Affordable Appliance Plus

I was trying to correspond with the customer to see if they went thru the credit card company as to make sure it wasn't getting credited twice. The credit company we use advises us not to issue a refund if the customer contracts there company. Hence why it wasn't been done.  I'm disappointed in the fact that a customer who doesn't return my calls when  I'm trying to get this resolved for them. Billy also told us he would take the review off of Facebook which he never did. I will send the credit thru again today and expect it on your account in 7-10 business day. There is a statement right on the bottom of our invoices that does state there is 100.00 fee per item, however I will not deduct the restocking but would appreciate the facebook negative review being taking off since that is what we agreed to.

Mr. [redacted] did order a washer and dryer and wasn't able to wait for us to get in so he did cancel his order. We sent him a credit memo and told him it would take 10-14 business days to credit his account. He called back to the store and said he was disputing the charges thru the credit card...

company.  The credit card company sent us a notice and we had told them we are not disputing the charge back. Then it is out of our hands. I don't know what the credit cards company do after that. We assumed it was all taken care of.  I would suggest checking with them to see what they are doing to precede with the chargeback.

The merchandise the customer order was in high demand and took longer to arrive than anticipated. Yes we did say that we would refund the money. It does state on our invoice that there is a $100.00 restocking fee per item ( hence the 400.00 restocking fee). She stated that she contacted her credit...

card company so have not followed up with the credit on our end because not wanting to have it credited twice. I have left a few messages on phone number ###-###-####, on 9/28 and 9/29 to confirm if she requested a refund with the credit card company or if I was to be verifying that it was processed on our end. I have not gotten a call back from them. In talking to [redacted] she informed me to respond in writing here so I will be waiting to see what action I should be taking from here.

I am rejecting this response because:
I feel it's Affordable Appliance Plus' responsibility to give me a refund, not my credit card companies. Looking on the Revdex.com site it's a reoccurring theme with Affordable Appliance Plus. I've attached a screen shot of someone claiming affordable appliance plus basically stole $11000 from this man. As soon as people start stating negative experiences, they have had on there Facebook page they delete and block them so they can no longer share their experiences. Hopefully people do more research then I did on this deceptive business.

I have been in contact with Mr. [redacted] several times per phone and email about his credits. I am told by our cc processing department that it takes approximately 7-10 business days to process a refund. Mike and that it would probably be faster for him to do a dispute, which he did, and I received paperwork confirming that. Once a dispute is started it says right on the paperwork do not issue credit (refund). I did call for the second refund and processed it, After talking with the processing company for three days and getting the same answer that the refunds were processed on their end that it was up to the customers cc company  i was informed yesterday that the processing company but a hold on the refunds because there was several customers returned the same day. The gal told me that the customers need to dispute their charges. That is what I passed on to Mike.

Unfortunately when [redacted] did come in to pick up here check there was a mishap at the bank. She was told that day to call on Monday and Erin would try to find out some information for her. She wrote this complaint to the Revdex.com and then she contacted Erin per text message about the check....

Erin told her that we need to get a hold of the owner to resolve this matter.  We are in contact with the customer.

I am rejecting this response because:
To whom this may concern, I am rejecting this response since this same excuse is what they told me back when I asked for the initial refund.  Their account has been breached and I needed to do a charge back.  Long story short is I did this and they contacted Tammara, she then contacted me again on 12/6 in order to process another refund. Which has again failed due to "too many refunds in a day". I feel their account is always on hold.  Since their account is still supposedly on hold I do not have a refund in terms I will not accept this as being resolved as she has said the same lies for over 1-1/2 months.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. We did pick up a check that they issued back to us in the full amount that we have paid them. From here on out we are done doing business with them. I will not be taking my negative reviews down from here like they wanted us to as we feel that other people should know how this business runs when it comes to customers orders.
