The dealer fixed the engine problem and the air conditioner. That is all. The rest of the problems still there, like: the air system, sometimes a little noise ( that I have NO IDEA what it is ) and the doors locker. I'M NOT HAPPY, but what I'll do???  Try to fix little by little as my money gives me a permission and NEVER come back to that dealer anymore.

I purchased a [redacted] from affordable motors on sat the 2/21/15 & my check engine light came on the following sun. I took matters in my own hand & payed to get a full engine diagnostic done that Monday & it was a lot of stuff wrong with the engine then I decided to get a emission test just so I can have on record also it won't pass & come to find out they had already took the car to do an emission test that same sat I pick the car up but they told me the emission place was closed & knowin it was a problem with the car & still let me drove off the lot with the car knowing there was something wrong with it... I was told to come back Thursday which will be tomorrow to come & get my plates but how would I get my plates if the car wouldn't pass emission...they said they sent the car out to be fix but I don't believe them & from the comments I've been seeing it's like why are they even still doin business it's more complaints than satisfaction. I just want my full refund of my $3000 that I put down as a down payment

Review: I was told the sold me a 4x4 vehicle I took it to my mechanic and that part was missing and brought it back for repairs and since then the keep telling that they are ordering the part, I am just so afraid they are taking advantage of me, they were other issues with the vehicle but because I never took the car to a test drive, I need to fix the AC, the door window remote does not work, I am so sad that they are business like that selling autos in bad conditions, I need to get my car fix because that part was taken missing AND THEY WERE NOT HONEST WITH ME. Review: I purchased 2004 Nissan Altima,from Affordable Motors of Bridgeport, CT. the vehicle was sold to me with a one completely bald tire.The vehicle dash board lights came on (check engine, battery, oil ), and was vibrating during driving.The car completely shut off just as I pulled on the off ramp on the I-95.The shaking, the car kept cutting off, also dash board lights remained on continues. The car was parked on the side of Affordable Motors.The car head lights, brake lights stayed on by itself. The brake lights kept blinking on and off by itself. The battery had to be disconnected. On March 09,2013, within a week old of purchased, my husband and I wanted to exchange for more safe and reliable car that's not going to cut off on the highway while our son drives to work.The salesman [redacted] said there was "no 15 days exchanged. My husband called the Police, the officers said to file a compliant with D M V, Revdex.com. The Vehicle was towed to a certified Mechanic shop. The repair is $751.33. The Mechanic said on warranty paper odometer reading stated 95,574 and vehicle odometer reading is 94,918.

Review: I purchased a vehicle on August 21. When I got the car the service airbag and tire pressure light was on. The mileage was also at 105,300. When I looked at the paperwork the mileage on the paperwork was 104,450. When I told the dealer of these issues I was assured they would get fixed. They did not months later I still didn't get anything fixed. The mileage was fixed and the air bag light was taken care of but not the tire pressure light. So I took the car myself to get fixed where I find out not only was the tire pressure sensor was broken but there are four bent rims on my car. As well as three different tires on my car. Which I now have to fix because months of trying to get everything fixed I have gotten nowhere.Desired Settlement: I would like my tires and rims replaced or If I have to get myself I would like a refund. Tires to me is a safety issue I cant drive a car with bad tires and four bent rims. As well as the refund for the tire pressure sensor that I did buy and had replaced.

Review: I Purchased a 2005 [redacted] Equinox on June 2, 2015 and 3 Months Later numerous Malfunctions are occurring in My Vehicle. Such as The following: Transmisson Leaks, Center Bearing hanging Bar, Struts and Bar Rotted, Muffler Rotten, Intake Manifold Leak, Numerous hoses that need to be replaced(leaks), Evap System Malfunctioning, Canister/Reservior needs to be replaced(leaks), IVAC.Desired Settlement: On Sept 15, 2015 I brought same vehicle to Affordable Motors and explained to him that I had a Certified Mechanic look at my Vechicle([redacted], Ct) and gave me a computerized print out of The numerous things that are leaking, faulty and what needs to be replaced (which is everything listed above). The Mechanic went to say that the Vehicle is not safe to drive. The Dealer Ricardo(last name ?) told me that the vehicle is in excellent shape and theirs nothing wrong with it. He refused to even look at the list of items and continued on that "as is" means as is. My contentions is that he sold this vehicle knowing that repairs needed to be done but didn't and sold the vehicle without even do any 100 point inspection which is required by law to do. My resolve is that all items listed be repaired in a reasonable time and all expenses for such repair remain solely with the deal and his business. I in good faith try to reason with him but he failed to even look at the report or even give me conclusion other then saying and I quote "look lady nothing I can do" went on to say this numerous times. So I am asking for full repair without any out of pocket expense to myself. Used Car or not "A LEMON IS A LEMON"

Review: Horrible vehicles and even worse customer service.

