In order to satisfy the customer and bring this issue to a close, we are willing to refund her labor for the installation of the ice maker in the amount of We will not refund on the parts which are non-returnable and working properly in her unit

Simply the worst appliance repair company allowed to continue to operate Never finished the job and charged my account over $Refrigerator still not repaired weeks laterThey border on fraudulent

I was very pleased with this repair service They were professional, polite, knowledgeable, and as their name implies, affordable Their prices are affordable, but they don't skimp on quality I will be using them again and have already recommended them to friends

Facts of this case:We were assigned a claim by [redacted] to diagnose two appliances for Ms [redacted] on April 19, a GE/Washer and MT/Refrigerator The washer was covered under her home warranty policy, unfortunately the home owner did not have icemaker coverage on her policy We gave the homeowner an estimate of to replace the icemaker on a c.o.dbasisOn May 5, 2016, we completed the warranty repairs on the washer and replaced the icemaker at the home owners request Homeowner requested a service call on May 31, stating that the unit was not making ice and we went out with the water valve which we told her would be necessary for the additional repair She was given an estimate of $to replaced the water valve on the ice maker and received approval prior to scheduling Our technician arrived on May 31, between 12-pm, the unit was making ice as should and the homeowner opted to not have the replacement of the water valve completed Again the homeowner contacted us that the icemaker was not working and scheduled an appointment on June 14, from 4-pm, same estimate on repair was given of to replace the water valve The tech arrived at the residence to find that the icemaker was functioning properly and making ice Homeowner once again refused to have the repair made and technician left.Contact with office:Homeowner has made numerous calls to the office to try and obtain a refund for the icemaker Each time our tech goes out to do the additional repairs it is at no additional charge for labor The homeowner has refused to have the repairs made on two occasions and is very argumentative with the office staff and also the owner The owner of the company, [redacted] , stated to Ms [redacted] that we would no longer be able to send one of our techs out since we have made multiple attempts to correct the issue Ms [redacted] has asked for a full refund of the repairs, but we have refused those as the icemaker is functioning properly and has been installed The owner suggested that she have another company out to have the repairs completed. Our conclusion:We will not be servicing Ms***'s icemaker any further and do not feel that a refund is warranted

Hello, in to a response for the complaint that was submitted on 10/4/and was assigned an ID of ***I was out at Mrs *** house to look at there *** top load washer that was made by **It had an error code of OEWhich meant that the drain pump was not draining properlyThe
pump was ordered and I returned back to their home a few days later when the pump came inThe pump was installed and testedUnfortunately the repair was not fixed with the pumpI explained that I would try to get some help from ** and other technicians via the web about this matterI also told them that there was three other items that could cause this to happenI let them know that I would order the parts while I still try to get a service manual for this unit since it was made for ***I also explained that the parts were not carried on this island and that it could take anywhere from days to up weeks to come in. I did hear from her husband twice as he did call me and I did say I would call backThe only problem was he called me from a number that I could not find in my system because it was not the same number used when they made the appointment and since he called me when I was driving I did not get to see the number he called me from because I answered the phone from my bluetoothI tried to find which number was his by putting all the phone calls that came in that day in the computer but it did not show a matchSo I was unable to get back to him to give him updatesNot a very good excuse but the truthBut of the other parts that I ordered, I only received one of them and that was after I got the complaint letterI see that they would like a refund back and that they have given amount that they want backI have no problems with that and will gladly give them a refund but it will be more than what they asked forYea, I will take the lost on the parts that were ordered but that is the way it goes in this businessI try my best to help out and get peoples appliances working again, but as we all know it, you can't please everyone. Sincerely, James Affordable Appliance Repair

I have an update. I just called the appliance company to see if they've responded to the escalation I submitted with the warranty company. The female representative at Affordable Appliance Repair said since they're a sub-contractor she doesn't have to provide me with the correct street address. When I advised that the owner, Manny, didn't provide a business card she stated that's customary because the work is through the warranty company and the warranty company has all they need on file. I was also told that the owner, Manny, fields emails through her (she refused to provide her name) and I can correspond via [email protected] or call ###-###-####. There is still no appointment or anything to service my washer. Thank you,[redacted]Sent from my [redacted]

In order to satisfy the customer and bring this issue to a close, we are willing to refund her labor for the installation of the ice maker in the amount of 60.00.  We will not refund on the parts which are non-returnable and working properly in her unit.

[redacted] has recently settled my charge against them for poor customer service and not repairing my refrigerator in a timely manner, however their hired help, Affordable Appliance Repair should be put out of business in my opinion.   This repair service came into my home to repair my...

refrigerator.  Removed parts, broke a refrigerator shelf, returned 4 times with a wrong part then never came back.  They do not answer phone calls, do not return calls, messages, or texts.  But as of now they are the warranty company's responsibility and since I have reached a settlement with warranty, please close my complaint.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:  there are multiple untruths in the statement. the new replacement icemaker was installed and paid for on May 5, 2016. several days later I started calling to explain that the icemaker was not making ice. I was told that employees were on vacations in Florida and that they were short staffed.on May 17 I received a call that the valve would cost $91.10 . I asked if the "valve" was part of the refrigerator and maybe covered by [redacted]. she said she would check. days later she called and said the valve was not covered, and that the cost would be $71.10, their cost.  We agreed, and on May 31 their technician (whom, by the way was very professional) came to replace the valve.  when he arrived, he noticed some ice in the icemaker, and said "if it aint broke, dont fix it and he left. I called on June 3 and left a message that the icemaker wasnt making ice... my time is running out but I want to state that I never asked for a refund, until we contacted the Revdex.com. Ialso have never been argumentative.  on JUne 14 the technitian came to our home at 8:30 p.m. the icemaker was making ice ans the technician and I texted for days afterward as the icemaker stopped working. he was supposed to contact me after he talked to the Whirlpool dealer. I have the text messages.

for her [redacted] coffee maker.  An appointment was made and the technician went to her home on 10/10/14.  He found the machine clogged with coffee grounds which is a common issue when the units are not maintained well.  He proceeded to unclog the machine and showed her how to do this in the future.  He also reset the coffee temp. ,made a cup of coffee with her and then proceeded to look at her microwave upon her request.   The customer was charged $130.00 plus tax which is a $70.00 service call fee (which everyone is charged ) and $60.00 for a regular repair.  In most cases there is also a $30.00 diagnostic fee however she was not charged for that.  This kind of repair was done in an effort to save Mrs. [redacted] some money and was agreed upon with her and the technician.
Mrs. [redacted]  called back on 10/13/14 and said that the same problem was occurring.  After speaking with her another appointment was made to go back out to service the unit again and in a different way; ie..the unit would have to be" disassembled" which is very labor intensive.  Another call was made to the customer to advise her that she would not be charged another service call however she would be charged for the additional labor.  At that point she cancelled the call
