Advocate Construction was the first contractor I've ever worked with, and after my experience with them, I know I'll be using them again for any future home needs Both Mike and Zach were incredibly helpful and friendly contacts during the entire process of getting my roof, siding, and gutters replaced They also worked very well with my insurance from the beginning of the claim to the final payment Now, our house looks great, and we know we definitely added a great value

I had a horrible experience working with a company I thought I properly vetted though Revdex.com I chose to do business with Advocate based on its Revdex.com ratingUnfortunately they have been anything but reputable in their dealings with meLeo *** came to my house offering a free inspection roofing inspection for hail damageI was busy at the time but called a few weeks later and his manager Jordan came by and did the inspectionI was promised their company would advocate for me with my home insurance companyOn the day of the inspection, I was working from home attending a series of conference callsI was pressured to sign a document I was told by Jordan was needed to give Advocate the right to speak to my insurance companyI thought that was strange since I made the call to my insurance company to make a hail damage claim in front of themEverything he said was a lieAfter reviewing the document I signed later that evening, I realized it was a contract that locked me into a roofing job with substantial penalties for cancellingI had never even received an estimate from themWhy would I sign a contract with them? I already knew that IL law gives consumers business days to cancel contracts initiated by home solicitors but noticed Jordan conveniently ommitted the cancellation form in the papers he left behindI created my own cancellation form,and sent it in by registered mailI received a call from Leo a few days later while I was out of town and explained that the practice for roofing jobs is for vendors to solicit a few estimates for work and then the consumer decidesSince Advocate had a great Revdex.com review I was satisfied with awarding them to the work once approved by my insurance companyLeo came to again on July 13th and shook my hand and explained his roofer world meet with my claims adjuster that following Saturday at 9amNobody from Advocate showed upWhen I called Leo he said his person was lateHe called me back about minutes to an hour later and said no one was coming because I was removed from the scheduleNow he no longer returns my calls at allI can't believe this is how they do businessSo disappointing!

I got my entire roof replaced through Advocate Construction I had attempted to replace my roof times in the past unsuccessfully partly due to the previous contractors not making a convincing case to the insurance company The sales associate I we worked with (Leo ***) was very helpful and worked very hard on our behalf to get us approved He was courteous and responsive Work was performed promptly and well Job was completed in days and workers cleaned up very well Financial transactions with Advocate also went smoothly with no surprises I would highly recommend Advocate Construction for roof replacement

Response to complaint # *** Our customer had written with their concerns about billing and workmanship. Advocate Construction has
reconciled both issues with the customer. After reading the customer’s statement of their problems Advocate Construction set a meeting to look at the workmanship concern and address the billing miscommunicationThis meeting was set on 7/8/the day the Revdex.com contacted us. Once the concern with the gutter guard installation was known to Advocate Construction it was addressed on the next business day (7/11/16)The billing concern was a simple misunderstanding of how insurance companies are billed and how to read the adjuster summary. First, it was stated in file # *** that similar size homes in the area had billable amounts that were vastly different. It was clarified how similar sized homes can have vastly different scopes of workSecondly, the customers had several billing concerns. All were addressed on 7/8/in a face to face meeting. It needs to be clear that Advocate Construction does not pay for anyone’s deductibleIn this case we were able to offset the deductible with monies given in the insurance estimate for line items not performed by Advocate Construction, as had been agreed upon. The billing of this project was particularly difficult because there were multiple estimates sent from the insurance company Each estimate had different breakdowns. Listed in different ways so comparing apples to apples took a sit down meeting and line by line analysis coupled with an explanatory call to the insurance company to clear up any confusionThis was done and the customer now understands how their bill was formed, and that it is correct Thank you for allowing us the opportunity of resolve this misunderstanding, Sincerely, *** ** *** ***

Advocate Construction did an excellent job on my siding repair to my home They were very courteous and responsive to my concerns It was a good company

Advocate Construction Exceeded our Expectations!
Our home recently experienced hail damage, and Advocate Construction took care of everything Their sales manager, JD ***, was very knowledgeable, professional and responsive He partnered with us to throughout the entire process in working with the insurance company, and followed up with us every step of the way to ensure everything went smooth The construction crew was also very professional and thorough, and did a great job not only putting on our new roof, but also making sure all debris and nails were cleaned up as well
We are very pleased with our new roof, and would highly recommend Advocate Construction to all of our friends and neighbors

On solicitation by one of Advocate Construction Claim Advocate I signed a agreement on 09-15-2016 for Roof Replacement subject to Insurance approval for hail damage. Everything went OK till such time the roof was replaced on 10-11-2016.
Over a month has lapsed since then and there is no contact from the company. I have left multiple written messages and voice mails for the Claims Advocate and the Production Manager but no response till now.
I have neither received the completed invoice nor the Warranty papers.
When I call the office it goes through various options and finally to leave a voicemail which is never responded.
Having frustrated I had approached my insurance agent who offered help and called Advocate during the week of 7th Nov and selected the option for New Customer/Free Roof Estimate and then the line was picked. Advocate promised him to send the invoice by the end of the week but still not received even after 10-12 days.
I have concerns about the work and wanted to show it to the Claims Advocate but to no avail.
My worry is about the After Sales Service from Advocate. If this is the response immediately after service then what can be expected going forward with the warranty of ten years.

Advocate Construction Rocked My Home! Huge Fans of these guys and the service they provide along with the quality of their work. Initially I thought this was a scam but Jordan and his team made a believer out of me. My home looks brand new. The new roof and siding added so much character to the house. I've gotten compliments from just about every neighbor around me.