I paid for my car in cash on February 28th, 2013 for a total of $5,880.00 after all the fees. I was told the car would be ready the next day for pick up, which it was not. I didn't end up getting my car until the 8th of March and the employees were very unpleasant during that time while I was calling to find out what was going on and why it was taking so long to receive my car. After receiving my car, the engine light had came on only after one hour of having it. I brought it back the next day and was told it was only a sensor. The car has been having mechanical problems since I've taken it off the lot, it feels as if the transmission is going. I called Affordable Motors and was rudely told that what ever is wrong with the car is MY problem since it was sold as is. I've only had the car for just under a week now, I feel that it should NOT have these kind of problems. Especially since the problem has started as soon as the car was taken off the lot. I feel that I was lied to about the car being looked at by their mechanic and that nothing was wrong with it, there's obviously something seriously wrong with it. I bought the car there because two friends of mine have bought cars from there, so I thought I'd be getting a good car. Now, my friends cars do not even work. Affordable Motors has left a very bitter feeling with me. The sales manager, [redacted], is the worst out of the other employees. I am very unsatisfied and feel as if I were robbed of my money. It's not fair that they would sell people these no good, trashy, unreliable vehicles for such a large amount of money and lie about the product you are purchasing. Desired Settlement: I feel I am entitled to a refund due to the fact that the problems with the car started as soon as it came off the lot, which they were immediately informed of. I am convinced that they were aware of the problems just by the way I was treated. I do not want any problems, I just want my money back or something that actually is worth my money.

Review: I purchased an extended service warranty contract on a 2005 [redacted] last year when I purchased the vehicles from them. In april of 2013, I was involved in a hit and run accident and the vehicle was a total loss by my insurance. My insurance has paid [redacted] the amount they gave me for the car leaving only a smaller portion to be pay by the Extended Service Warranty Company.The service Warranty company paid and mail the check to Affordable Motor Inc,the dearler since May 5th, 2013. I have been calling Affordable Motor & spoke with both the Office Managers Mr. [redacted] & Ms. [redacted] numerous time since May'2013; confirmed with both the check is there and is going to be mail to pay off the loan with GCU. As of today, June 6th, 2013, [redacted] has not receive the check and they keep calling me.I was also told by Greenwood they are going to report this debt to collection which will negatively affect my credit. Affordable Motors is holding the check and not releasing it for no reason. I do not owe tham anything; they know this is for the pay off the car and still keep lieing and lieing.

Desired Settlement: I would like to pay of fthe credit union and prevent this from negtively affecting my credit.

Review: On 02/10/2014 I purchased a 2004 [redacted] Navigator at Affordable Motors and have been having problems with this vehicle the very next day after purchasing the vehicle I have been going back and fourth with the seller on when to bring the vehicle back to them for repairs the vehicle have been giving me problems with starting almost everyday and every time I wanted to bring the vehicle back to the dealer the vehicle wouldn't start I then went and purchased a brand new battery and the vehicle was fine for about a week then back to the same problem with the vehicle not starting. On 03/05/2014 I was told by the seller of affordable motors to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealer to me and he would pay for the deductible which is included in my warranty well of course I had to have it towed through my insurance to [redacted] the vehicle has since been at the dealer with an alternator problem so the dealer tells me. Then I get a phone call about 4 days later from [redacted] explaining to me that the alternator was changed but the vehicle is still having the same problem not starting its been almost 2weeks that I have been trying to contact the seller at affordable motors to try and see if I can get a loaner car and who would be responsible for the charges at [redacted] I have a 2year warranty on this vehicle and as of today 03/17/2014 I have yet to hear from anyone from Affordable Motors or get me vehicle back... Please Help!!!! Review: my name is [redacted] and my husband name is [redacted] in august 2006 he purchase a nissian exterra from afforable motors. when he brought the vehicle to me at my job and I went into it and start to check it out I realize that the engin light was on so I told him he need to have them check out the light to see what was going on so we called them to inform them of the this and they stated that the light will go off by itself. On the second day I called back to let him know that the light was still on and that I was hearing some noise from the car so I told them that I was brining in the car.I brought the car in the next day and left it there for them to fix it on the 4th day he called and said that it was fixed by nissian I got the vehicle back a day later the engine light came back on so I called them again and told them, including the noise that was coming from the van they said that their mechanic would not be able to look at it but they will call me when he is freed up. I took it upon myself and took it to two different mechanic who told me that the transmission and the rediator wasbad and need to be replace and the universal valve need to be change. I called them and informed them of this and he said to bring the vehicle in so their mechanic can test it out so I brought it to them and his mechanic too it out with us in it and he took it on the highway and he heard the noise and how the van was driving so he came back and told them that it was dangerous for me to continue driving the vandue to what he heard and see so they took the van in november so it took them three months back and forth and them giving me a loner here and there the longest this vehicle was with us was about one week. they took the vehicle from november and we still have not gotton back our vehicle and the loaner they gave us they took it back in february saing that it is not their responsible to give me a car.

Desired Settlement: I would like for them to fix my vehicle and return it to me with all the work that is need done. Or I would like them to refund me my money back so I can go somewhere else and buy me a good car.

Review: They sold me a failed emission test car. The engine light is on. The lights on the panel sometimes turn ON/OFF by themselves. Air conditioner is not working. The doors lock either. The car is beating. Needs alignment. Fire sparks coming out from the muffler.I bought the car on May 13, 2014. I went back on the next day and on Monday, May 26. And they continue to say that the car is perfect. Only the air conditioner is not working.Desired Settlement: I don't want the car anymore. I want to change. They need to provide me a car working perfect.

