Business said customer misstated times and has not paid so there is no check to return. Customer did not want to pay for additional repairs.

To:  Revdex.com -
I have attached the Power of Attorney for my mother, Jo Ann Risheberger.  My full name is Victoria Risheberger [redacted].

[redacted] was so kind to suggest I email pictures to her, and she would attach them to our complaint.  May I please...

request confirmation that you have received the pictures and they are attached to the complaint.

I thank you very sincerely,
Best regards,

I will need to respond line by line to them because their responses are full of lies.1. [redacted]. who is a very nice young man, may have been a plumber for 23 years but he failed to fix my problem . And he only guessed why he could not. There was no actual diagnostic done to determine the actual problem. Just guesses.2. Using a coupon is irrelevant. The plumber did not fix my problem.3. The plumber never told me the clog was a main line clog. If it were wouldn't other drains in my house be clogged? All the other drains are fine.4. He can't say I refused to pay for other services offered because no other service was offered. [redacted] indeed did tell me how to do a home acid treatment. How else would I have known to do one? I am a senior citizen on a small income. I believe [redacted] was genuinely trying to help me save money. Just as I believe that when confronted by Mr. Affordable (aka Steve) he denied doing so out of fear of losing his job. What [redacted] actually said to me was, " If we have to come out and do an acid treatment it will cost you another $189.00." I don't consider this an offer of another service. It felt like a company policy of bait and switch.5. Accusing me of putting things down my kitchen sink that shouldn't be there is just a lie. And how would [redacted] know this? He was not at my house. I am very careful to not have things slip down my sink drains. I even keep little baskets in them to catch food scraps and anything else that might fall into the sink.6. It is totally irrelevant that this company is a corporation. Whatever it is, it took my money and did not provide the agreed upon result.7. I was not asking for free service, just service adequate for fixing my drain. I didn't get that.8. Now I learn that I am a very difficult person and have a bad attitude. The plumber and I got along very well. We are both respectful and nice people. For some reason that puzzled him he was unable to fix my drain. If it is being difficult to ask for my money back then so be it.  But for Affordable to lie about a customer, call her names when it fails to fix her problem, keep the money given for the service, to avoid making good by returning that money and to present itself as the aggrieved party is pretty low. It'simmoral, unethical, and very unprofessional. It makes me wonder how many other customers have been disappointed by this company but failed to complain. It is a well known phenomenon that for every one person who speaks out in complaintfor bad service there are about ten others who don't speak up. It makes me also wonder why Revdex.com would continue to give its coveted seal to this business. I have no problem with continuing this complaint until I get my $124.00 back.Thank you,
Regards,

We quoted a price of $199.00 to pump out the basement, which was 600 gallons OVER 500 Square feet, not 1000.  He is not telling the truth.  We are very fair on our pricing.  We are not issuing a refund.

Our Attorney spoke with Mr [redacted].  Mr [redacted] requested that copies of the invoices be emailed to him, and he would then be dropping any complaint.  We did email the invoices, in fact they were emailed to [redacted] and [redacted]...

[redacted].  Mr [redacted]  is the actual owner of the property.  [redacted] does not own the property.

Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The results of hiring Affordable 24/7 Services are devastating.  Attached are a few pictures of the property - accordingly finished per the contract.  Picture 138 - ground to patio; 136 - one of the vinyl-siding damages; 128 - lack of fence (buried in yard) & finished back yard.  There are more if helpful.
Again, they were hired to repair/replace a sanitary sewer line, and the results are a non-working sewer line and thousands of dollars of property damage.
Regards,[redacted]

