay, etc.) to "VERIFY" me as the credit card account holder, basically questions one would ask if you needed to verify how long someone was not going to be home. I ask again, how does asking these questions verify me as the account holder? How does me refusing to answer these question automatically determine fraud? Why not use address, phone number, anything else given during the original transaction to verify the account holder? Isn't that one of the reasons they collect it in the first place? The company needs to explain why and how they determined this false claim of fraud. The company needs to make amends for the inconvenience they caused my family because of their baseless and deceptive claims of fraud. The company needs to send an apology signed from the owner regarding this matter, so that I have proof the owner has been made aware of the company's suspicious business practices. The Revdex.com needs to be made aware of this business's suspicious business practice. (no explanation of claim of fraud, suspicious inappropriate questions to supposedly verify account holders).

Although the fee is in the extra fine print after the booking page and is part of your confirmation process, the first statement the customer reads is "Cancellation Policy:  24 hours prior to arrival", which does not prompt the customer to look into your fine print or assume any fees. The statement should have the $25 penalty added to the language at that spot so it is clear. You are trying to take advantage by not showing the fee there;it doesn't make any difference to the customer why the fee is collected or what your reasons are for needing to charge it.
Regards,
