new home buyer 1st home and I got the home warranty, not even a mouth in my AC unit broke called them to come out and since it had just been maintenance buy another that they wouldn't cover it and that we would have to call the original people pack the original people fixed it so hard it was fine but and then it breaks down right before winter and now I'm getting the run around

I have been with AFC Home Club for years nowThey are always attentive and have technicans to my home within hoursJust last week I had a major plumbing issue repaired and it costs over $which they paid for
Then two weeks later my dishwasher went out, they offered to have it repaired or replaced since it was so old I just went with replacement
I like knowing there is always someone I can talk to anytime of day and submit claimsI have already recommended them to my mother in law and I plan on being a lifetime client

AFC has been servicing my family home for several years nowEach time it is a pleasant experience and my repair is done by a dependable companyI bought one for my mom for Christmas and recommend them to anyone on a tight budget

I have been a member with AFC for years nowIn my experience each year the customer service and product coverage has increased in value, my price has stayed the same but the service gets better and betterMy Rep has been the same the whole way through so this tells me they must be treating their employees and members right! I have had about two services a year and each time someone is to my mom within hours and my appliance is fixedOne time my washer went out twice within months and they didn't even make me pay a service fee ! I continue to recommend this company I am glad I found one of the good ones

Buyer beware This company will do everything in their power to not pay a claim I had a leak behind my washer and dryer and they informed me they do not fix galvanized drain lines I explained to them that it isn't a galvanized drain line They wouldn't call me back I tried multiple times
Then I had to file another claim on my bathroom sink plumbing and they nit picked it until they could find a reason not to fix itIt gets even worse though because as this claim on my bathroom sink was being processed they decided the first plumber they sent out was too expensive and delayed it another week until another plumber who could fix it cheaper Both plumbers told me they've never been interrogated by a warranty company so much and it was very weird I have used other home warranty companies, First American and Fidelity, in the past and both have been great! This one is horrible use at your own risk!!!!

The customer service I received from Erin was excellent She asked questions to make sure she input the right information to get the job done I will recommend your company to others

Amanda at AFC Home Club was helpful and clear in what they could do to help us with our aging AC Unit Now that the unit is fixed, we feel like we have a partner who can help us should any situation arise with a very expensive repair

I am a new customer of AFC Home Club this year, and I was not sure what type of services I would encounter when we had to file claims. I am happy to report that I have had two very good experiences with them. Carla, the representative I have been working with, is very friendly, responsive, and professional. She followed up with all of my questions. Their coverage is reasonable, and they allow me to use my existing vendor to do the repair. No hassles at all. I highly recommend Carla and AFC Home Club service.

Extremely prompt service. Had issue with my refrigerator. Called the service department in the morning. They had the local technician followup and we got the issue was resolved within 6 hours, the same day!

READ THE FINE PRINT.. It all sounds good up front but there are so many got yas it is unbelievable. I purchased what was a deluxe premium plan with additional protection. On the first request, months after purchasing the plan, I found that my HVAC system was not covered because it did not have a certified pre inspection report and service. The next several weeks later, a request for service on an appliance and found that because it was covered under manufacturers warranty, I, as the owner, had to contact manufacturer to a get part sent to me. Paid for that call out of pocket. In addition to 2000 for A/C repair. So after paying close to a grand a year for insurance of which not much is really covered because of their exceptions I feel I was fleeced. I am out the service of an appliance now for over a month and will just replace it, as opposed to spending the rest of my time on hold with a 800 support line to nowhere to get another tech to come and agree that the part is bad and a two to three week order period, then a schedule to come and install. This is premium customer service from this company that they "let" you pay them extra for.

I am client of AFC and I recently had a leak in my house. the company sent out a plumber and he wasn't accurate with his assessment and I requested a second opinion. AFC was able to send out another plumber. Although I was a little frustrated with the first plumber sent, I did appreciate the customer service provided by AFC and their quickness to correct the issue. They quickly contacted me and even offered to pay the diagnostic fee for the 2nd plumber.
Thankfully the second plumber was able to diagnose the problem quickly and fix it.
AFC quickly approved the fix and all is good. I even got a call back to make sure I was happy with service from the second plumber.

I purchased a home warranty from AFC for both of my homes, one in which a tenant was staying in March 2015. August 2015, I called to advise AFC that the A/C unit where my tenant is staying was out. They took 3days to respond, after I made several subsequent calls to indicate it was an emergency (96deg weather is an emergency with no A/C). The response I received on the 3rd day was an email indicating I needed to submit paperwork showing the maintenance had been performed on the unit. This should have been requested on one of the calls I made to report the issue, in order to expedite the process. I paid for the repair of the A/C unit out of my own funds and am currently taking strides to cancel both of my accounts with this company. I anticipate a full refund minus 3mos of use and $50 cancellation fee. A price worth paying to get as far away from this company as I can. Even in emergency situations, I shudder to think what the response would have been if I had water leaking in my home. This company drags their feet. I have no desire to continue a business relationship with them.

