I hired Poolman about a year ago hoping a bigger company would be a more stable solution to the neighborhood pool guysAnd I wanted a salt water systemThis is the WORST pool company I have worked with in yearsThey never have steady help and the pool boy coming weekly (if they show up) is always different and rarely follows directionsI had a BIG dog who was very protective and I had specific instructions to CALL me or text BEFORE going in my yard On at least a half dozen times, they came in the yard anyway and my dog chased them Communication is terrible They often left the pool fence open or the gate unlocked and I have a one and year old in the house - very dangerousLast week my pump was making a lot of noiseI wrote a note to the pool guy - no reply other than he left a slip stating that he cleaned the basket and did something else although the pool was not cleaned (he was there ten minutes) They rarely would clean the spa so it was always dirty, a result of being lazy I had to CALL THEM about the pool pump and finally someone told me the options of a $repair or $replacementI decided to drain the pool and remodel it entirelyI have waited a week and today I get an email from Maria in "Customer Service": She said: "My apologies, we were just informed this week we will no longer be draining plaster pools Therefore, we cannot drain the pool and will need to be treated with chemicals to clear once the pool equipment is fixed" WHAT POOL COMPANY ON EARTH WON'T DRAIN A POOL? That is ridiculous And what about the Revdex.com rating of A+ for this company who has a 71% NEGATIVE CUSTOMER REVIEW RATING (its going to be higher after this complaint) YOU'RE FIRED POOLMAN! [redacted] (I'm going to hire [redacted] - they are efficient and professionalThey maintain pools and build pools)

On September 27, my wife [redacted] ) contacted Poolman to cancel our service effective the following month on October 1, She spoke with Erica, and was told our service would be cancelled effective the end of the month of September Then in January we received a past due bill from Poolman for the months of October and November My wife called them again and was assured it was a mistake and it would be taken care of Not so, as we again received a past due bill in February for the same two months, as well as late fees added to the account At this time I decided that maybe it was simply a mistake because it was quite possible their billing had sent this bill out prior to the last phone call However, I was wrong when I received a letter from a collections agency noting the account had been put in collections I contacted Poolman yet again, but this time was told that we'd never contacted them and that no one had ever called and cancelled the service effective Octob

We jave jad tjem out to finish or reclean so many times I lost count We jave sevurity cameras and they veryify that they didnt do what they said they didWe canceled our service with themI had to go reset the valvesThey did not back wash poolAnd I reattached pool cleaner and got everything working againIf there was something lower than a I would use thatI wont ever revommemd them and will be making sure when they come to get the salt water equipment that I am watching them They changed out the sand in filter and didn't use the cement to seal the pvcI had to do it

Definitely no stars for this company but unfortunately I have to click on oneWe've had multiple issues with this company over the years, whether it is billing or continuously getting our service date wrong and coming whenever, advising them of issues with salt system at headquarters and them not communicating with their field techs, STILL calling us to let us know they are on their way yet we have been cancelled since May 3rd yet the new owners agreed to keep their salt systemThese mns, took the salt system anyway even after clearly advising not toThe salt system is really the only reason we stayed and put up with them but we could not be happier to no longer be doing business with themIt is now 06.20.18, we still get weekly calls from their technicians advising they are on their wayNow, I just got a call to see what's going on because the technician said we advised we no longer want service, are you kidding?? I continue to tell her to take my phone number off the accounts, especially if my personal information is now on the owner's accounts, because obviously, someone is still getting servicesShe sounded like she had no clue what was going on and then HUNG UP on meI sure called back and got customer service rep Maria on the line, even worse with herI did advise her a complaint would be filed and that I will be reaching out to the ownerNot only did we get confirmation of the cancellation, I have since then emailed every email address I have from them, asking to please take our information off their system with no success, obviously The service is also very mediocre, always something wrong and it takes a while to get things done since their communication just sucksAgain, the only reason we stayed was the deal with the salt system but will never ever recommend this againEven our new homeowners advised that they had a really bad first impression since the salt water system was taken off although they were transferring services to themThey lack communication within their company and do a horrible jobThey ought to hire some professionals in there that know how to communicate and turn this business aroundI will never sign up with them again and do not recommend this to anyoneI would definitely pay higher prices if need to be rather than dealing with such incompetent people