Review: Around the middle of August, I began looking for a vehicle with the help of my father. Both of my parents have purchased vehicles from Affordable Motors and have had great experiences. Unfortunately, I have not had the same experience. We originally settled on a 2004 [redacted] Taurus, and was told that the car would be registered, cleaned and ready to go within the next couple of days. However, after a week we were told it would not pass emissions and they would prefer if I got a different car because it would be better for me in the long run. So I eventually settled on a 2006 [redacted] G6, and again was told that it would be ready in the next couple of days. Again, a week went by and after numerous calls and etc, I was told that the car would be ready the following day (Sept. 4th). However, on the morning of Sept. 4th, the salesman told me that the [redacted] G6 would also not pass emissions and began to put the pressure on about purchasing yet another car. My father purchased another car from Affordable Motors and the salesman claimed that this car would be in perfect working condition. This entire operation is extremely sketchy, the business focuses on helping those with poor credit gain access to fiancers so they may be able to purchase a vehicle. I believe because of this, Affordable Motors is scamming their customers into buying cars that are not in proper working order. This entire practice needs to be looked into because something is not right here. Many people with poor or adverse credit may feel like they do not have any options and are stuck with businesses that are running scams. Affordable Motors is doing just that.Desired Settlement: I believe that Affordable Motors has a responsibility to it's customers to provide what they advertise. I would like to have the [redacted] G6 fixed and made available to me as it was promised on numerous occasions.

Review: Paid for the car on 03/11/2013 and wasn't able to sign the papers due to emissions failure, their mechanic was unable to contact me back, and left countless amounts of voicemails to Milford Location. Had to do repair on my own. Dealership also lied to me about the final cost of the vehicle on the day I signed the papers for the car 3/22/2013, they sold me a car with a CEL light that kept coming on, faulty brakes, no spare tire, the hood support rod was missing, the tires all have a slow leak, and it is way overdo for an oil change. After reading others complaints, I feel that the issue with the Current Check Engine Light being on still, will never get resolved or any of the issues currently wrong with the car will be repaired. I am stuck financing a car, for 6 months that has TONS of issues, and was hidden until 2 weeks after my purchase. They told me they would fix the problems, and nothing has been done yet. I am within my 60 day warranty period and would like to see this issues addressed IMMEDIATELY. I can not drive my car on the highway because the alignement is HORRIBLE. The car shakes all over the place and is hard to control. I've broke down on the side of the highway due to the Camshaft Position Sensor and wires being Faulty. Those of which I've had to replace myself, and was NEVER reimbursed for as well as a very disgustingly dirty air filter, that I had no choice but to replace myself. AS well. Please help address these issues. So I can feel that making the monthly payments are going to something that is worth value of what I am paying $5,800 and the $1,800 financing. I do believe this car is what they call a LEMON. I've had the car for almost 3 weeks and the CEL light has come on 3 times for different issues, and is currently on as I sit here.

Desired Settlement: Would like all issues with car resolved. + Tires Replaced+ Oil Changed (as it should have already been serviced prior to purchase) + Brakes and Rotors Replaced.+ Cabin Air Filter Changed+ Spark Plugs and Wires ReplacedAs well as reimbursed for the air filter, and camshaft position sensor I had to purchase. I do have receipts.

went to make a payment on my car 4/10/13 and they acted like they never knew of any problems. Was told they would call me back and as usual they havent. This is getting fustrating as my warranty is closer to the end 30 days left, and I have a feeling they will not fix what was promised to be fixed. The car is unable to be driven on the highways.. due to excessive shaking and theres a weird noise in the tires. The tires are all dry rotted and the brakes are corroded. The check engine light is still on. PleAse do something about this!

Review: I purchased a vehicle on August 17, 2013. I complained about a noise I heard as well as the inside of the vehicle not being cleaned. Approximately 2 months later, the vehicle broke down and I ended up having to come out of pocket approximately $1,200. They are selling vehicles with false advertising about rebuilding credit. By selling the damaged vehicles they are in fact jepordizing your credit history and your physical safety. There were two screws that had broken off from the exhausted and could have caused physical harm.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of damages.

WHEN I WENT THE FOLLOWING DAY THE GUY TOLD ME I WASNT APPROVED FOR THE CAR THAT I WOULD NEED A BIGGER DOWN PAYMENT AFTER BEING TOLD I WAS APPROVED BEFORE I MADE THE DOWN PAYMENT. SO I TOLD HIM I WOULD THINK ABOUT IT AND TOLD HIM THAT I WANTED MY REFUND HE TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE 72 HOURS TO GET MY REFUND BACK WHEN THE 72 HOURS PASSED BY I CALLED AND THE SALESMAN SAID I WOULD HAVE TO WAIT A WEEK MORE FOR MY REFUND WHEN HE CLEARY SAID HE WILL HAVE MY MONEYINSTEAD OF GIVING ME THE RUN AROUND.Desired Settlement: I WOULD LIKE MY CASH REFUNDED BACK TO ME.
