My name is Dr [redacted] My reservation # XXXXXXXXMy wife and I were trying to call at 1-number all day today and yesterday immediately after purchasing and were on hold for hrs at times without a successWe needed to make changes to our air ticketsAir Canada has a charge free change/cancellation policy if request is made within hrsWe could not do it directly with airline because the tickets were bought through Air Canada Vacations rather than directly from the airlineWe exhausted our options to contact them in a timely fashionWe think it's an unacceptable customer serviceMost of the travel agencies work 24/

I booked a hotel on the Air Canada website in CAD and was charged USD When I called to request a refund I couldn't get anywhere, and they insisted their website books in USD If you go online you can clearly see that this isn't the case, and I specifically recall the site saying CAD when I booked [redacted]

Air Canada Vacations changed my package arbitrarily to a cheaper package without refunding the price difference.The response time was days delayed I booked an Air Canada Vacation on November 1, The first part of the flight is ACfrom Calgary to Edmonton on February 1, In the morning of January 2, I got an email about the ITINERARYThe flight is still the same ACWhen I checked the Air Canada website, I was shocked to see two different flight in the system ACand ACfrom Calgary to EdmontonI called Air Canada and was noticed that the flight was booked by AirCanada Vacation's mistake, as ACwas cancelledAnd ACwould not connect to my next flight from Edmonton to TorontoI called Air Canada VacationA lady named [redacted] answered the phone and told me that it is illegal to book a flight ACthat cannot connect to the next flightWithout my permission, Eva changed my flight to AC When I checked the price of AC8160, I noticed that

In effort to plan our annual family reunion, we decided to go through a travel agency ( [redacted] travel) to pre-book our vacation in early August, for [redacted] resort and spa operated by Air Canada vacationsWe chose to book five months in advance for our Christmas holiday mainly to avoid unreasonable fare increases, increases that normally occur if you book your vacation last minuteHowever, this was certainly not the caseOn booking our vacation the rates we were given were quite high however in order to justify those rates [redacted] claimed that it was due to the fact that we were travelling during Christmas seasonWhich made sense, furthermore this agency assured us that if a price drop occurred we would be taken care ofThe fare we paid was $ 2,a person for a group of eight which amounted to a sum of $22,A week prior to our departure date when trying to plan our seating arrangements we noticed a significant price drop on both the Air Canada website and the [redacted] travel agency websiteThis price had dropped to $1,per person (including tax), which amounted to a difference of $per person for a total of people coming to a sum of $7,Upon learning this, we were extremely disappointed specifically because we were not informed about this price dropWe then scheduled a meeting with our [redacted] travel agent the following dayAfter speaking with our [redacted] representative, she too was shocked and understood our frustrationShe stated that she would immediately contact the highest office within Air Canada vacations in order to work on some kind of compensation for the price dropHowever, this did not happen, our [redacted] agent did not take this issue up with the head office in Montreal and instead contacted the provincial sales office of AlbertaThis action clearly showed her lack of effort in attempt to resolve this issue for usThe next day through an exchange of e-mails we found out that both the [redacted] agency and Air Canada vacations were not prepared to give us any kind of compensation apart from assigned seatsFor giving this company business of over $ 20,dollars this is unacceptable and quite insulting that they would even offer such kind of compensationHow is it fair that in-spite of booking in advance you still end up with a raw deal via the unethical practices used by this huge corporationNot to mention that we will now be travelling with passengers who paid half the price of what we paid without any prior booking or paying in advance

*** vacation booked *** to Dominican Republic through travel agent in *** ***I learned I was pregnant prior to going on the vacationI had a doctor note, regarding high risk of Zika, and advised to not travelI forwarded this note, via email, to *** ***, who then forwarded it to Air Canada Vacations (ACV).I have attempted numerous times to get hold of both *** *** and Air Canada Vacations.I spoke with Helen, in ACV who told me there was a claim opened regarding my fileI have made daily attempts to get hold of both parties, who have yet to return my call regarding this matterI contacted *** also, but they cannot help as the money was charged to my *** longer than days

I can't believe that they charge a 50% cancellation fee of total price (flight plus taxes) and then charge tax on top of that I book only a flight They are not upfront about it Should be on main screen before paying, not in fine print where you need to read pages or more
Why does Air Canada.com offers a FULL CREDIT to be used within a year but not AC vacations???

We travelled to *** in Cayo Coco, Cuba on January 23, There were various issues which were somewhat resolved by the resortHowever, one major issue that has not been resolved by the resort or Air Canada Vacations is the pricing of different room categories (Standard/Superior/Ocean View) when there is actually only category roomWhen we arrived at the resort, we were told there are only standard rooms.Neither our vacation provider nor the resort has offered a refund for the differenceWe requested and paid for a superior room which was $1021/person when it was actually a standard roomThe cost of the standard room was $987.40/personBoth the above prices mentioned are for double occupancy and in CAD
During our stay there was also one of the workers which followed my yr old daughter and was to the point of harassing her when she asked him to leave her aloneWe were a group of which had various issues such as lack of hot water, no water at all, broken

Recently we travelled to Greece using AIR CANADA VACATIONS to book our trip Overall, we were very satisfied with the booking (hotels chosen, itinerary, transfers, etc.) We ran into one problem at the end of our vacation, which is why we are raising this claim
