Review: I ordered 3 shutters on January 17, 2014. I gave you a deposit of $375.00. You said delivery would be within 6 weeks. I have not received the shutters to date (7/3/2014) I started calling in April and you have never returned any of my calls regarding the status of the order.Desired Settlement: I would like my deposit refunded.

Until I receive the deposit check I will not accept this as a resolution. I made many calls to this business over the last 8 months with no response by the the owner. I won't honor this until he has returned my deposit.

Like I said, he has never returned any of my many calls. If you notice there is no date on the money order. Why a money order and not a business check? I think his letter and check are fraudulent.

I am sorry you feel check is fraudulent FYI the date on the check is 08/20/2014.
Obviously your copy of the letter along with the check we lost in the mail.
At this time I will reissue another check and send [redacted] so you can track.
unfortunately I will not be installing shutters for you at no charge . At this point I would not feel
comfortable working in your home .
At some point the original check will probably arrive at your home . If so please cash it and make a donation
to your favorite charity.
Review: We had 2 closets done by affordable closets- in our bonus room closet we had special ordered doors that [redacted] did not have upon installation. He said he would get them within a week or so and would return to install them. That was the end of October 2014. My husband spoke to him once a few weeks after and the doors were still not in yet. Since then we have made multiple calls to him to both phone numbers also left a message through his website and have not heard from him yet. It is now Jan 10, 2015 and I have paid him $1648.43 -that price I cluded my doors for my closet!!Desired Settlement: I would like a phone call from him and I would like my doors installed very soon!!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution is An unacceptable response. After 3 months we obtained his cell phone number and WE called him-he never made an effort to return our calls. He did show up this morning to put in the doors, but he damaged one so the matter is still not resolved. He has given us his word that he will order and install a new door until this happens the matter remains open.His customer service and professionalism leaves a lot to be desired.