I had American Home Shield as a warranty company prior to them, I only left because I wanted to try another company. I would recommend American Home Shield over this company any day. Their customer service is light-years ahead of America's first choice.

I purchased a gold plan 3 year home warranty and paid it in full on 03/20/2015. When I spoke to the sales representative, they said they back their reputation and fix anything and everything with a $60.00 service fee. On june 22nd, 2015, My water heater broke. I called them and opened a claim for repair. The professional assigned to the inspection took note and noticed that the unit had to be replaced.

After sending the information to AFC, they claimed that the unit was 16 years old, and they did not want to repair it. They only offered me a pro rated amount of $300 if I decided to fix it. This is deceptive because they do not offer this information clearly upfront. What if the situation had been my AC which costs thousands of dollars? If they knew that my appliances would not be covered due to age, it needs to be clearly stated up front which WAS NOT. I would like for the Revdex.com to investigate the AFC for their deceptive practices. In addition, they do not provide the terms upfront.

I paid $500.00 and with my first claim I found out they are the most tricky and horrible company. I send my written notice for cancellation on Beginning of December and had called them more than 20 times. They never returned my call untill I left the message that I will file a disbute with my credit card company against them . Then a lady name "kristin" from finance company called me and said she will only credit back half of my money !!!!! They are very BAD. If you follow whoever works for them after a short time leaves them since no customer wants to stay. Please report this fraud company to whoever you know.

AFC was prompt in their attention to an issue we had about one of their service providers. They took appropriate action. Definitely would recommend them.

How I wish there we're negative stars for rating. AFC would get a -10 from me. NO JOKE! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!  They are LIARS!! I thought I knew what bad customer service was and until now, I had no idea. They do not return phone calls. They do not pay claims. Yes, you read it right...... claims, plural. I've been with them for a year and have tried to be understanding. Today I am done. They think of any excuse to avoid paying your claims. They do not care about their customers. They simply exist to take your money. They are a scam. Please, save yourself some grief and choose another company to do business with. I know home warranty companies are not know for being wonderful anyway but I'm telling you...... VEER AWAY FROM AFC!

I had a bad experience with this company. They did not fulfill their warranty commitment. Especially during the times I need to get something done in my condominium. Also, I had to request for refund because I paid for 3 yrs full to get a discount but the subcontract warrany provider DCI warranty closed down. They agreed to refund my remaining money but as of this moment I have not received it. I talked to their representative, certain John C but reasoned out he refunded the amount back to my credit card, which was already closed during that time. I ended up losing my money. I wont recommend AFC home warranty to anyone. Look for other companies instead.

Don't use this company. This is cheating.
If I can give them no star, I am willing to give zero star to them.
When I got this warranty, they explained me that all the heating or a/c issue will be included.
The only thing I need to pay is just $60 trip fee, so I got the premium plan.

My heater is not working fine, so I just called help.
When the technician told me about it, they could just replace the control panel whatever, and I need to pay only $60 for trip charge.
I got a phone call from the company and I heard that they couldn't pay it cause the damaged one was control panel that they were covering, but the damage was from secondary source from some of my neighbors or some whether issue.
Wait a minute.
The damaged one, they pay. but they can't because it was damaged from other source? Then, what is other source? How come they could be damaged?
They don't know from where, and keep saying just from other source.
I feel like it is really ridiculous and they are trying not to pay money to fix it.
How come they say it is secondary damage if they don't know where it came from?

They are cheaters.
I will cancel it. They told me I can cancel anytime but I need to pay cancellation fee. They even didn't tell me about cancellation fee.
whatever, I am done.

Do NOT get this america's first choice home club.
They are trying to rip off your money and don't give any benefit.
Worst warranty company ever.

I have had AFC HomeClub for the last 3 years. They have always had the best customer service when I am filing claims. My refrigerator went out on the weekend and I called for a tech to come out. He arrived 2 hours after I filed the claim and repaired my unit at the full cost on t
AFC. Of course I had to pay my service fee but they paid $332 to repair.

Just to say the least, Iam very pleased with the service because who can live without a fridge!?

AFC is vey responsive and easy to work with! So much better than past home warranty companies I have dealt with! The customer service is top notch.