This agency was hired to fix a pool vaccuum head and provide brushing, chemical, and pump blowout services I have contacted the company on several occasions and have sent pictures showing the vacuum head was not working and the pool service was not doneAdditionally I have offered to send video showing this as wellThe company required a debit card for the initial repair of the vacuum head and the servicesWhen they refused to make good on the stuff I paid for, I discontinued my cardThey are billing me for services that were not provided as evidence in photos and video

Here is my not so very favorable review… This company removed a salt water converter without telling me about itI tried calling them for over a week with no responseI had to call the San Diego branch to have them get in touch for meThey did, and shortly thereafter the Phoenix company called meWhen I asked why they did it, their answers because I was delinquent with my paymentThey just do not seem to care about my circumstances which caused the delayI asked them why did not tell me thatThey said that they had left several messages on my answering machineI do not think they did because I check my messages oftenThey told me that I could get it back for an outrageous amount of moneyWhen I checked them on the Revdex.com (which I should have done to begin with) I found out that they are not very reputableAnyway, I feel that they get you hooked on a system and then take it away from youBuyer be warned

We have used Poolman's service for over years and couldn't be happier When we travel, we feel VERY comfortable that our pool will be taken care of properly A few years ago we were in Hawaii and Poolman contacted us about a problem and let us know they would handle the situation and they didWe would't change our pool company for any reason We had a family member start a pool service but we remained with Poolman Thanks for the great service

I have been receiving service from Poolman for quite some time now The price is very reasonable and they provided a salt system that they maintainCan't beat that! Anytime I have an issue with the pool all I have to do is call and I'm taken care of quickly and courteously - and to my satisfactionI highly recommend Poolman to anyone looking to get out of the drudgery of pool maintenance

The technician Steve is excellent guyIf I could leave a tip I wouldI recommend Steve to everybody

A Poolman service man balanced chemicals is our pool just before Thanksgiving He screwed the lid on the filter so tightly that I was unable to take it off to clean the basket, (This was the third time this has happened) Thus, I was unable to back-flush the filter I had to apply a three foot lever to the lid in order to open it! This time, the pressure started to bend the PVC pipe, so I stopped trying to clean the filter and called the Poolman's service number Subsequently, it took five phone calls and conversations with two "managers" and three other employees before someone finally said he'd send a serviceman out to check into the problem All this took a week and a half since the situation began On Tuesday, Dec4th, a manager told me he'd have a serviceman at my house on Wednesday NO ONE SHOWED UP ON WEDNESDAY OR THURSDAY! On Friday, the regular serviceman provided his service, but he left the receipt under water at the bottom of the skimmer basket!
What really upset me was having two managers swear to me that their employees NEVER touched anything but the chemicals in the water! I know this isn't the case because I have on several occasions stood and chatted beside the serviceman while he routinely removed the lid to the filter to check the basket inside!
Three days have passed since the last service and no one from the Poolman company has bothered to follow up to learn if the problem has been resolved They did, however, send their monthly bill on time

Very satisfied with the service of this company and the tech Steve Gutierrez that came to service my pool in coolidge az.explained everything that was needed and the service he had done to the pool...very patient and polite wasn't in a hurry like all the other service pool company I had before...overall every satisfied I choose this company

Steve does a very professional job and is always willingto go beyond his assigned duty to help you and always answers any questions you might have pertaining to his job

Our pool technician diagnosed the problem and repaired our pump expertly and quicklyHis communication was very professional and clearHe even went out of his way to do us a big favorWe will definitely call on the Poolman again if we have any other pool problems

Steve always does a great job on my poolHe's very reliable as well as knowledgeableI highly recommend his services to anyone

Our community pool needed tile repaired so Poolman drained the pool the first part of Decand now Dec27, the tile work is done but the pool is still half fullAnd they emailed our management company that maybe a resident could drag a hose over and fill the poolReally isn't it Poolman's responsiblity to fill the pool up after the repair? We will be looking for a new pool service soon

I've been using chris from pool man for over years maybe 5And he and his company have never ever let me down..I've never been overcharged or felt to be taken advantaged ofChris always fixes whatever problem I have and makes sure to go over every detail with me..You cannot go wrong with chris and pool man
