Dear [redacted] : In response to case ID # [redacted] submitted on 09/25/2017, concerning a Kawasaki ZX600VIN # [redacted] On July 1st, a traveler passing through our town, stopped at our motorsports dealership needing repairs for what he thought was a coolant leak on his Kawasaki ZXmotorcycleUpon arrival, our company staff present that day were very shocked and surprised that the customer had ridden the motorcycle all the way from New MexicoThe bike was in very poor condition, with bald tires front and rear, broken fairing that had been zip tied together and a broken mirror ectOverall, the motorcycle was in very rough conditionThe traveler informed our staff that he had very little money for the repair and needed to get to Seattle Washington for a job interview ASAPThe owner of the business offered the use of the company tools so the customer could remove the fuel tank and fairing himself which would save him moneyWhen the customer had finished, one of our qualified motorcycle mechanics assessed the issue and found the problem to be oil leaking from the valve cover gasket and several o-ringsThe technician informed the customer that he could simply purchase a quart of oil and check it at each stop, filling if neededThe customer agreed and the technician assisted the customer in reinstalling the tank and body panels free of chargeThe customer was grateful and tipped the technician $and purchased a quart of oilBefore leaving, the customer phoned a friend and decided to leave the bike with us for proper repairHe would pick the bike up at a later date and would catch a ride with his friend for his interview in SeattleWe did not hear from him againThe bike sat untouched and unrepaired, in our indoor storage facility until late August At that time we were contacted by the owner of the bike, which was the travelers former girlfriendShe wanted the bike to be repaired at which time an estimate for repairing the oil leaks was givenShe agreed to the repair estimateOnce the work on the oil leaks had been completed, the owner of the bike was called and the service manager informed her of additional safety issues that were in need of repairShe was asked if she wanted to replace the broken mirror and repair the non working rear brake pedalDuring that phone call with the service manager, she mentioned that the bike had fallen over during transport and the mirror had been broken at that timeShe declined the necessary repairsThe very next day she (the owner of the bike) called back and informed us that the bike was in good condition with no broken mirror ectwhen her boyfriend had initially left it at our dealershipAs mentioned previously, when the motorcycle was first brought in to our dealership by the traveler, the technician working on the bike, myself (the owner), the service writer and the parts manager all commented on the extremely poor and unsafe condition of the motorcycleThis is the first complaint we have received in the years that we have been affiliated with the Revdex.comWe pride ourselves on our customer serviceWe do everything possible to be fair and honest with our customers, especially travelersMany of us here have been in similar situations where a break down occurs far from home.We understand this type of situation and strive to treat others as we would like to be treatedAdditionally, if damage occurred during our possession of any customers machine, the customer would be notified of the damages that we caused and our dealership would take care of the parts and labor to repair any damage inflictedWe did not damage this motorcycle in anywayWecompleted the repairs as agreed upon with the owner of the motorcycleThis is a frivolous complaintthat directly contradicts our long standing commitment of honesty, integrity and fairness that we strive to give all of our customersTherefore we feel that this requires no resolution on our part Regards, Wes W***Adventure MotorsportsKimberly RoadTwin Falls, Idaho 83301(208) 733-