Customer claimed this was an emergency - "start right away"........even though it was March and April and the rain amounts are unpredictable!  Customer's daughter and son in law wanted extra work done at no charge that was not in the contract.  We got the permit.  We passed inspection.   Our State of Ohio Master License is  and has been [redacted] (Lot King Development, Inc. DBA Affordable 24/7 Services).  [redacted] took the Metropolitan Sewer Tappers test and passed the first time - with a **.  To pass you only have to get a **.  Our number is and has been [redacted].  You are welcome to check with the State of Ohio and M.S.D. (Metropolitan Sewer District). We have adequate insurance.  The customer's daughter and son in law were not happy with the insurance adjuster (who apparently has 20 years experience)  so they called his boss to complain about him!  Beyond the above, we can not comment as we were advised by our insurance company  not to speak to them. The wall they talk about was already cracked and compromised.  We were contracted by [redacted] to fix the sanitary sewer only.  Our contract clearly states "We are not landscapers and we are not responsible for restoring your yard to the condition it was before we began digging.  We will however "backfill" the hole which may result in a mound of dirt that may completely, or not, settle into the hole after time.  We will try to minimize damage to your yard using our equipment, but it remains your responsibility to fully restore your yard."

After talking with the plumber, he stated that the line was cleared, and running when he left there.  When the customer called back, he was told that there were service calls booked ahead of him and that the plumber would be out as soon as possible.  The customer did not want to...

wait.   Bottom line, we were there, the line was cleared and running, we are not issuing a refund.

This customer was informed, as ALL customers are, that there is a $98 diagnostic charge to come out and diagnose any issues.  If a repair is made, the $98 then just applies into the cost of the repair.  He was told this in advance.  Unfortunately, this customer wants service for...

free.  We can not supply free repair information to customers for them to fix themselves.  We will be putting the Mechanics Lien on this property, we have tried to wait a bit to see if he did the right thing and paid what is owed. When customers don't pay, we are forced to go the legal route.  We have hundreds of satisfied customers, we wish we could please all, but if people don't want to pay their bill, we must pursue it.

In June 2014, the customer asked for a gas water heater for her Kennel.  We installed what the customer requested.  The customer did not want to pay for a permit.   The customer did not ask for a liquid propane water heater.    She asked for the pricing on all...

water heaters, she was given the pricing on all water heaters,  and she then requested the gas water heater because it was cheaper and it was for her Kennel.  Nearly 2 years later they bring this up.  They also referred to Steve as the owner of the Company, he is the General Manager, the Company is owned by a Corporation.

It is correct that the date of service on this job was 9/8/15.  This invoice was mailed to the customer on 9/24/15, 10/19/15, and lastly 11/5/15.  After the 3 mailings, it is also correct that the Invoice would then be turned over for collections and a lawsuit filed and that was written on...

the last invoice mailed.  After 3 mailings, at this point it does not appear that the customer will pay her bill, nor is she returning any of the numerous phone calls made to her number.  The customer herself stated in her complaint , that in her phone call on 11/9/15, she requested that she wanted to have copies sent of the invoice, obviously she had a copy, that is why she finally called the office on 11/9/15.  Also, at the time she called on 11/9/15, it was after office hours (according to the phone call log, her call came in at 6:02 PM, and the office closes at 5:30, so I would not have any access to Invoices until the office opened again the next morning at 9:30).  I tried to inform her that  I could not give her that exact details at that moment of the phone call, I was no longer in the office at the time of the call.  She could not hear anything over her own raised voice.I was not going to argue with her about the mailings.  I tried to tell the customer that the invoice had been mailed out 3 times.  She was argumentative, and using vulgar language.  I did not yell or use any of the language she was using.  She is just trying to pass the blame to the office for her failure to pay her bills.  She has admitted that she owes the money, and yes, we will file a suit, if we do not receive payment by Monday November 10th, 2015.  She just  needs to pay her bill, and not be angry with us because she struggles. As far as waiting until she orders and receives new checks, they sell money orders everyday at any gas station, or for that matter any bank.

She has multiple leaks.  We made several NO CHARGE trips to work on her water meter and even unclogged her water softener at no charge.  She still had multiple leaks.  We are not issuing a refund.

The customer called in January 2016.   With the information we had there was no warranty under the name, address, and zip code that was furnished to us.  As such, we had to buy the parts- not exchanged them.  The customer may have had a parts warranty, but not a labor warranty. ...

Why didn't the customer call the furnace installer who supposedly would have the necessary info?  It seems to me that their gripe would be with the furnace installer and not us!  When we called to check on the warranty, we were told the name, address, and zipcode furnished to us did not have a valid warranty.  We are providing no refund.
