Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:I was called by Scott who told me he would look into the situation and get back to me. I have had to call again, and not only have not heard back as he said, but have not heard back...

from multiple phone messages I gave left. After being told I couldn't afford the bike I paid cash for by the sales manager,  given a "safety" inspection where it was blatantly not passing safety issues ( no turn signals, s pedometer not working, dirty oil), ignored until claim filed then ignored again, the business practices of Adventure Motorsports is horrible and I believe every motorbike rider in the area should know. I am not satisfied with this outcome at all. nothing has been done at all.I offered to pay half of the bill for the repairs done and although initially they agreed, charged us full amount anyway in order to get my bike bike. That is not a solution.I hope people are warned and I plan to continue to do my part to make that happen.Sincerely,[redacted]

Dear [redacted]: In response to case ID #[redacted] submitted on 09/25/2017, concerning a 2007 Kawasaki ZX600VIN # [redacted].  On July 1st, 2017 a traveler passing through our town, stopped at our motorsports dealership needing repairs for what he thought was a coolant leak...

on his 2007 Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle. Upon arrival, our company staff present that day were very shocked and surprised that the customer had ridden the motorcycle all the way from New Mexico. The bike was in very poor condition, with bald tires front and rear, broken fairing that had been zip tied together and a broken mirror ect... Overall, the motorcycle was in very rough condition. The traveler informed our staff that he had very little money for the repair and needed to get to Seattle Washington for a job interview ASAP. The owner of the business offered the use of the company tools so the customer could remove the fuel tank and fairing himself which would save him money. When the customer had finished, one of our qualified motorcycle mechanics assessed the issue and found the problem to be oil leaking from the valve cover gasket and several o-rings. The technician informed the customer that he could simply purchase a quart of oil and check it at each stop, filling if needed. The customer agreed and the technician assisted the customer in reinstalling the tank and body panels free of charge. The customer was grateful and tipped the technician $20.00 and purchased a quart of oil. Before leaving, the customer phoned a friend and decided to leave the bike with us for proper repair. He would pick the bike up at a later date and would catch a ride with his friend for his interview in Seattle. We did not hear from him again. The bike sat untouched and unrepaired, in our indoor storage facility until late August 2017. At that time we were contacted by the owner of the bike, which was the travelers former girlfriend. She wanted the bike to be repaired at which time an estimate for repairing the oil leaks was given. She agreed to the repair estimate. Once the work on the oil leaks had been completed, the owner of the bike was called and the service manager informed her of additional safety issues that were in need of repair. She was asked if she wanted to replace the broken mirror and repair the non working rear brake pedal. During that phone call with the service manager, she mentioned that the bike had fallen over during transport and the mirror had been broken at that time. She declined the necessary repairs. The very next day she (the owner of the bike) called back and informed us that the bike was in good condition with no broken mirror ect... when her boyfriend had initially left it at our dealership. As mentioned previously, when the motorcycle was first brought in to our dealership by the traveler, the technician working on the bike, myself (the owner), the service writer and the parts manager all commented on the extremely poor and unsafe condition of the motorcycle. This is the first complaint we have received in the 34 years that we have been affiliated with the Revdex.com. We pride ourselves on our customer service. We do everything possible to be fair and honest with our customers, especially travelers. Many of us here have been in similar situations where a break down occurs far from home.We understand this type of situation and strive to treat others as we would like to be treated. Additionally, if damage occurred during our possession of any customers machine, the customer would be notified of the damages that we caused and our dealership would take care of the parts and labor to repair any damage inflicted. We did not damage this motorcycle in anyway. Wecompleted the repairs as agreed upon with the owner of the motorcycle. This is a frivolous complaintthat directly contradicts our long standing commitment of honesty, integrity and fairness that we strive to give all of our customers. Therefore we feel that this requires no resolution on our part.  Regards, Wes W[redacted]Adventure Motorsports2469 Kimberly RoadTwin Falls, Idaho 83301(208) 733-5072
