I am sorry you feel check is fraudulent FYI the date on the check is 08/20/
Obviously your copy of the letter along with the check we lost in the mail
At this time I will reissue another check and send *** ** so you can track
unfortunately I will not be installing shutters for you at no charge At this point I would not feel
comfortable working in your home
At some point the original check will probably arrive at your home If so please cash it and make a donation
to your favorite charity

After working very diligently to accommodate this customer I was surprised to receive a complaintThe customer rescheduled several times due to problems with their closing, even canceling the night before the install was scheduledWe rearrange several jobs and caused disruption other customers to
accommodate the new schedule. The customer provided the measurements for pull-out drawers, assuring us that the measurements were correctThe measurements were incorrect and the pull-out drawers had to be reordered, causing a delay in the completion of the projectThe customer was told that it would take a few weeks and that as soon as the replacement pull-outs were received, they would be notified and the installation scheduledThe customer called daily and on several occasions multiple times a dayCalls were returned to the customer and the office answered several times during this period with the same response “the replacement pull-outs are on order and as soon as we receive them we will schedule the install.” When the replacement pull-outs arrived late on a Friday, we installed on a Saturday, a non-working day for our company, again to accommodate this customerI am not sure why the customer felt the need to call on a daily basis. After receiving the complaint we contacted the customer and offered to remove everything for a full refundThe customer said, “No, we love it!”We now have a company policy that all measurements be verified prior to the ordering of material***

I am rejecting this response because: The Business response is inaccurate and I feel it's important for the customer base to have an accurate record for future transactions.  We are Completely Satisfied with the completed projected and the quality of workmanship.  Our only complaint was the business was totally unresponsive to our phone calls and emails inquiries as to when they would finish the work.  They rarely returned calls and never responded to email inquiries.   They measured the draws and we didn't have a problem with a slight delay when they informed us they came in incorrectly.  We only requested a update on a weekly basis.  Their customer communication was intolerable.  They never answer the phone, never returned calls, and never respond by the date they said they would. That said I would definitely recommend this company but make sure you have the ability to communicate and some penalty if they fail to respond.  I consider this closed!

Until I receive the deposit check I will not accept this as a resolution.   I made many calls to this business over the last 8 months with no response by the the owner.   I won't...

These items were never mailed to me.  
I have never received a check or a letter.
Like I said, he has never returned any of my many calls.  If you notice there is no date on the money order.  Why a money order and not a business check?  I think his letter and check are fraudulent.

Review: This company Affordable Closets also do work under the name Northeast Discount Blinds. On July 23rd 2014 I gave Mr B[redacted] a 300 dollar deposit by debit card for window blinds (shades) . He advised me that the blinds would be ready in 3 weeks. After 3 weeks pasted I did not hear from Mr B[redacted] so I call the company and left a message. I left a message on August 26 a month later I called Mr B[redacted] and got his voice mail. I left a message with a phone number for him to give me a return call. I called every week after that and left my name and number. In October 8th 2014 I had a letter send to him requesting he refund my money. Now a year later I still have not received a call or a refund. I know Mr B[redacted] is still in buisness because he continues to advertise .Desired Settlement: Refund of my money
