I am rejecting this response because: The response was exactly what I expected it to be.  Anyone who genuinely cares about their image or customers' experiences would have owed up to their mistake (which again, I truly believe was intentional) and honored the listed price, rather than creating such a hostile and unprofessional situation as this. The word "crybaby" comes to mind.  As stated in my original complaint, I believe this to be an ongoing, intentional issue with this business.  I made the dealership aware of my complaints while I was there.  I asked for confirmation of the price several times when I arrived, and the salesperson confirmed with someone (I assumed was a manager) well before we began the appraisal process.  They had every opportunity to resolve the issue during the two hours I waited.  I have also filed formal complaints with Ford headquarters as well as the State District Attorney.  My only goal in this is to make others aware of the issue and encourage the dealership to develop more ethical and customer oriented business practices.  I also believe it was rather inconsiderate to knowingly wait so long before bringing the matter to my attention, and that I my complaints were dismissed rudely.  Therefore, regarding "consideration": I owe them none.

This was none of Covert Ford's responsibility whatsoever but so we can all move along we will refund the $80.00.  Please get in touch with [redacted] in service and he will handle it.

I am rejecting this response because: I am still having the same issue plus a few more I have been having since April. I don’t understand I did not purchase the truck from ford I purchased it from covert ford. They should stand behind the product they sell. If they are not able to stand behind it they should not sell it.  Yes I was a long time customer to covert ford and not only have I purchased probably 20 vehicles from them between mew my wife and my company I have probably sent twice that many to deal with [redacted]. This is the reason I thought I would get a little better treatment. [redacted] did offer to trade my brand new truck in for another just like it if I paid them 12,000.00. they cant fix it. They will not stand behind it. And im supposed to pay 12,000.00 to get out of it. Poor customer service. As far as [redacted] reaching out to me I did talk to him one time I called him but was told sorry cant do anything about this, other than keep trying to repair it or trade it in as mentioned above .  As far as the dealership being so far the covert ford on [redacted] is closer to me but have been flat out lied to by their service writers so I don’t feel comfortable taking it there.  I own a [redacted] and if I install a unit and it does not perform as I promised after the 3rd time out I am replacing it. Yes a complete hvac system is not as much as this truck but ill bet my profit is not as much either and I sell a couple hundred a year verses covert prob selling a few thousand.in short why do I purchase from a dealership if they in no way have to stand behind the product they sell

We do not believe that the interior rust in the vehicle is at an accelerated state.  Again, this is something we see often, even on vehicles that have not had interior water.  The warped panel is also something that we have seen numerous times of vehicles that have not had water in the interior.  We do not believe that the warped panel was due to excessive water either.  We feel that we have done everything we can do to put the vehicle to as close as a used vehicle can be to factory specifications. Thank you,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:
According to the service writer who also claimed that rust in the interior of the vehicle can happen over time, the rust in our vehicle is at the least in an accelerated stage. An per the service manager who supervised the repaired on the rear seats, the reason for the components breaking were due to a warped panel. The panel was warped due to excessive moister in the vehicle. There is also the issue of the taking an excessive amount of time to make what repairs were made and the main issue of leavin the water in the vehicle in the first place which is going to lead to future issues. Which has already happened.

Review: ADVANTAGE MOVERS was chosen to do my interstate moving company by ALL AROUND MOVING NYC. Basically ADVANTAGE MOVERS lost a large piece of Art 38X40 size canvas during my delivery to my home in [redacted], Florida from New York City. Furthermore on the agreement and binding documents it clearly states "CARRIER TO PACK DESK LAMP"-$25.00 FEE. My desk lamp arrived to my apartment building unpacked not in box or packed and had a piece detached from it which the mover acknowledged and told me "... it had fallen off .."and did not know how to "put it back on...". I am very upset and it is disappointing to have ever selected this movers to do my interstate move it took them over 15 days to deliver my belongings and they lost a large piece of artwork.Desired Settlement: I would like my painting replaced it was a one of a kind print.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Advantage Movers regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[redacted] from the claims department at Advantage Movers has not responded to my phone calls and messages and neither has [redacted] of the moving company [redacted]. The issue is not resolved by any means and continues to drag and drag week after week because of their inability to do things professionally and correctly. I have never communicated to them (Advantage Movers) that I was declining a settlement in their part of $60.00 for the loss of my expensive painting. I never filled out any documents where I refuse and turned down such offer-if they so claim that I did then I would like to see the copies of such documents with my signature on the document.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have not received the painting that was lost during the move from New York City to Fort Lauderdale close to a year ago. After ALL AROUND MOVING accused me directly of scheming and making up the story that the painting was lost and that I had it in my possession all along just to collect money from the business. ALL AROUND MOVING confessed that they had delivered and located the painting in the wrong city. My painting was delivered to a home in Palm Beach instead of Fort Lauderdale. The business is asking me to go to Palm Beach to retrieve the painting unfortunately I do not have the means of owning a car so I can not drive up north to pick up the painting.

I feel that the painting should be deliver to me after all it was the responsibility of the business to make sure that I ( customer) receive all items listed on the moving list when they left New York City for Florida. What I am asking is that the business instead of refunding me the $25.00 fee for the lamp that was not packed use that towards paying UPS to ship it to my address. Have the lady in Palm Beach ship it via UPS and reimburse her for the shipping costs.

I think this will resolve this claim in fairness for both parties concerned given that businesses was in error and completely delivered the item (painting) to a different address other than my own.
