We have no additional comments at this time, other than to point out that healthy trees are falling throughout the region due to overly saturated grounds conditions.  Even light winds will push trees over simply because the ground is not stable enough for the roots to hold secure.  We will complete safety inspections as needed and will promptly address any issues that are identified. thank you.

The foundation of the [redacted] home was installed to the home manufacturers specifications. The foundation was inspected by the local zoning officer and was approved. The [redacted]'s contacted AGL Homes with concerns of cracking in the homes drywall. The cracking in the home was from normal...

transport and set stress on the home. AGL Homes went back to the home and repaired all the cracking and repainted the entire house as a matter of good will. If there continues to be cracking, it is not due to the foundation. The [redacted]'s may be still occupying the home seasonally. If this is the case, this could lead to cracking by not keeping continuous moisture and temperature levels in the home. AGL Homes did inspect the carpet in the home. It was determined that the homes carpet was consistent with that of a model home that had been walked through for 1 1/2 years prior to their purchase. AGL Homes will typically offer discounts on models for this reason, and this home was priced accordingly. They can be found under The Special Buys page of our web site. The issue with the front door sticking was also addressed. AGL inspected the door to make sure it was properly installed at the manufacturing facility and confirmed that it was. The home has a vinyl clad door with vinyl jambs. It's because of this that when the vinyl heats up and cools down the vinyl will expand and contract causing the door to stick on occasion. This would not be considered a warranty repair as the door was installed correctly. In conclusion, the homes foundation and the home were installed and inspected by local zoning. Both were found to be done to code and a certificate of occupancy was issued by the towns zoning officer. If there are any further questions, please contact by phone or email.
